One detail regarding Control rules: in North Africa you can control tiles even if there are enemy units in it. You are only unable to control a tile if there are enemy units in it AND the enemy controls it - which doesn't happen in this scenario. So Lincoln didn't *have* to take out the Gunner first, he could have tried to run in and Control the tile even with the Gunner in it. Great game regardless, very intense!
I love this one, much more than Normandy. It offers a lot of options and the decision at the beginning whether to sacrifice a card to get initiative is a really nice touch. Also, the emphasis on mobility and position is really great, it illustrates how important these are in actual combat.
Candle Light Date Night aka All’s fair in the Fog of Love (is a game) and Fog of War; and color-coded RotLA hockey jersey. A rare instance a war game uses square tiles instead of hex tiles or maps. However you don't move very far. @24:20 the best thing about hearing a bullet wizz past your head is you know it didn’t hit you. @43:25 Triple Zeros! but @52:10 double 0’s and double 9’s wins the battle. (Aliens Another GloriousDay in the Corp’s d10 has a star on one side which might look more militaristic but 0’s look cool in this game.) She made a comeback but I’m also surprised she won.
Don’t forget to remind people that sometimes YT will in subscribe so do check the bell. They did it to me and that was annoying. Thanks for keeping up the good work!
I'd love to see you play Undaunted as a 4 player game on Gamenight! I've been wondering whether to buy it for my group of 4 gamers, but I'm Undecided about Undaunted!
Spotted several times when you counted the range from the wrong vehicle. The Machine Gunner was in the vehicle that stayed farther back. The similarity of the vehicle names couldn't have helped.
Doc, I get my jerseys from Geeky Jerseys. They are pretty awesome. If the one I'm wearing isn't available you give them your email address to be notified when they open preorders for another run. -Lincoln
Love your guys videos. Love the interaction between you two. I'm blessed to have a partner to play board games with, she actually reminds me a bit of Nikki P! (what's the P for?) Same sort of attitude and funky hair and pulls the same faces lol! Unfortunately I'm not as cool as Lincoln lol!
Love these videos. Just curious if it was summer ending that ended all your fun Twitch streams that eventually migrated here or some other reason. You two are great but it was fun to see the whole gang too.
When you remove your Scout token, I think you should't remove then from supply, you could bring then back on board with boolster again. No matter that, great video, thx
That's true for Normandy, but works differently in North Africa! In NA when a counter is removed from the board they are out for good, even if you still had cards in the supply.
@@Kolvarg Thematically why did they make that change? The original way makes a lot of sense to me: you can reform a rifle squad from bits and pieces in the repple depple. Why have a "supply" at all in this case?
@@chessthecat in Normandy the cards represent individual soldiers within a squad whereas North Africa the card represents a hit point for 1 soldier (This is why the cards for say "gunner" all have the same soldier name) Once you have destroyed all available cards for that soldier he's dead.
So Nikki is the new Desert Fox. It loos like a fun game. Nikki, Lincoln said you are watching The Queen's Gambit. Let us now how you like it when you are finished watching it.
Love these people. Great teachers and wonderful personalities.

Thanks! There are so many to see, we hope you continue to have fun watching them. -Lincoln

Rodney can play Combat Commander with Lincoln! :)
Great video to watch after our first play to clarify rules. Loved this game, can’t wait to dig in more.
Glad you enjoyed it!-Lincoln

Love that Indiana Jones jersey.
I'm a bit sad. It looks like Nikki spent all her high rolls during rules explanation. See? They DO run out! Math means NOTHING! 😉 Yay turn-around!

They will still be coming onto UA-cam. Keep an eye out this weekend! -Lincoln
@@boardgamegeek Yay! Given the dates, you'd almost caught up when they stopped is why I asked.
Hmm should I sell Normandy and buy North Africa? Looks very tempting. Another great vid guys!
NO. Firstly because they are different enought o both have a place and second because an expansion that is for both of them I on its way....
I think it was a combination of New Zealand 🇳🇿 and Australia 🇦🇺 in the North Africa.
It was commonwealth troops from all parts of the empire.
