I was not expecting another jin tas against hwoarang and jins goes against Jinpachi with new strats. That was really cool to watch and replayed some parts to see how it happened. Also have a lovely new year man.

I love T5 but this game was so unbalanced lol but I agree too; I miss when Tekken didn’t have rage arts, heat, 20 hit combos as punishment for one whiff mistake
@ Yes it was unbalanced but you have to put things in context… back on the ps2 we didn’t have as much information as of today, not even close. 1. There was no frame data in the game, today people rely on frame data, but back then we had to a-b test everything if we wanted know what was punishable and what could punish. 2. There was no move list aside from the little guide book you had with the cd. 3. The game didn’t have an online mode, you either had to play with your family or friend, which wasn’t as consistent as queuing online obviously. Or go to the arcade, which costed money and time since you had to either have one close to your house or travel there. 4. Internet wasn’t what it is today, there wasn’t much information shared on it back then, and UA-cam wasn’t even out when the game was, and even a year later, UA-cam wasn’t yet what it is today. So most of the game knowledge that people talk about today (when talking about Tekken 5) pretty much wasn’t talked about at all back then.
This Game was so much better than what we got now. It was whack and imba, but hell, i was so much happier playing 4, 5 and 6, instead of this Kazino Sim with 3 different panic-win-Buttons

This is exactly how I would love for tekken to be more like, not in TAS vibe obviously (tho it would be cool to counter moves like this) but the feel and energy felt more engaging which I can always come back to, I hope season 2 they fix there problems
