Its nice to see that you are more confident in mixing with the locals. And what do you get? The boss belanja you 2 drinks, wow! All you need to do is learn more Bahasa Melayu. Kerabu roughly translated to "mixed salad" so it should be mixed all to get the real authentic texture of Nasi Kerabu. The blue colour comes from the Bunga Telang (Asian pigeonwings flower) essence, added to rice during cooking process. Also, a lot of Malay words, you cannot omit the vowel at the end like Japanese words ie: Kerabu to Kerab, because it will mean something else.

Indeed, it's a good idea to ask the staff for recommendations like that👍
nice ..slowly breaking the iceberg..keep it up
I'm glad to hear that. Will do my best! Thank you👍
Nasi kerabu best with ayam percik or daging/kambing bakar
Thank you for your suggestion😊
You're doing really well when trying to converse in Bahasa Malaysia. Not many people can do that. Plus you look more like the locals now. Probably because you eat too much of our food. Lol.
By the way, i can feel your pain of trying to finish two drinks (sweet one!) after having a full plate of rice. Haha
😂 I'm very honored you said that. Thank you!! I'm glad you could relate. It was more happiness than pain, though👍Haha
Don't be afraid to mix your food around, Samurai~san👌🏻 That’s because Malaysian cuisine is a melting pot of rich cultural colors thanks to our country's multiracial heritage ❤🫰🏻
Got it!! That's why it's so beautiful and flavorful right. Thank you so much for sharing🥰
@SamuraiStayAtHomeDad No problem 😉 Wishing you & your family have the best of life in Malaysia 🇲🇾🫰🏻👍🏻
Welcome to msia 🇲🇾👍
Thank you for your warm welcome🥰
If you drink at the cupp, dont use straw.....
Direct to the cup...because,the ais to be naturalise the sweetnes at the tea..sweet at down, and no taste water ais at upers mug...that why the drink is so sweet...must mix your drink and sweet is lost ..
Noted👍 Thanks!!
Sedap
i was wondering why everyone keep talking in Malay to you, a foreigner until I saw your face. you look a lot like a Malay man. XD
I don't really know why most Japanese will impress or suprise to the blue color , especially in food. But maybe it is because of it is related to gloom or sadness
waaaa biru itu sedih?
padahal biru itu artinya hari yang cerah dan indah
langit biru kan artinya ceria bermandikan matahari
Only one thing for sure, most malaysian food needs to mix first before you eat to get the maximum delicious taste and diversity flavor
"diversity flavor"... sounds nice...!! Noted. Thank you for your comment😊
Terbaik
Terima kasih ya👍
u enjoy food but u still manage to keep your body in shape. Either u walk very much or u exercise regularly.... or both
I recently started running. Living surrounded by delicious Malaysian food, it's easy to find myself gaining some happy weight...😂 Thank you!!
@@SamuraiStayAtHomeDad nice. Exercise is a must here since the foods are usually irresistible 😂😂😂
You can actually take away the drinks (means bring the teh home) instead of finishing it all at the shop.
Thank you!! It was delicious, so I finished drinking it😉
If you didn't speak, 100 % people will think that you are Malay👍❤️😁
That is truly an honor😂🥰 Thank you very much.
Yes. A Malay with good looking face 😄.
This is my firs time watching this channel. And, you look like Malaysian. In my opinion.
Its rare for me to see japanese with beard.
I am honored. I'll say "Saya orang Jepun" more often. Thank you for watching my channel😊
😁 me be like : YESSSS! That is how you eat in south east Asia ! mixed it !!! You may choose to mixed it in your mouth 1spoon of rice 1spoon of side dish (lauk) and a bit of "sambal" i.e. gravy then you chew it up!! umami !! Umaiiiiiiiiii 😂
