Yes, you two sound and are ALWAYS cool.
You ladies are the best teachers for us newbies.. thankyou!
This, like all of your videos, was so informative and educational. I love it.
Looking forward to the next session!
Hello from Quakertown PA, love these sessions, I think most of us need free motion instructions! Thank yiu
Thanks sooo much, i am new to free motion quilting and this has given me so good approaches that are not too complicated!
Great video,asALWAYS! Thank you ladies!
I was stuck in the Nine-Grid mode, and sometimes weren't even sure how to quilt it---now I can have many grids up and down and the multiple simple easy ways of continuous FMQ in the grids without breaking thread. Thank you for showing how!
A fun chat and great ideas! After a busy day in my sewing room and filming, I get to sit and watch you work while I hand quilt! I hope you have a lovely day ahead. Thank you for posting this video!
This is a fantastic informative easy to follow video . I am definitely going to try out some of these ideas.
So need a Longarm!!!! Thank you!!!!
Love the video. I think the twist pattern is called Terry Twist by Sally Terry.
Thank you nice ilove it .easy to learn👍👍👍🌻🌻
Love this Watch and Learn. Everything makes so much more sense. Thank you for sharing.
Hello from Kansas 🌻 You’re a great team, I enjoy your videos!
Thank you. This was very helpful. Hope to see more grid designs. 🌷
I totally relate to Swiper reference . I do the same thing
I’ve not had any luck with pounce. It doesn’t stay on during quilting. Someone suggested using hairspray lightly before using the chalk. I haven’t tried it yet but I intend to. Hope it works. I’ve been using rulers rather than stencils and I’m sure it takes longer that way.
Thanks for sharing these designs. I enjoy grid work. It really does look fabulous!
That was awesome! I learned a lot! Thanks
This was very helpful, thank you. I hope that you do a tutorial like this with triangles. They seem to stump me.
Back in the day, Sally Terry called the third design "The Terry Twist."
Another great video. I especially liked seeing the pattern drawn on the board first, and then stitched. How would you suggest grid work in a rectangle?
The same!! Just think connect the dots and the corners are usually the dot.
Hello all, kinda new to the world of FMQ and ruler/gridwork (my quilting skills haven't evolved much past stippling or stitch in the ditch/straight-line quilting and I'm getting a bit bored) and wondered what the sequence is for stenciling your quilt top. I do not have a longarm machine (yet...one of these days...) and am not sure if you wait until your quilt is loaded onto the machine or if you stencil it on your work table and stencil then. Thanks in advance!
Thank you, I only use my prostitcher, this makes me want to try something new. Great job ladies!
I have the HQ Forte. I have problems when I travel any length from left to right or bottom to top. My thread starts to shred. I tried some cross hatching and my machine didn't like it . I did try a new needle also. Any suggestions?
You might consider having your timing checked.
Thank you. I appreciate your videos!
Have just viewed a Kelly Cline video and she suggested using a Ball Point Needle and you won’t get any shredding. Hope this helps.
Thank you for the idea. One thing that worked is I turned the needle eye to a 5 o'clock position instead of the 6 o'clock normal. I will try a ball point also.@@cud007
Can you please post the grid
Which grid are you wanting posted?
Very hard to see for an educational video
