I am half way done retie my hair and had to come here for motivation 😂. Its my second day doing my hair... for the first time.
Cut the aloe with the prickly parts cut off. Soak in water for 15 minutes ,3 times, or until the water is clear (will turn yellow at first soak). The Yellow liquid that’s closest to the skin is what causes itchiness/ irritation.
Cut the remaining green skin off, rinse, and blend how you normally would. Good luck!!

Lovely locs! How many hours in total did it take to retie? I want to know if I would be able to retie my locs if they were similar to yours in quantity/size.
Thank you! I did most of it on the livestream and I was on for AWHILE 😂 I"d say about 12 hours total. I broke it up into session because I need a break! I have 270ish locs for reference, I gotta recount.💜
