@@kalegillis5161 thanks for watching! That's a tough one; the 660 was one of my favorite quads of all time when I was younger. I think I'd go with a well built 400ex because they handle much better and they're nimble, but raptors have so much torque they're so much fun; it's a toss up depending on the mood I'd say.
👏👏 Now that was awesome to watch! Love seeing all the original parts restored and brought back to life. Choosing between the KFX and the 426 is gonna be tough lol I can’t wait to see the Harley build! 🤘 best wishes for a speedy recovery on your shoulder 🙏
There is nothing better that I enjoy then to watching an old one brought back to life. You make it look easy, but I know it isn’t. Great video with a lot of information.
I had torn rotator cuff, the recover and physical therapy were torture mentally for me. But in the end im much stronger and healthier physically and mentally. Dont let yourself get down during recovery! Another awesome build on the 400! 🤘
Awesome video sir! Glad to know that I'm not the only one that misses components and has to go back and take stuff apart again and again! Once, I was actually putting together an aftermarket 400ex clutch basket, and had everything correct, and then while explaining it in the the video, I flipped the plate and secured it on backwards. I didn't even notice it until I was editing the video and had to pull the whole clutch side back apart and do it all over again!
Dude!! I've done that too lol; I had to split the bottom end of the KFX and put in a washer for the transmission; watching my own video saved my ass 😂 I appreciate the kind words man!
Michael you done an amazing job on that quad that's been sitting for that long. Love your passion for doing rebuilds. I wish I had your knowledge and skills. Would love to have that quad knowing it was built by you. I hope your surgery goes well and recovery goes quickly for you keep up the awesome work.

Ps, the new logo may be best suited w the MS in black and the Michael Sabo in white (opposite). None the less, I dig! Peace brother!!
The 400EX is the most dependable quad I have ever owned. Bought one new in 2000, I still have it basically all original even down to the brake pads. Air filters oil changes and batteries is the only thing I have ever done to it. It is not my favorite quad, but if you want to go for a ride and not risk breaking down it's my best choice.
@@andrewstahl6916 at that point in time it was the first new sport quad released in over a decade. Soon thereafter there were many better choices. Until recently there used value was almost nothing, so there was no point in parting with a clean low hour machine.

Great build. Plus I appreciate you keeping parts still good. As a penny pincher it drives me nuts when people replace a bunch of good parts just cuz they can afford or for bragging rights so I applaud you.
UA-cam recommended this video, makes me miss my 400ex so bad. I traded a zero turn for it, was told it was bored over, jet kit, upgraded piston, etc. He said it was a “440ex” not sure if that’s a thing but it was stupid fast, speedometer app I had on my phone clocked it at 79mph before letting off halfway thru 5th gear. I appreciate that Dave!
I just bought my 99’ 400ex 2 weekends ago and I’m so happy to fix it and get it running
Crazy video! Great job. Sometimes you come across a "barn find" thread or FB post and think "I'd love to see the 'AFTER' of that refurb!" and usually you don't get to. Amazing job bring back a nice machine. All around quality sport quad content Sabo 👍
Nice build Mike! Isnt that aggravating as hell when you get something put together and then having to go back and tear it apart again….We’ve all been there brother
I don't ride. I don't build. I still seem to find myself loving every one of these videos.
Wow! What a build! Turned out very nice.
I watch all your content and enjoy each and everything you post . You have come a long way keep it coming
I'm going to have to say that your yard looks impeccable . Nice job on the quad , I also am a lover of all things dirt or anything with a motor !
I really like your graphics designs and how you let us know everything you change! Very informative
This is easily the best project you’ve done to date. Maybe do a tecate next!
Oh man, a Tecate would be crazy to do!
Awesome work, 400ex my favorite 4 stroke machine.
Dude ur a beast I'm on my 3rd-4th video can't stop watching the work the hard work and result is Redick
I respect the amount of cleani g and refreshing you do to all the parts. Keep it up
This is awesome! Havent seen any other youtuber put this much work into a build. Great job man
Absolutely beautiful restoration, glad to see a 400ex brought back to life! With the hood scoop it kinda gives 250r vibes!
Be nice to have a quad built by M.S all the videos I've seen they look like masterpieces when he's finished with them.. Nice job bro👍
400 came out awesome, great work Sabo!
Amazing transformation..Great job Mike.
Man everyting from the build to the comedy. 5 stars bro
Your real good at this fairplay she fired right up and was ticking over nice job well done👍🏻
That skit at the start had me dying because i do be convinced someone took the spanner i left down and can't find 😂 small tip for the valve insert tool, lock it in a vice real tight and you can use both hands to work on installing the spring and that. Great video as always man 👍
Dude... thats a great idea putting it in the vise; I never thought of that!
huge fan of what u do from puerto rico i learn a lot seeing youre videos i want to thank you
Michael, you are realist keeping in mind sharing tips and strategies on keep costs down while meet the goal.... incredible resurrection of a new ride. I came across your videos a couple years ago trying to help friend restore his Blaster and I been hooked ever since on what you have to show.
Recovery from surgery will take time to heal, but I am sure you will be coming up with some new ideas for future videos. Love that design for decals, very impressive.
