Thank you! (I am the Gardener/designer :) ) About the question at the end: the art and icons are all from the computer game. A teaser: we will release free (modifiable and redistributable) 3D files for all the zones. A small correction, see page 3 of the rulebook: "Important: In each city district, you are not allowed to construct more than one utility building" (you placed two in one district). Tip for utilizing the roles more and increasing flexibility: Try to exchange many cards at the end of milestones, you will build up your effective hand size very quickly.
Congrats on making such a fun game. I'm a Cities fan and a big fan and couldn't be happier for its tabletop implementation, which I always thought to be impossible
"...we have recorded a large number of videos before the current epidemic." Why YES you have!!!!! I really do appreciate the many videos you continue to publish week after week. Thanks for the great entertainment week after week while we continue to stay indoors . Stay healthy & stay safe team. And as always, keep up the great work.
Lines of longitude on a map are typically depicted as vertical lines to the viewer’s conventional viewing angle. Lines of latitude are typically horizontal (even though latitude is used for measuring vertical positions). Therefore, the instructions probably should have said “latitudinal flip” instead. They thought they were so smart with that wording but actually they sort of got it wrong. Of course this is a super nerdy nit pick from a Civil Designer.
Just playing with the game and there is a specific rule which was here avoided as far as I can tell: "In Cities: Skylines Board Game, when upgrading to a level 2 service building, it must be placed in the same district as the level 1 building. This ensures that the progression of services remains consistent within that district." However you built all the level 2 and level 3 services in other districts than the 1st level. This made your gameplay way-way easier.
I still struggle in solo mode, because of this rule: "In Cities: Skylines Board Game, when upgrading to a level 2 service building, it must be placed in the same district as the level 1 building. This ensures that the progression of services remains consistent within that district." It is because as soon as I get to level 3 for any service that district is almost full, so I cannot place the level 3 one anywhere so valuable effect (like -4 crime) cannot be applied therefore causing a lot of negative points at the end and stuck with building that need crime to be placed.
Not a lot, from what they have been saying during live shows. I believe this is the final game with Rodney and there may be a couple more left with Aaron.
I think they are reading the employment incorrectly. Positive numbers appear to mean unemployment and negative numbers mean over employment. If you are creating a commercial zone, you are creating jobs and that is indicating a negative.
I noticed this too! Towards the beginning when they had a lot residential and were in the positive but said they had too many jobs I was thinking "that doesnt make any sense".
Josh, I buy them from geekyjerseys.com. I am resisting buying a few that I really like right now. Must, be, strong. Thanks for the note and for watching.-Lincoln
Does anyone know a way for the game to be more competitive ? So other players have a interest in playing and winning for themselves. It's hard to find someone to coop and also be interested to play again and again; since the game takes long and is hard to complete. On the other hand, solo is tough and I couldn't finish any game. Maybe having two players controlled by me, so more cards would be available, is a solution... or just draw more cards for myself (and roles). And surely more money! I always end with 0 and the game is over... Maybe the game should have other rules to make it more fun.
American school system in all its glory; Being impressed with the word "longitudinal" and assuming the viewers will also hear it for the first time. :p
As long as I say I am following lockdown rules I can continue life as normal and the virus will definitely be fooled! I love your content but you're all over 40 and are hardly athletes. Apologies for negativity, big but concerned fan.
Luke, the intro is 100% accurate. This is one of the last videos we filmed prior to lockdown in March and the last we filmed with Rodney and Aaron. If you look at other GameNight! videos we are releasing those include only Nikki & me and we have been filming those recently. We are almost out of videos with a group so you won't be seeing any more videos like these until we are over self isolation. We have seen almost no one for over 6 months so we are taking this seriously. Thanks for your concern. Take care and thanks for watching. -Lincoln

Always great seeing Rodney with you guys. Thanks for all the videos and entertainment

So glad you guys are still uploading these vids. Gives me a much needed reprieve in these strange times. Thank you!
Aaron!!!!!!!!! Woooooooooo! Don't even care if the game is any good, I will watch every minute!

We love this game - glad to see a video showcasing it!
I just started watching Rodney's channel, then a notification came up with this game, and I ws surprised Rodney is here also hehehe
Nice to see Aaron again!! Im still rooting for our fantastic four reunion again.

Always been curious of this game as I'm a fan of the videogame. Time to learn what it's like :)
I love this game so much, super stoked that you made a video for it :)
Great to see Aaron back
Such a fantastic game, will have to get this one...
It's on like Donkey Kong. Love the DK sweater. Trivia Mario was named Jumpman. Before he had an agent lol
Aaron’s back! Ya dancer! 🥳🎉🍾
If you don't mess up in board games, you aren't playing enough.
I think this is the first city planning game I like.
Just playing with the game and there is a specific rule which was here avoided as far as I can tell:

Thanks for uploading all these vids, stay safe!
You only start with $12 if you're playing the intro game. If you add any additional rules, you would ordinarily start with $10.
Imagine the stress teaching a game to Rodney 😂
😂😂😂
Great video. We have really been interested in this one.
One of my favourite solo games ❤

Wow I didn't realize you filmed so much in advance! how much of a backlog do you guys have left?
Not a lot, from what they have been saying during live shows. I believe this is the final game with Rodney and there may be a couple more left with Aaron.
a like for Aaron
I'm usually looking for digital versions of boardgames and this is the opposite! Cool!
This game looks awesome.
The game end was a bit anticlimactic, but I still enjoyed this video.

Does anybody have a playlist of playtroughs featuring Rodney Smith?
Lincoln.....where do you get your hockey jerseys?
Josh, I buy them from geekyjerseys.com. I am resisting buying a few that I really like right now. Must, be, strong. Thanks for the note and for watching.-Lincoln
At the end of the first part of the game, you forgot to pay for the terrain you flipped, I'm I wrong?
"Goodbye statistician, you're boring"... gee thanks Rodney :'(
Is this co-op Terraforming Mars, for the most part?
It is not similar to Terraforming Mars in any way.
Have you listened to the video?
\(^O^)/ WOOOOOOOOOOOT FOR AARON. THE OG!

Wouldn't it be latitude? Just me?
Yup.-Lincoln
First
this game does not look like fun at all
