    Did Mike Bickle apologize to the victim and his wife at the time of the incident?

      It's a good question and would surely make a huge difference. And ask some questions. Without being judgemental in any way, it's a bit odd that - or significant - that in listing those he hurt he doesn't even mention the person from 20 years ago - the one he admits has happened.

    He’s only admitting that he looked at a woman inaproprately one time 20+ years ago during a full moon. Come on...he’s still calling the main victim a liar. She has no reason to lie. He has every reason to lie. MB has already proved he is a liar by admitting to nothing in the letter to her husband and making it seem like the victim was the problem. Unbelievable!!!

    It’s very unfortunate and sad that this has taken place but hopefully this will help heal going forward, now that it’s out on the table. Please remember to not throw stones and pray for all involved. I personally know pastors that have had similar though different issues occur and God restored them and presently they are reaching the lost for Jesus.

    Apparently when Mike was in his early 40s he prophesied to a 19 yr old girl that his wife would die and that he would be betrothed to the young girl. Then they made out regularly and met up at hotels privately. He gave her money and other gifts. The woman says they did everything but have full blown intercourse. Now it’s being heard that Mike used his wife dying as a pick up line with other women too. We will see if those women come forward or not.
    Lord we pray for healing and comfort over his sweet wife Diane.

    Thanks for the video. I don’t understand why you are saying the leadership team have clearly dragged their feet and knew that this was true though. They’ve tried 3 times to get a neutral third party to investigate that the advocate group would accept and talk to and the advocate group kept not accepting them. Why would that be necessary if they knew it was true?

    • @christianwoudenberg3393

      Lawfirms with fiduciary duty to client are NOT an independent third party, check Boz Tchividians legal feedback on this. It only makes sense that complainants lawyer up after IHOPKC does, especially with firms famous for defending those accused of sex crimes. They ignored Michael Browns advise to get a true independent investigative ministry like Guideposts and NOT involve lawyers three times over and then blame victims. This is corrupt and disgusting organizational behabiour without a doubt, there is no good intent there. There are no examples of such cases where the third party isnt determined and agreed by both parties by the way, this is not a thing.

      I find it very interesting that this whole thing started a few months after his revelation and teaching on the majority of churches teaching replacement theology. The focus immediately became something he did 26 years ago, taking the whole focus of the belief of the church becoming the new Israel and God rejecting Israel. I've not heard anything about his teaching, which I have his printed notes on, and it's excellent.

      Jane Doe watched a Bill Cosby documentary and realized what had happened to her with Mike Bickle and had a breakdown. She then told her husband who then confronted Mike Bickle. That was the "spark".

  • @AIM1040
    @AIM1040 6 місяців тому

    If it was 26 years ago and it happened before the ministry started and then he repented before God years before starting the ministry, why does this have anything to do with anything. Do we have to all go back and repent of our 30 year old sins in order to start a ministry. Or if we have a ministry, before we start, should we confess sins that were already dealt with and repented of. This seems weird and what happened before ihop, may not be our business is it?

    • @JewandGreek
      @JewandGreek  6 місяців тому +1

      There's apparently more to it than that. The "Jane Doe" woman from 26 years ago approached the advocates after hearing that there was a current woman in the position she was in 26 years ago. Also there were emails between Bickle and Jane Doe and her husband where he was denying the allegations shortly before he "confessed". Then there was the prophetic aspect where he used his status as a prophet of sorts to manipulate people, including meeting with groups of young women without his wife's presence. The bottom line is that it doesn't appear to be as simple as he messed up one time 26 years ago and repented. It seems to have been an ongoing thing and much of it he has never owned up to. We'll see in the coming weeks and months what else surfaces.

    Lots of slander going around about the victims too.
    The Christian life must be lived in community, with repentance to the people who are harmed by our actions and with accountability to people too. MB has obviously not done that.

    From the Roys Report:
    “The firm also boasts that it obtained another “complete dismissal” of a church-affiliated school where a coach sexually assaulted a member of the girls’ softball team. And Lathrop says it represented a Catholic diocese in a group settlement that resulted in “per-claimant awards of less than one-third the national average.”
    My thoughts: if this is true then I wouldn’t trust that firm either. “If it were my kid”. Of course it isn’t my kid. And regardless we need to stick with the facts. Plus I would still want to ask some questions regarding this… Boz basically suggested that the alleged victim(s) not participate based on his opinion, and then we have some statements that are trying to cast shade on and discredit this woman and this firm. In the case involving the coach and the alleged sexual assault, why didn’t Julie Roys use the word “alleged” when reporting on that case? Was the case dismissed for good reason? She is clearly implying that this firm is boasting in the fact that they got a wicked predator off the hook. The way she phrases things is one of many reasons I don’t trust her. Oh well.

    I have watched a few posts on this and one post stated that there was drugging of a women involved in order to render her defenseless. If this is true then the issue should NOT be, being inappropriate but "rape".

    • @JewandGreek
      @JewandGreek  7 місяців тому

      First of all she (Jane Doe) didn't say that she was drugged. She said that she had a couple of cocktails and she remembered him (Bickle) kissing her and the next thing she remembered was waking up in bed disoriented. It didn't occur to her that she might have been drugged for another 20 years or so when she heard some podcast about a victim of Bill Cosby. Secondly, she said that there was no intercourse, so it wasn't rape. There's no question that her allegations, which he apparently now acknowledges, were inappropriate and IMO disqualifying. But "criminal" is a different matter entirely. It would be very difficult 20 years later to prove that a crime was committed.

      It seems to me that a good deal of that time was spent on obfuscation and strategizing. They realized that Bickle put them in a very difficult position and they were trying to strike a balance between getting to the truth and not appearing to betray their founder. According to Jason Carr, Stuart Greaves admitted to him on November 9 that Bickle confessed to the Jane Doe allegations. According to other former ELT members, the ELT knew about the allegations for some time before the October 28 statement was issued.

    The real issue with Bickle is his prophetic history. Is this the man God has chosen to help usher in his 2nd coming? Is this man a true prophet of God or is he false prophet. His public prophetic claims need to be put to the test of scripture.
