    I let my Alocasia poly flower and didn’t cut it off till it died. After that it is putting out 4 leaves at a time which before only did 1 at a time

    Is that philodendron pinnatilobum the same family as the golden violin that costa farms put out? It looks same

    32:42 giving it a lil sniff to make sure there is no pests 🤣
    i have tried many philodendrons in the past 8 years and my favorites atm are florida ghost, beauty, green as well as p. pedatum and squamiferum i also have mcaules finale, p. mexicanum but im on the fence about them two😁 i have learned that many philos are a pain to grow nice sadly.. but heyho one does not have to get every single plant on the planet🙃

    Loved this video! I have the gold version of the Melinonii. He's a big boy, but nothing like as big as his normal colored relative. The leaves are shorter and the petioles thinner. Jeez, your Melinonii must want to be a Monstera. I have read that they can get to 8 feet, 2.4 something meters. So interesting to see yours.

      I have the gold also and agree, my leaves aren't quite as big as Emma's Regular Form has put out.

    The fat boy is on my wishlist. Yours looks lovely, long petiole included. And the melanonii is gorgeous, too. If only I had space for another big leaved plant like it....

    Hi Emma, thank you so much for sharing your philo collection! Gorgeous🥰
    I’m a bit jealous about your burle Marx variegata🙈 How do you keep it variegated? Do you have to cut sections? I tried three already and they all reverted. I still like them, but could have spend less money just buying a standard Burle Marx😅

    My var. Heartleaf is growing funky. It's giving half moon leaves, but the side with variegation is small and underdeveloped. I did recently put it on a moss pole, so hopefully I can get better growth!

    🇦🇺🙋🏻 I'm so glad you showed your Burle marx! I've been looking at mine and wondering what the heck it's doing and why it's growing so weird. Now I know it's just normal.
    Loved that melinonii - had to Google its availability here, yup sure is!
    Great segment Emma, thank you

    I used to have many philos but now I only have 3 and I absolutely love them and can't imagine my collection without them. They are: Squamipherum, Billietiae, and Atabapoense.

    Gorgeous Philodendrons😊❤ I have 19 different Philos myself, and are starting to thin the collection down too. I wish the large ones didn't grow so freaking long petioles! 😆 The get so wide 😅 But, you really should try the Gigas! Not long Petioles, and the leafs are velvety, with a beautiful green colours. When new leafs grow they are like gold/beige colored, and the backside! Ahh, just beautiful! 😍😍😍🌿

    Hi Emma from Canada love your videos question about your majestic. It’s quite bushy. Are those several cuttings or one plant with many shoots the reason I ask is I just purchased a very small sodori in a 4 inch pot but it’s very bushy. It has several shoots coming out of one plant so eventually, I wanna put the entire plant on one moss pole. I tried splitting a jose buono a while ago 2 shoots from one chonk and it didn’t go well

    I can't wait for my splendid and glorious to start maturing. Splendid is doing great, took to it's moss pole and it's really started to thrive and grow.
    Glorious, ugh, idk what I'm doing wrong. It's just a baby but it hardly has any color and the last two leaves to come in are so tiny, even lost the first of the two. I'm thinking previous owner put it in leca too soon or something, it wasn't in great shape when I received it but they were gifts so I can't complain. I just really want it to make it through and Idk what I can do to help it along.

      Not for a black thumb like me 😅. i bought brazil & neon & micans so many times and died on me. I have 1 left mican & regular one that now in ICU (water propa) coz it's going to die last week 😂

    • @JBfanLeonie
      @JBfanLeonie 7 місяців тому +2

      @@eckehareckbert2731the thing that helped me most with Philos and also helped me to be a little bit more chill is: Philodendron roots can dry out and don't die off immediately. They rather go through a bit of a drought than have constant wet feet. So, don't over-water them and give them enough light. Especially the three you named can tolerate a lot of light and maybe even get sun-stressed in direct light. Which is pretty too ❤

    • @eckehareckbert2731
      @eckehareckbert2731 7 місяців тому +1

      @@JBfanLeonie it's true, my remaining micans in soil gave almost heartache as 3 leaves got yellow & died after watering, but it's now recovering. I won't give up lol. Thanks too☺️
