I’m sword and shield I actually got a shiny legendary through the second dlc, with the dynamic adventures or whatever you call them
The rng stuff is really cool but I would say full odds hunting hits a sweet spot like nothing can. 27k encounters for a shiny zubat in hgss and it’s still the coolest shiny zubat that I’ve found. Congrats on the Giratina, looks great in SV

@@mrheisenberg5780 How is it cheating? You aren't modifying any code in the switch or the game or using any hacks.
The softwares simply read the numbers that you give it, and it tells you when to press A.

Dude I also hunted for rayquaza in this game, I destroyed 1 controller purely out of mashing A but it was so worth it
Once, I was doing a Max raid adventure, and I got a SHINY MOLTRES! I got it after the galarian moltres ran INTO ME, and I completed around three moltres raids before hand. I was so excited!

I hunted for my Rayquaza using dynamax adventures in sword and shields crown tundra DLC. Recently also got Kyogre, 1/300 or 1/100 with charm can't pass that up. Being able to capture 4 different Pokemon each den the odds look more like 1/75 or 1/25 with charm!
It took me about 2 weeks worth of soft resetting for getting a Shiny Palkia in Shining Pearl.
And after I beat the league I didn't touch the game
Giratina has always been my dream shiny so knowing I can RNG manip it to get it easier is fun
I tried out RNG manipulation to get a cute charm glitch save of platinum and was shocked at how easy it was. Now I can pretty much have any gen IV or earlier Pokemon with sexes shiny if I want them for playthroughs of later games.
In January 2022, I shiny hunted Regigigas in Brilliant Diamond. It took exactly a month with 2-3 hours of attempts daily. I was absolutely ecstatic, even days after finally catching it.
If you think you had it worse, I shiny hunted Dialga DURING my BD playthrough which I did get after a few days and when I finally caught it, I was relieved after putting my playthrough on hold due to a shiny hunt that was planned in advance 💀
While I did enjoy the game, that part of it became a lot more memorable to me as I went so far with almost no breaks in between, I even got illusions of Dialga being green instead of blue until I saw the actual shiny in the end.

What's made shiny hunting easy for me especially for starters is that I soft reset 10 times then end the session. I'm trying to get a shiny from 1-10 and it's helped me get the starters quickly
I shiny hunted arceus ever since it that update came out and I got it a couple weeks ago in may and I spent so long resetting that I stopped counting in the thousands. If you’re wondering I had to master ball it in order to catch it since it was struggling. I was definitely way over odds since I did the hunt very consistently.
I got him in 600 resets

I actually like bdsp and i am currently shiny hunting palkia in shining pearl.
But brilliant diamond is still better than one of the alternative methods... Going to the crowned tundra... that dialga still haunts me...
My brother got the legit shiny galarian moltres from that event code. He still has it to this day.
I hunted for shiny Ho-Oh in Brilliant Diamond. Finally got him after 13,896 encounters and MONTHS of resetting. Caught it in a luxury ball, and immediately jumped into a Rayquaza hunt. I have no master ball.
Full Odds shiny legendaries always a trip. Ive gotten some in a day (Nihilego and Arceus), some within a week (Celesteela, Lugia), then some torture me for months (Regieleki and Registeel)
I finally got dialga in bd last weekend after about 350 hours worth of hunting for it
I kinda wanna try shiny hunting giratina in bdsp now cuz of how crazy my luck is with him, in go I caught both forms shiny in under 10 raids and I got another shiny in only 7 raids in dynamax adventures

I got my first shiny giratina in platinum at 20 resets. And it was only no resets on the second day and it was sick. But rng manipulation is cool too

I'm still on my full-odds wormhole soft-reset hunt for Mesprit in Ultra Sun, and it's been over 6600 resets in 5 years. I need to actually get back to that so I can finally bring it over to Paldea!

Nice video as always! Totally understand why you rng manipulated it tho. I spent 170 hours hunting my arceus on bdsp, which is like 8k soft resets as the encounters are like 55-65 seconds each.
Damn yesterday i catched it in my 7th reset... Just started latios now and i guess that my luck is over and it will be over 10k encounters
I shiny hunted a shiny regigigas in swsh. I got it, but I don't know how long it took but I think it was around 2-3 days
it took me like 3 days to get a shiny giratina i got it when bdsp came out and i was so happy it was my first shiny legendary i actually got and didnt trade for!
I Hunted shiny GIRATINA for 1 or two weeks now… it starts to burn into my dreams

I’ve hunted for SHINY Latias in Pokémon sword before, with no shiny charm, and I never got it even for a year
I got mine at the first try. Didn't even prepare I looked for fun and it happened to be shiny ._.
Everytime i see a shiny hunt I thank the shiny gods more for my hunt for palkia which I got on my 23rd reset.
Me and my friend just bought bdsp and said when we got to the palkia/dialga encounters we’d shiny hunt them and I would do it on and off once I got there for the next two days. whilst my friend only had about 10 resets I was praying every single encounter for a shiny and then on my 23rd try I was blessed with my beautiful pink palkia, which I named God eater. my friend ended up trying over 100 times, still no shiny dialga and gave up.
I’m still wishing for him the gazillion odds shiny dialga.
I shiny hunted Palkia in SP before I even progressed with the fricken story. Took me about 50 hours.. it was the most annoying and boring shiny hunt I have ever done, even more than Regirock on Sword... which I never did get
I'm currently doing a shiny only professor oak run of BDSP and my Piplup took over 100 hours of soft resetting...
You should’ve done Mewtwo or one of the legendary birds in Let’s Go instead of playing a violation to the Pokémon community
No lie I definitely stopped playing BDSP pretty quickly. Recently I tired again then got turned off when it reset my mystery shard on the Regi when I exited the battle.
I did it last year and i had the most insane luck.
First ever shiny legendary for me aswell and I had only 24-25 soft resets.
For the first 3 sec I couldn’t realize and then it hit me😂
I'm still figuring out RNG Manipulation, there's been a few errors with getting the blink seed which I'm still trying to fix.
Thing is, I have tons of Legendaries I want Shiny in Brilliant Diamond. I've been sitting on the Darkrai and Shaymin events since release to get them Shiny, as well as the Arceus event from beating Legends Arceus.
I’m happy that I got shiny giratina on my 7th reset and I didn’t know that I could do resets but it took 1 day and I was happy bc it was my first shiny in the whole game
i am 88 hours into my darkrai hunt after going 110 hours for arceus :) i never even wanna look at bdsp after this so i get it

I did 4000+ encounters I had no computer or I would've RNG manipulated it. Mine ended up being a XXL one short of XXXL almost got the ribbon lol

I did this hunt a year ago, it took me 11900+ resets for my shiny giratina... its funny seeing 30hours playtime on my save file but then its 180hours playtime on my switch profile XDD
And yes, soft resetting on bdsp is fucking insane, i wanted to shiny hunt arceus too but changed my mind after the giratina hunt
My first every shiny in Pokemon sword was a shiny blacephalon lmao I was hunting it cause I really like it's shiny also the reason that it will be my only shiny is because that I've played sword for over 120 hours and only have one shiny
I spent 3 months soft reseting for giratina in BDSP and never got it.
I’m so glad I wasn’t the only one who cheated a lot when they were younger lol. Of course I regret most of it now but I had a lot of fun at the time and that’s all that really matters
bdsp is AMAZING for shiny legendary and its awesome (its also my favorite pokémon game lol)
Im surprised you said this was easier than the max lair dens (alot of players say its easy) then again... I don't have the best luck. I only got like 8 shines and 3 of them where my target. (Durladon, toganetic, bisharp, palosand, and Jynx) and my targets (tapu fini, tapu lele and creselia)
Also I soft rested for a shiny azelf in ultra sun. Even though i got him, I won't be soft resetting for a shiny for a while. Also i lost ultra sun and i hope to find it again so i can transfer over some shines.

i remember one time i wanted rayquaza in omega ruby but i had used the master ball on Groudon and i was like fuck it premier ball and caught the thing first try very funny moment for me
i hunted this in bdsp as its my fave mon and shiny, i got lucky with 35 resets💀
Yes it rng all the ramas Pokémon it took a day to get all them the longest part was getting all the shard
