At 53:30, whenever I beat this boss, sometimes I have to fight another boss that shoots out the top. It looks like a wicked jellyfish. Freakin fast! This is by far one of my favorites.
Yes. In order to get the final S bonus, you have to destroy the satellite's midsection. This has the boss eject the Jelly Fish which you can then destroy for the S bonus.
Something I've noticed in all the playthroughs that players seem to miss. If something is flying in the background that you cannot directly shoot, firing a Wasp missile will flow in to the background and damage the target. This works well for enemies that delay coming in to firing range. Edit: after watching this play through again, I have to admit that I've seen better ones. Not only does the player miss the first S bonus by not shooting all the signs on stage one, they also stop using their main cannon when possessing two gunpods. This is not optimal play.
I remember my older Nephew played this game a long time ago. never knew what the name of this game was. After a bit of digging online, I'm almost certain that Einhander was the game he played judging by the ship death animation which I remember well.
I bought a copy from my local Video Store as it was closing down years ago, got it for next to nothing but after factoring in the amount of times I had rented the very same copy over the years, I paid what they go for today.
I just got this for my PS1 on ebay (for a hefty price) and have been playing it a lot. I owned it when I was a kid and loved it! Right now I am trying to get good enough to beat the game on hard (without losing a continue :s ) so I can get the two secret ships. But man is it hard! You make it look easy. I find the with the controller the ships movement is so jerky, even when adjusting the speed. Anyways, good to see people still playing the classics :)

Coming from someone who has an original copy, I have to admit that it is FUCKING SURREAL to see this masterpiece in glorious 1080p60. Love it!

You get this kind of graphics from playing on emulators such as mednafen, epsxe etc.
emulators on the pc/android/ios maybe?, einhander was one of my favorite games as a kid. i played and beat it not too long ago.

Yes it's in easy (boring), because at 31.50 the boss walks... In hard he runs and he fights fukin faster with no mercy.
