Obviously there are some exceptions like Zygarde and Kyogre, but most legendaries are easy enough to hunt for solo imo. The AI will repeat their picks exactly on each soft reset provided that your picks don't change, and with a couple resets you can optimise a consistent route if you think there are good enough picks overall in that route. Imo it's worth soft resetting and paying the ore tax if you find a good, consistent route, and playing solo with no animations saves sooo much time. And if you're hunting something in a rare ball then you might as well find a good route since you'll need to soft reset anyway if you want to keep that ball.

I usually get like a 80-90% winrate on moderate difficulty bosses and almost always win on easy ones like the tapus and ultra beasts, cant be bothered attempting zyguarde solo lmaoo. you can get very consistent with winning even with bad rng.
We should have Tera raid adventures for the upcoming part 2 of the dlc so other legendaries can return and maybe special mythical events and making them shiny huntable (not even a word) for a limited time.

Shinies in this video from DA in order: Cofagrigas, Bellosom, Beartic, Mr. Mime, Lilligant, Glalie, Raichu, Wheezing (Galar Form), Perrserker, Rayquaza, Swampert, Doublade, Fraxure, Manetric. Total Shinies: 14 Regular Shinies: 13 Legendary Shinies: 1

Years ago I lost my legendary Pokémon collection so I played around 90 hours catching every legendary for my collection and got around 3-4 shinies base odds
I cannot believe I found this video! It’s so relatable. I spent probably the same amount of time 100+ hours looking for a shiny Rayquaza. FINALLY found one. I was done with the game after that. I wanted a shiny Ho-Oh and Raikou though
So, I have a small thing to complain about. Around the 13:23 mark in the video, you can hear a Legends Arceus shiny sound, I was playing legends while watching this video and it took me five minutes to realize that the video made the sound. I am deeply upset.
Not too bad! I wasn't keeping track, but in an average amount of attempts, I've gotten 4 shinies, Piloswine, Charmeleon, Uxie, and Arourus (also a Regieleki in like 6 resets, and that's all 5 I've ever gotten in gen 8)
I've gotten some cool shinies off DA but it's just sad when comparing it to the hunting in USUM. I did a dual hunt on US and Shield and by the time I was almost to odds (1292/1365) I was only through (33/100) for DA even though I was clearing it consistently
Fourteen shinies and a hundred hours is really good, But only one shiny legendary in a hundred hours, which is the entire point of the game mode is painful to me
Every time you edit in the shiny sound makes me nearly have a heart attack lol, good video but will you pay for my medical fees, I feel like they're on you /j
I was just playing violet and this video popped on autoplay, so I watched it and thought to myself ¨It would be nice to play Shield and get a random shiny from de DA¨. Thanks to you I am the happy owner of Mango the shiny Ho-oh. That I got in 5 tries :0000.
The dunamax adventures, while being inefficient compared to SV in shiny hunting, is still relevant though because its one of the few places to shiny hunt legendaries effectively. 100 hours for a shiny legendary isnt as bad as a soft reseting for one roll in a 1/1300 odds. Ive seen players soft reset for some legendaries for months. Its even more relevant now because SV legendarues are all shiny locked. Including new dlc.
I tried to get shiny ray for about 20-30 hours. Then i lost my save file. Im back in the dmax adventures cave with rayquaza as my first raid. But I dont have shiny charm, so im working on catching everything again now 😅
I remember grinding this as well as while back and might even come back to it soon. I think I've gotten roughly half of the shiny legendaries as well as lot of other shinies, including sometimes 2 or 3 of the same shiny pokemon. On one occasion I also got 2 shinies in the same run, Skunktank and Thunderus. I took the Thunderus
DA may be the best way to hunt for shinies however, as someone who has no shiny charm, AND im looking for that shiny kyurem this is gonna take a few days to do, so wish me luck!
The only issue with shiny hunting scarlet and violet is the shiny locked bs now I’m playing bdsp and have to start sword dlc dynamax adventures to get shinies and I also want non shinies as well like Galarian birds both forms.

I JUST FOUND A SHINY SUICUNE AS I WAS WATCHING THIS DYNAMAX AFVENTURES
i got all my shiny legends in solo das and my list is: zygarde, kyogre, groudon, reshiram, latias tapu bulu, suicune, entei, raikou, ho-oh, lugia, rayquaza, dialga, creselia, palkia, uxie, mesprit, azelf, tornadus, thundurus, xerneas, tapu koko, pheromosa, necrozma and stakataka
and the ones missing are: a second zygarde, a second thundurus, kyurem, zekrom, solgaleo, lunala, tapu fini, tapu lele, katana, buzzwhole, nihilego, xurkitree, celesteela and guzzlord
so i know how hard it is to get them all but when you know all the little tricks and every thing you need to know about this mini game its super easy
Shinies in this video from DA in order: Cofagrigas, Bellosom, Beartic, Mr. Mime, Lilligant, Glalie, Raichu, Wheezing (Galar Form), Perrserker, Rayquaza, Swampert, Doublade, Fraxure, Manetric.
Total Shinies: 14
Regular Shinies: 13
Legendary Shinies: 1
I’m very glad I got to participate in these
Whoa the Like button doesn't glow but the Subscribe button did! Cool!
My first ever adventure thing I got a shiny mewtwo and went crazy
Im sitting at around 100 runs without any shiny 😢 i was wondering if they patched the chance... But this video gives me hope. I guess ill start a new try on weekend. Cheers mate😊
Did you find something?
@@stevolenzing no nothing. I bought an other expansion pass for my wife's game and im doing two-player runs. For her game the rate seems pretty much like the 1/25. I guess my game file is just super unlucky. And i didn't find a shiny legendary on neither of the switches.
So all i can say is keep grinding boys and girls 😐
@@pvestar23 Damn, that sucks. I'm not lucky either, although I found some shinies after a couple hundred runs, I only managed to get Lugia as a legendary shiny. Meanwhile I bought UM and started wormhole hunting again and already found 3 shiny legendaries. So I will use DAs only for the Tapus, Solgaleo, Lunala and Necrozma. It just takes way too long for me in Shield to get my legendaries
Tsareena spitting eggs from the wawa 😂
Crazy? I was Crazy once…
-Said by a very wise man
Crazy? I was crazy once... They locked me in a room. A rubber room. A rubber room with rats. Rats make me cra/y
I know the feeling of losing sanity. I have been doing solo for so long have all of gen one legends took me a 175 for aticuno. And so far i am almost at a 100 raid for raikou
The guy being timed out and then attacking the teammates is wild. I'm very curious to what he said or did to get timed out, but man. What a dick move to fail your raid.
Years ago I lost my legendary Pokémon collection so I played around 90 hours catching every legendary for my collection and got around 3-4 shinies base odds
i’m glad my pokémon sword character made the video w video btw
I cannot believe I found this video! It’s so relatable. I spent probably the same amount of time 100+ hours looking for a shiny Rayquaza.
FINALLY found one. I was done with the game after that. I wanted a shiny Ho-Oh and Raikou though
So, I have a small thing to complain about. Around the 13:23 mark in the video, you can hear a Legends Arceus shiny sound, I was playing legends while watching this video and it took me five minutes to realize that the video made the sound. I am deeply upset.
You can say what you want about Gen 8 but one thing that can be agreed upon is its soundtrack is an absolute banger
Rayquaza was the first shiny legendary I found in DA too.
That Minecraft Rowlet looks really cool
I have done adventures for days with shiny charm. Never pulled a single shiny from there.
Not too bad! I wasn't keeping track, but in an average amount of attempts, I've gotten 4 shinies, Piloswine, Charmeleon, Uxie, and Arourus (also a Regieleki in like 6 resets, and that's all 5 I've ever gotten in gen 8)
Subscribed because of the poke rap!
Starting with guzzlord is neat because I've beat it 100+ times with no shiny yet
The like button didn’t glow, but the subscribe button did. Not clicking either, but good that you know about it.
I've gotten some cool shinies off DA but it's just sad when comparing it to the hunting in USUM. I did a dual hunt on US and Shield and by the time I was almost to odds (1292/1365) I was only through (33/100) for DA even though I was clearing it consistently
10:26 that wartortle looks shiny
It’s not
It does doesn't doesn't it
Fourteen shinies and a hundred hours is really good, But only one shiny legendary in a hundred hours, which is the entire point of the game mode is painful to me
You should try Dynamax Adventure Speedruns at some point! I’m actually the guy who suggested them as a catagory!
alright fine, I'll replay sword and shield
Yes you should it's a amazing pokemon game
Every time you edit in the shiny sound makes me nearly have a heart attack lol, good video but will you pay for my medical fees, I feel like they're on you /j
(not edited in, that's twitch chat playing a shiny sound channel point redemption)
@@trailspokemon haha well then I'll take twitch chat to court for my medical bills ✨
Hoping that gen 9 has an actually good method to hunt the legendaries cause I am never doing DAs I refuse to do that horrid method
bad news bud
:(
It’s so ironic that his first shiny in dynamax adventures was cofagrigus becuase that was the same first shiny I got from dynamax adventures as well
I tried to get shiny ray for about 20-30 hours.
Wtf the subscribe button actually glows
It's insane how getting actual real people to help you takes a lot longer than with the worst AI known to man.
Despite not getting a shiny I got so lucky when I got an npc to spawn hypnosis and dream eater
DA may be the best way to hunt for shinies however, as someone who has no shiny charm, AND im looking for that shiny kyurem this is gonna take a few days to do, so wish me luck!
I've hunted a ton of legendaries in DA including Kyogre but Zygarde is just rage inducing. The AI is completely useless and randoms aren't much better
The only issue with shiny hunting scarlet and violet is the shiny locked bs now I’m playing bdsp and have to start sword dlc dynamax adventures to get shinies and I also want non shinies as well like Galarian birds both forms.
