PreeStyle Smith Remake - Completely remade experience with many changes to the original as well as new content. Remaster - same game, nothing new added, better graphics, bug fixes. It is a remaster because it's the exact same game, they won't change any of the content or any of the enviroments and they won't add anything, but they will update the graphics and controls. It's not a damn remake

I'm pretty sure the game will have very different controls (if they decide to exploit the difference between PS2 and PS4 controllers) and the experience will be changed just thanks the graphisms. Especially with the new animations. (sorry if some of my sentences are weird I didn't really know how to explain...)
Man I'm gonna get even more lost in that forest now then I ever did!!! Which is awesome! It's so pretty. I'm glad they kept the colors in this game and didn't make it so dark and gloomy.
I really hope it'll actually add new content, and not just improved graphics. I mean sure, it looks freaking amazing, and everyone will be dripping with nostalgia, but it'd be nice to see all the content the devs had to cut out and couldn't finish when it first came out. I don't see anything stopping them from finishing it this time.
You should check out Nomad Colossus. His whole channel is dedicated to the cut out and unfinished content of the game. And there were a lot of unique and interesting Colossuses they didn't finish, and proof they were in developement once. And even if they would be scrapped because they were to similar, there's nothing stopping them from developing completely new ones now.
actually jordan, it was mostly hardware issues rather than similar gameplay. about 3-4 colossi had same gameplay, but others were tanking that old black VCR (ps2)
the phoenix one seems like a pain. you can *if you want* play them beta colossi if you get an emulator. at least the ones that were left with some code in it.
Couldn't bring myself to replay this game because how bad/ guilt it would have made me feel. That and the exploration and lizard tail. First time playing experience was very EPIC though.
People of this generation will never understand the original magic of playing this game for the first time. What utter wonder, magic and awe it left in me. So mysterious, beautiful and captivating. Nothing will beat the original PS2 version. 💛
wow...ill be honest there was a charm to the ps2 limitations. like it was all happening in a foggy dream. the sharpness almost lessens the effects of the visuals in that sense. but MAN, i am impressed by the detail. can't wait to experience this game all over again, FOR A THIRD TIME. :,)

Legendary game! Back in 2005, this game was amazing with its graphics and atmosphere and was breathtaking! I did not expect that there will be a remake.. Undoubtedly, the visual component became even more сinematic, the atmosphere is not lost, but even better underlined. It's nice that in 12 years the game is not forgotten!
there's that damn Eastern Peewee in the forest again- you hear it in every nature doc too, even though that bird is native to the US east coast states!

Even if we don't get the extra 8 colossi, I think it's very safe to assume that this new remake will have some surprises. Bluepoint was obviously working on this long before the reveal at this years E3. What a great Valentine's Day present for 2018. :)
As Laura says, it's the point of the game. The music when you defeat the collosi is not of triumph. And Wander pays a heavy price, that is one of the things that give this game cult status.

Already played Bloodborne. It was really good. I'm back to playing on PC now, I haven't touched my ps4 in a while though because no game I was interested in. But now that this and The Last of Us 2 are coming out I can dust it off.

The sound balance seems way off in the battle, maybe i am mistaken but i don't remember that thing making so much noise and especially not loud enough to drown out the music, which would be REALLY bad.

actually they did confirm that a few colossi would be added, the ones wich tanked the PS2 and had to be removed...
