People say you're amazing for your upload consistency but I'm more amazed by your ability to maintain interesting diverse builds every single day.
I'm also amazed by his skills, this ER channel just hits different.
I dont even play this game anymore and i still watch this channel because its truly impressive!
He's been like this since at least dark souls 3 lol
Idk why he no stream tho
@@robertcranbert8412 He did some streaming on youtube before. There were some funny footages not included in the highlights as well.
"You need to back up and let me heal sir, its part of the build" 😂😂
😂
Wizards mentioned at least 11 times:
02:38 On the Wizard way
03:05 Dodge the Wizard
03:23 You know, we tanked all of those Wizardries
09:52 The host is a Wizard with dual spears
13:02 Oh my god its a Wizard, what in the- Wizard
13:18 I like how I buff myself with a physical defense when I'm about to fight a Wizard
13:27 Here you go Wizard
19:36 A couple of Wizards, oh this is more than a couple Wizards
19:52 Wizards and their 700 hp
Since I started counting there were 2115.7 mentionings of Wizards across 171 videos.

You’re doing God’s work son... 🙏
never. stop. counting.
Frenzyflame stones can take a full duration to madness some people which is probably why they didn’t go mad. You can see the flames coming out of their eyes if you look close enough (if they’re susceptible to madness, that is)
"Wow wow he did it! After I healed all of them. The dishonesty." 😂😂
Always amazed by 20-30 vigor players. Actually funny when I see Lost come across them on his lvl 200 invasions
I'm level 150 with 30-35 I do fine
@@cptfreeman8966 found the mage host who only 3v1s
@@cptfreeman8966 nah
There are no glass cannon builds in this game, if you don't invest into vigor, you're just glass.

The unupgraded winged scythe was funny. Almost makes me want to see you use this build but with only unupgraded weapons XD
I had no idea it was un upgraded until i was editing. I thought it something was strange when using it lmfao
@@ChaseTheBroI thought you were doing it just so you could meme with the warming stone in his face, since it wouldn’t have healed him.
@@ChaseTheBro I knew you weren't doing it on purpose. XD But was funny (not for them, ofc)
@@ChaseTheBroUn upgraded is fun, especially martial arts with bleed and catch flame in off hand
Bro was trying to get a DS3 back stab and got Elden Ring back stabbed 💀
That host was so fucking annoying to watch. Would literally just aggro to Chase and walk up to him even when he knew an AOE was coming, all to backstab fish. I have never seen such a dumb host
Been going strong for too long. Keep up the videos. Hopefully a death sorcery build soon? 🤔
Death sorcery build would be a fun watch.
I really wish they were more generally viable
@@michaelmorgan8508hope to see more Briar, Death and Magma sorceries in dlc
@@Aksilyrat Add sleep sorceries to that list brother.
When the end of the world comes, I’ll have to sit down and tell my family I need 15-20min. ChaseTheBro just did the St.Trina’s torch build.
I have literally watched so much Chase over the years that I know all the different tones of voices he uses for different scenarios 😂
"Uh uh, uh uh uh" 😂
I watch several other ER content creators, and you are my favorite by miles. Your positivity is infectious, and you are such a good sport. You never complain and you don't talk trash about casual players. I respect that a lot! Ive been watching you for several years! I also like the fact that you and Lost seem to be buddies, hes a fun creator that I like to watch as well. Happy New Year CTB!
He kind of used too in dark souls 3 lol. I stumbled on his old videos and was surprised to hear him talking shit and cussing players out a little bit. I'm kind of traumatized by it😂
11:54 Chase uses his health flask for the first time
that invasion with the dude spamming bhs. absolutely hilarious.
mage bhs is crazy
Would love to see an int/faith hybrid caster with both the golden order incantations and the death sorceries, maybe with sword of night and flame as a melee option
Death sorceries work the best if you go to 80int with the minimum faith needed and cast them with Renalla's or Lusat's staff instead of the hybrid ones.
I saw that video too
@@lharsay honestly not really interested in what "works best", just wanna see chase get creative and make it work, at RL 200 with like 60int and faith it would probably do good damage
Omg this is my exact build rn
Golden order seal and prince of death staff, using both magic and incants+ sonaf
This is a fun one, nice! Have you ever done a Black Knife Assassin build? Would love to see one in the future!
So it might sound stupid but the icon shield is actually more handy to have than many people give it credit for. 3hp/s is not.. great.. considering late game. But the amount of invaders, and bosses I’ve been able to avoid getting murdered by because I gained 3hp at the most critical time is actually fairly plentiful. I typically carry it on my back in the world while I’m exploring. Keeps the flask usage down a little bit. Keeps ya goin when you need it.
It’s worth at least a teensy bit of respect for being a handy tool if not a great shield.
5:10 they didn’t have the madness ending one sure way to tell is if you see there eyes glowing yellow means they are building up madness instead there is also a sound queue for it too sounds like something bringing in a oven
Max regen, heavy armor and more ashes of war to spam than a mage has spells. I hope you play the spiritual successor to this build next, the nightmare build. Sleep xbow bolts and sleep sword with sleep pots. Add in frenzy miracles. Mainly since you did the lung cancer that was this build, you could then do the colon cancer of a frenzy sleep build.
I think that build is more like brain cancer lol
I like how you used an unupgraded winged scythe multiple times just to stop them from healing. I think there's a pot that can do the same thing. Might be worth having since we don't see you using the lightning pots too often lately.
"Warming stone to black flame tornado true combo" 😂😂😂
Would you ever try a 300 level build just for funsies? Nice vid man!
Chase at lvl 300 would be disastrous
Pretty sure he has a couple of videos at 300
Late happy New Years chase! Your videos regen my faith in an Elden ring dlc soon (Btw ur winged scythe was unupgraded lol)
theres also the dew talisman and the bastard stars - put prayerful strike on it and you've got a solid chunker, if a bit slow. prelate's charge on that workes really well too, and is a solid counter to melania.
regen build on ds3 was my best build for duels. People got real tilted at it. Also faith got bonkers damage with lightning in there. So fun to play a paladin cause people just really hated any heals in duels, but like, it's a strat especially when so many people tried playing spellblades running in with heat till they get hit then off to try and cast projectiles. Pretty funny also to use the little arenas like the one with fallen pillars to run away and heal. I miss that game.
I like it when you are “taking it slow”. You dismantled them in every way possible then they quit out. Having a whole video about that would be awesome. Keep it up👍👍
Nothing like a little warmth during this winter
This is literally MY BUILD!!! Thank you Chace for showing everyone the power of REGEN!!!
prelates charge also works well as an ash as it heals for each damage tick they are caught in the ash, as long as its on the great stars hammer or the butchers knife
prelates charge is dogshit. Joke aow
There is a follow -up heavy to Golden Land; your close quarters combat would really instant kill them. Keep it up with the vids, Chase!
Chase I’ve been watching your content for 5-6 years. Recently got elden ring and started watching the content all the time again. Keep it up man you deserve a lot more subs on UA-cam, maybe try incorporating shorts to boost ur exposure.
Ghostflame build is so much fun, specially with my personal go to weapon the Death's Poker!!
Ghostflame is awesome! I use helphens steeple! My favorite in ds3 was the onyx blade so it's so perfect lol
I've been playing a lot recently with off-hand caestus setups, paired with straight sword, morning star, etc. Its really good for dealing with people mashing out of hitstun, just R1, L1, R1, L1, and maintain priority indefinently, as you never need to use the 2nd r1 with reduced poise damage. It looks kinda nostalgic too because of DS3s caestus parry meta. Not sure this setup is worthy of a dedicated vid, but I thought I'd mention it.
Prayerful strike is a good option too especially with great stars
the golden land butchering knife i started using naturally and learned it healed, funny to see you do the same thing. it is a pretty solid exploring weapon and golden land projectile range is actually insane, similar to a bolt of gransax charged up ash. also you can put prayerful strike on the sacrificial axe dual wield with a sacred infusing and heal yourself and your teammates if any with each use of the ash, while also recovering FP on kills. This is a good way to team fight bosses actually cuz you do dmg and heal every1 at the same time.
19:01 by the sound he made while dying that ain't malenia thats MANlenia
The way I audibly screamed out "uuuWHAT?!" at 11:26
Your builds are simultaneously creative and terrifying, which is pretty inspiring tbh
Ur the friendliest invader Chase! Happy new year :D
I am wondering, Can you try a fun dual wield Spiked Palisade Shield with bleed build?
I walked around with that for a while and if you get good controle over it, it is hilarious to fight with.
Is there any non fashion reason to dual wield shields instead of 2 handing them?
Giving Chase the blasphemous blade should be a war crime
Those two in the corner by the door were getting madness build up, you could tell by the eye burning effect on the yellow when you stood next to him. Seems a pretty useful “you can’t stand here” tool.
You could have also used that armour set you get from that invader which invades you at the roundtable hold when you get the haligtree medallion
I was thinking about that too, but looking at the wiki it only takes effect at below 18% HP.
It only regens when your Basically 1 hit at rl he is invading at
16:08 OMG he tried to shield bash! He’s literally my hero.
Regen builds are really fun in pve, I’ll need to try in PvP sometime.
I just melted someone in my first PVP Invasion. Subscribed to your channel also. Your helpful and hilarious 😂
funny enough since golden land takes the effect of the weapon if you use golden land with a grease that has status effects (bleed, frost, poison etc.) the AoW will also apply it too, I tend to use it on a great club cuz it’s funny but the build up isn’t much (unless you dedicate a status build utilizing the power of golden land)
Awesome moves! Just found your channel, you have so many videos. Do you ever think you could make a compilation video or two or your personal favorite builds and/or of best fights? Would really help people get a handle on what your channel is really about.
Chase: Posts a new build vid
Everyone: Immediately starts invading with the build
Also everyone: Isn't Chase
heres a build im doing, full serpent theming wearing the full duelist set with the weapons in the left being in order, coiled shield, serpent gods curved sword with either no skill/skill of your choice or i personally have fun with parry for the gladiator theme, and than your choice of either the serpent bow with serpent arrows for the deadly poison ranged procs OR you could go full serpent since the coiled shield already is actually a REALLY good deadly poison procing weapon and go with the gelmir staff and magama sorceries. As for your right hand weapons, serpent gods curved sword with poison moth flight and specifically on the occult infusion cause the poison infusion only does normal poison and so is not a good idea with using the poison moth flight when a persons deadly poison is about to run out is the best call with than the serpent devouring scepter, and than lastly, your choice of either the venomous fang with lifesteal fist or the blasphemous blade tho personally i would say the fists are better for a starting the fight type weapon to get in and with the coiled shield hit them with deadly poison before than swapping to your serpent god curved swords with the parry and poison moth flight for the general fight with higher dmg weapons with the venom fang only getting pulled out if you wanna hit them with lifesteal fist while the blasphemous blade is just flat out broken and strong as hell. beyond this you would go with all the magma sorceries of course and with your talismans being the takers cameo, the godskin swalding cloth, and than your choice of the black knife talisman for hp back on critical hits, millicents prothesis, or the dragoncrest greatshield talisman, and than lastly another choice between the bullgoats talisman, the wingsword insignia/ millicents prothesis if you didnt pick it on the last one, or the black knife talisman if you didnt pick it for the last one.
“Of course they’re using L2”, while priming an even more powerful one-shot L2
Relatable
Guard counter build would be interesting. Self-block guard counter of colossals roll-catch, claw guard blocks are uncharged r2 speed for charged r2 damage, etc.
I also have the madness ending, I feel it’s the hardest to go for with how convoluted it is so it’s pretty much everyone’s end game achievement, and in pvp there’s no downside to having it
love your vids man.
just started playing elden ring and found these entertaining and actually pretty informative.
the invasion against the two backstabbers was fun as hell
The great stars and butcher knife both heal 2%hp, which doesn't sound like much but dual wield or slap prelates charge or anything else that hits multiple times and it definitely makes a difference
That dual hammer guy's rolls crack me up 😂😂
Could use prayerful strike too.
Work beautiful with hyper armor and holy ground damage reduction
I love your kind sportsmanship, its easily my favorite part of these videos.
I know it's not very good but I was hoping to see at least one use of Prayerful Strike in this build just for fun!
Its a very good PvE AoW for this type of build, I go 60/40 on vigor and endurance with Morgotts rune, I use it with great stars, bestiality incantation and various FP regen items, cerulean dagger, ancestral horn, off handing sword of milos and swapping sacrificial axe in if I need FP more than HP
I call it the "completionist build" because its GREAT for sustaining full level exploration especially in the end game and doing NPC side quests......
And also because I feel like I am embezzling a bunch of excessive and unnecessary resources as a safety net that could be going to much more underprivileged tarnished in need ;)
(dont worry I'll donate it in ten years 🤞)
I enjoy this regen build quite a bit. Would have been funny to see some poison come out though.
As for the lvl through pvp series, a fun challenge could be a no damage-stat run - just vigor, endurance and mind.
You can get your stats pretty high with talismans and buffs anyway.
I’m starting a run like this shortly myself, so I’ll let you know if I think it’s worthy of the series.
Catch ya next time!
must not have been worthy
@@periwinkle2486 it wasn’t as bad as I thought, you can get pretty far just with talismans. Worth a watch? Probably not.
Whenever this guy invades you, a boss health bar should pop up with his name on it
This build blew me away. Wow, Chase. Keep being awesome.
This would have been the perfect build to try "Prayerful Strike" with. Best Regen attack besides Blasphemous Blade, especially on the great stars hammer. Great content as always bro.
I mean, the Frenzy Flame is the more unique ending so of course most people are going to get it. Especially on the game's release you'd be surprised how many people basically trip over it. And since the way to remove it is pretty out of the way during Millicent's Questline, people just roll with it.
"it's part of the build sir truly" lol you are the soulsborne GOAT.
your videos are always great
Hey Chase! Love your videos! Been watching for years! Have you ever used the godskin swaddling cloth talisman? It says to restore 30 hp + 3% for successive attacks.
The fact that you feel you deserve courtesy.
Chase! Have you ever done a Flail build? Single or duel handed would be dope to see, maybe a bleed flail?
My first playthrough was entirely using a very similar build, except I offhanded the clawmark seal for some magical cavegirl action. Thing was beyond cursed, specially in pvp since pocket sand + regen is insanely unfun to deal with.
honestly, chase deserves somethink from fromsoftwere, like a red badass invader statue whit his name❤❤❤❤
Watching this stuff is really funny. Somewhere, somehow, the people who get crushed probably complain about "hackers" or something
This game has a lot of weird fun shields. Have you ever thought of doing a shield build? Ds3 had the door shields which were a meme, but I think you could get a lot of content with maybe the visage shield or maybe a poison build with that serpent shield.
Maybe a palisade shield crash build would be nice too.
With a cold infusion, a successful trade would probably end a fight then and there with winged insignia and jar shard.
Fighting with the shield's block frames would also probably make it great at trading in general.
For a laugh, try using Holy Ground while under active Last Rites (from the Golden Epitaph); I think it works best with the Golden Order Totality gesture.
Imagine being new to Elden Ring and being invaded by Chase on his Regen/Blasphemous Blade build day.
There are 3 other ways of regen you didn’t mentioned :
1) weapon : the great stars is a great hammer with natural bleed build up that, in the same way as the butchering knife, heals you for 1% of your total hp per hit but because it’s similar to the weapon you use, it doesn’t really matter which one you take
2) ash of war : prayerful strike is an ash of war where you take you weapon on your shoulder, then slam it on the ground and when landed on an enemy heals you for 30% of your max hp
3) talisman : that on regen talisman you can get in Leyndel through a trap chest in the weeping peninsula that heals you 2hp/ sec
well i doubt prayerful strike holds much weight in pvp, as it's not a large aoe like blasphemous but with a lengthy startup thats makes it too difficult to land
5:28 lmaooooooo that was satisfying to watch
You don't have to get the Frenzied Flame ending, just get naked and open that door.
I don’t pvp so sorry for this stupid question, but isn’t Great Star better than the weapon your currently have atm?
You could have used Prayerful Strike and Holy Ground as well - Strike heals 30% of your max HP on hit iirc while Holy Ground creates an additional regen AoE that buffs your defense
Wait this build is actually kinda sick - hope you do more
Its funny how the last guy saw one of his phantoms die and knew he didn't have the skill to win so he just left lmao
Just a heads up, Blackflame protection reduces healing of ALL FORMS
Heavily damaging the effectiveness of every type of regen your running
Instead, go for protection of the erdtree
This will boost all your holy fire lighting magic etc negation up to about 60% + endure and your at 80% for all negation including about 70% physcial
You may be better off just sticking with endure for your ash of war
Using a bit of your charged heavy strategy from other builds + Endure
Will mean you just endless take less damage
Meaning all your regen becomes twice as effective as your only taking HALF the damage youve been taking in this video to regen back in the first place
Pair this regen strategy with another from a previous build
Never knew that shield had health regen passive. I really wanted to use it because it looks cool. Might just stick it on my back like you do here for cosmetic reasons…the small health regeneration at least gives it some non cosmetic reason.
Chase never fails to fill me up with the erdtree
The Great Stars with Prayerful Strike is pretty good too for this type of build too.
Near grace site, gets outclassed, quits out. Near grace site, gets outclassed, fog walls. My God, take advantage of a highly skilled player, try a killer move, see what he does, learn from him. Goddamn.
quick tip, if you didn't do the frenzied flame ending you can still go hug the three fingers under the sewers so you can use the stone
I've been doing something similar since the games release. Never knew it would actually in a spotlight for once 😁
Can we all agree man’s is an absolute unit for building a Wolverine healing factor into his build 🎉
Looks like everyone had the madness ending.
The royal remains set also restores 2hp/s per armor piece equipped
If I got a nickel for every time someone panic rolls after taking a full black flame tornado only to get roll caught by the final spin, I'd be Scrooge McDuck.
I'm amazed by your way to enjoy the game. I have so much fun watching your videos coz YOU have a lot of fun doing them. People tend to forget this is just a videogame. Although I guess is easy to do that when you are so good at it😅
yeah, it's a cat playing with a mouse, of course it's fun for him lol
ChaseTheBro is ALSO basically immortal, whether naked or tanked up. GGs man!!
Blasphemous Blade L2 multi kills are a thing of beauty
Also tornados 🤣
Prayerful strike also gives you 30% health back with the ash of war. (For axes and hammers)
Bro you are a legend for these. Ive run a build similar to this. Very fun
Lifesteal could technically have applied to this, I suppose! :) This was great. Need a good PvE build, myself. I''m trying to make it through NG, got to Faram Azula and things just started kicking my butt. Oof.
