Ayyee!! Super cool indeed! Thanks To Yamaha for still making sports quads in which I just brought a 2024 Raptor 700R Today! And I shouted you in the video I just uploaded Pete! I hate imma miss ya at Carolina Adventure World! Thanks for bringing us this experience! Definitely interesting being I just converted to Yamaha! Lol I do hope such an informational video like this motivates other companies to start making sports quads again! Thanks for all you do!
@PeteHager appreciate cha Pete! I got alooot of trail cleaning up to do having been out of action for almost 3 years! Lol aaand it rained 1 inch last night! I'm acting like a girl trying to keep it clean for a while! 😂😂😂
I am a truck, driver, and I have been all over this country. I haul anything and everything on a open flatbed, and I do have to say that I have been to that facility and deliver there before. It’s pretty cool, I had a load of steel tubing on. So while I was getting unloaded, I got a tour of the production line and how everything works and I do have to say it was quite an experience.
So cool to see where my 21 Raptor 700 came from. Yamaha deserves all the credit in the world for keeping new sport quads in production since 1987. Glad I bought one I love it.
facts bring back the 2 cylinder 350cc 2 stroke god dam, yamaha, i would say fuk regulation but they cant... atleast most thing now must have X things that they didnt have to have in 1987... but so sad to see yam only ones still making and suporting SPORT quads..
its impossible...the emissions laws are wayyyyy too strict...Plus, the raptor 700 is MUCH faster with more usable and broad power and is SOOO much better handling, with much better steering, insanely good suspension, super reliable engine with EFI, and reverse.
It wouldn’t be impossible for them to make one KTM still makes a two-stroke. It would just have to be like a banshee with fuel injection. And oil injection.
@@Shadow0fd3ath24 Is this guy on something 😂 the banshee is 30 years younger than the raptor ofc the raptor has better steering but imagine a new banshee that’s the fastest thing in glamis
It's so cool that Yamaha invited you. It makes me appreciate Yamaha even more. Now, someday, I will have ether yfz450r or a Raptor hard to choose cause never ridden either of them, lol. I can't wait to see more riding vids and can't wait to ride with all of yall
Awesome video Pete! You did a great job of documenting the whole process even with the high speed of the tour. I’m an engineer for John Deere with a Raptor addiction so seeing the manufacturing side of different companies is pretty awesome. 10/10! Thanks for taking us along!
I worked at a Yamaha dealer from 04-13 and went to Orlando mmi to get certified with Yamaha. This is pretty cool. I know we had to put all the four wheelers together when they came in like wheels tires and bars.
I absolutely love Yamaha. Had a yz125 still have a 2020 raptor 700r and a 2022 gp1800 svho. The paint quality on my ski really stinks but that is my only complaint at all. Amazing machines.
Excellent video!!!! I am from Argentina, here we have an assembly plant for Yamaha Raptor 700 , but its only assembly, the components are brought from Japan.I bought a 2024 recently, really beautiful machine, brutal torque!.Thanks for share the video!!, greetings from Argentina
I use to work at a factory that made ford plastic parts and the molds were very similar to the ones u showed in the video. Me and another guy were mold changers and that’s all we did. It would take an average time of an hour to change the molds out from start to finish. Then when the mold is set we would actually lean in or actually get inside between the molds when they were split open which was sometime little sketchy but we would take like this small hammer pin and punch in the date in those small boxes. But ya hot a$$ job and don’t miss it one bit. Definitely a really cool place!
I'm happy to be proven wrong but I suspect a Polaris or Arctic Cat facility is no where near this impressive. This was amazing, but I get what you mean by it being overwhelming just seeing so much...everything. Amazing video man, thank you for putting it together for us.
I got my 2024 raptor 700r 1.5months ago now and I couldn’t be happier. I think why no one else makes sport quads is because everyone wants a SBS where they can sit down and let the machine do all the work. On a raptor or 450 you real got to work you can’t just sit back.
My first quad was a 2021 YFZ450R, started riding at 24, im 26 now and I got a TRX250X and Predator 500, love sport quads and sad that everyone dropped them but Yamaha
Thats was so cool, being a yamaha fanatic for the last 27 years ago,i truly appreciate this video, although im into utility atv's,the whole process is mind boggling,110 semi's a day in parts is bonkers, wow,,,
That fiberglass stand for the side by side front ends looked like it's there for some kind of quality inspections. I've worked for GM the last 25 years. That's what my manufacturing experience tells me it's for.
@PeteHager depends on the rack. Though the plastic must be cooled before you even handle it or you'd imprint on it. Some racks are for keeping the checked part for 24hrs. That way if a problem is found they can go back to checked parts and determine how long the problem had been occurring. My first job at GM was plastic mold injection. Though that was 23 years and 8 factories ago. Thanks for your content. This plus others encouraged me to get an old TRX 450r and restore it. I'm now 3 weeks and $3k into my restoration.
Great content Pete. Original and quite interesting. Thanks for sharing. I wanted to reach out and ask about a collaboration but I don't see that you have an email address posted. Is there a way I can DM you?
That must’ve been an awesome experience Pete. Thanks 🙏 for sharing. This is kinda what we do at Boeing just on a much much larger scale because airplanes lol #yamaha4life
Much Quad luv from South Carolina. Been watching for years, I wish I could come ride at Adventure world but I don't have a bike until the summer. Stay safe and keep on rollin.
When I think of the SE Raptor, I think it would be the hardest model to get, but in the past 2 years, that's the only model I have seen around me at multiple different dealers.
All the responses I’ve been told is that they’re committed to sport quads for the foreseeable future. They’re not going anywhere anytime soon! There was a few guys pushing the Yamaha Reps to bring back a midsize machine like the Raptor 250. Hopefully one of these years we’ll see an update to the model line 🤞🤞😊
that was really cool to see . thank you yamaha for supporting atv racing and sport quads all together . heres to you honda 🖕. i was back of the pack on a honda 450 now im a champion on a yamaha 🤟🤟
Question. Sorry in advance if you already mentioned this but I don't have time to watch all the video right now. Did Yamaha give any hits of stopping making their 450 or 700 sports quads? I just skipped to the part where you mentioned" Yamaha are the last ones left making them" and it hit hard. Like you're right, no KTM anymore, no Suzuki. Do you think the Yamaha will be here for a long time yet? Or not?
Have you considered an insta 360? I have one for motorcycle. I absolutely love it over go pro.. Obvious but helps capture much more than average camera..
I have a GoPro 360 max I’ll use in riding videos from time to time. They can be kind of tedious to edit. However using it for something like this walk through could’ve been cool! I’ll have to remember that for the future 👌👍
I was a Yamaha dealer for 27 years and I have been in that factory and the one in Japan. Yamaha is such a great company.

Grateful to all those line workers. Thank you for keeping the sport alive!
Thank You Yamaha.
As a mechanic for 20 years at a dealer all major certs, I'm amazed at this process. Awesome video. Yea shout out to Yamaha!
And thank you Pete for posting the SXS part also! Even though it’s a sport quad channel I LOVED seeing everything!
