Very helpful with all the small cleaning tips. Thank you for being so precise and detailed.
Clear precise straight to business…..thank you sir
You sir... Is a Hero. Thank you. Do you have a video on how to change rear shock absorbers on Audi SQ5 2013?
$2,400 quote from the dealer for this. I almost drove off the road. 😂
Good job
Got hardware for caliper off but still stuck and can't pull off caliper. It just wiggles help is appreciated
Maybe pins are still locked on threads and you need to push them out using screw driver, or you need to press the brake pads to compress pistons a little bit. Use screw driver too
@@sushi_garage it was the brakes needing to be compressed thank you!
Really clear video - Thank You
Where are you located ???
You did not show the process for releasing the electronic parking brake ?? Maybe I missed it but normally I need an OBD 11 or VAG software for this part.
No need to do this. It's front discs and pads replacement video :)
Of course Doh !! That will learn me for trying to be clever 🙂@@sushi_garage
Hello my friend. I have a question, what are the specs for the front brake disc on the SQ5. The diameter in mm and the size in mm, please.
380 56mm
that doesn't seem all that difficult. Great vid.
Nie odkręciłeś odpowietrznika! Pamiętaj o tym przy cofaniu tłoczków - ewentualny bród wypłynie a nie dostanie się do pompy ABS-u.
Where did you get the pads?
From authorised Audi dealer
what year SQ5?
I have 2016 and this exactly how mine is
where on earth do you get an imbus number 9?
If you can't buy imbus number 9, you can find and buy 3/8 inch. It's around 9,5 mm.
3/8 doesn't fit on mine.
Size 9 hex bit at O'Reilly's
Or buy a 10mm and make it yourself to a 9mm key 😉🙂
Why aren’t you using a torque wrench to torque the bolts to the specified torque?
Great video otherwise bro !!
Yea, I know I should tighten every bolt with a specific torque, but sometimes I can't find values in manuals. It's absolutely necessary to use torque wrench when you rebuild engines or other complicated things
++++++++
Should hit the hat of the rotor to dislodge it, not the rotor itself.
Stupid fake 4 piston calipers
Yes, but brakes in this Audi works quite good in my opinion...
