It’s baffling how much time was spent just for Harpie Lady Sisters to get a retrain, let alone be granted a Maximum.

A slight correction: while discussing Wildgleam, you say there are three magnum overlord maximums, when in fact there are four magnum overlord maximums.
There is:
Supreme Machine Magnum Overlord (The robot one)
Supreme Wildgleam Magnum Overlord (The big cat-like one)
Supreme Skystream Magnum Overlord (A jet-like one)
Supreme Fullsteam Magnum Overlord (A rail cannon-like one)

It was probably on their radar but drawing 5 cards a turn might be the reason why they didnt release it, if they do they will probably require you to fill both monster & spell/trap zones, i know thats 6 cards in total so they might add an extra piece like the seal itself as a card plus the 5 body pieces, hopefully they take a similar route but know for sure they will try to make it as inconsistant as possible for obvious reasons

I made a TIER LIST for maximums, but if i made a top 3 i guess is
Top 3-Harpie Lady Sisters
Top 2-Volcalize Phoenix
Top 1- Beast magnum(only pre new order good maximum)

Harpy ladies used by mai. It was 3 in cartoon. Took forever for the game to catch up! So bad
Man I love maximum summon. I wasn’t sold on rush duels honestly because it felt like an upgraded form of speed duels. But I have to admit, I was wrong. I gave it a chance and I love it. Supreme machine magnum overlord is my favorite so far with Yggdrago right behind him. Rush duel feels great.
the combined art and mechanic can be compared to Cardfight Vanguard's Legion (Mate)...
I do love the two fiend monsters. They look almost Dark Soul esc in a way.
When 2500-2600 attack in already huge in DL,we introduced huge beatstick with 3000-5000 attack 😅😅😅
Current Rush in DL still limited with monster destruction effect
At least it requires you to have the three cards in hand to summon the big monster. Unlike in regular yugioh, which can have multiple 3-5k beaters.
I was so happy when the Harpies were AMAZING in DL 😂 I need more wing beast monsters for this damn deck. Lol.

What i noticed about the harpie ladies is that they arent reliant on maximum summon like some maximum summons thier L and R parts cant operate separately from the core of the monster while there are other cards that does the same harpies all have 2100 atk power and can easily operate on thier own which is nice.

Wait thats just ritual summoning but with 3 cards instead of 2
ritual summoning still technically requires a minimum of 3 cards
@@TornadoZX825 with exceptions. Gishki has one that uses Life Points. There's also a Dogmatika Ritual spell that uses a monster in the extra deck as material. It still requires 3 cards, but 1 is from the extra deck, only requiring 2 in hand with no additional set up.
There might be other examples.
In a sense, but the only ‘cost’ of Maximum Summoning is having all 3 pieces in your hand, unlike Rituals where you need the monster, the ritual spells, and enough Levels to add up to or exceed the Ritual Monster’s Level
Fortunately, the three pieces on some of the maximum monsters can be used individually like the harpies, so they can be even better.

I'm not very knowledgeable about Rush Duels aside fron what's on Duel Links, but does Romin have a Maximum, in the anime? I love her Psychic musicians, and I'd love it if there was one

Unfortunately, Romin doesn't have a maximum that she uses. It would be cool to have one though, maybe pieces of one of her many band/Rockstar cards could come together?
Yeah no Maximums, but I think it's because Psychics focus is on Fusion summoning as the big summons

I think the people are just very small in them dino towns :p
I like the fiend blaze maximum cards
and they just drop yggdrago which is a 4000 ATTACKER in rush duel
Yggdrago has one glaring flaw it relies on maximum summon the L and R parts can't operate separately to the main one and is easily one of the most vulnerable max summon to get thrown into the graveyard easily. But yeah it's a huge ass attacker the art is awesome.
God I hope we get a Dark Magician and a Blue-eyes White Dragon Maximum summon monsters soon.
They have to be three parts thou dark magician and blue eyes is only two parts so I don't see it happening blue eyes ultimate dragon on the other hand is more possible..... It would be like yggdrago one part for each head art.

I'm not a fan of rush duels in generally but maximum monsters i do really like there just cool gameplay wise and feels like how fusions were in season 1
Finally a exodia gimmick
If Rush were to reintroduce Toons, I'd like the following:
Toon World as a field, since no continuous cards
Toons cannot be destroyed as long as toon world is on field, but cannot attack directly.
While I think this is a cool mechanic, Blue Eyes will always be my number 1

Althou in duel link it seems like you can only rush duel In the world of sevens soooooo yeah you can only rush duel with sevens character and they can't have normal speed duel decks either
@@scarletrose8766 yeahh sadly can't using all speed characters.. their format is different, non follow up universe I think 🤔 cause Duel link it almost based of Anime Series afterall ( I say almost cause some of anime characters is still missing 🗿 like the 5ds characters .. they give a boss - Zone while Team Ragnarok, the Nordic is not released yet )

Rush Duel's Rule turn into OCG cards.
I never played a game of speed duel, maximum duel or rush duel, so this is big news for me;

Idk, but they missed the opportunity to make ultimate into a maximum, they just made it into a fusion again.
So meklord empror were maximum before maximum was a thing

On their own? Not really, they clear fields and can't attack directly unless the field is clear on your turn, not horrible (unless you're using Pierce! And just decimate afterwards)
WITH SKILLS AND HARPY'S PET DRAGON ON THE OTHER HAND-
The harpy deck is probably one of the most scary things to see in rush duel that's not multi strike dragon or sevens road deck ...... Once again duel links favor the harpies kinda cause duel links made the harpies meta at one point.
You have to have three specific cards in hand? Isn't this a significantly worse version of ritual summoning? Maybe rush duel has a smaller deck, so it not that bad.
Sorta of, the trade off is that maximums are hard to get out of the field, since most are immune to trap destruction and a lot of cards only work on lv8 or lower, and maximums are lv10.
Not to mention the high atk.
It's the (attempt) to balance large monsters by requiring three cards to fill the board as a single monster. Since you draw until you have 5 cards in hand every turn and you usually get multiple turns in rush duel since the power of cards is somewhat lower, you can usually see some maximum summons pulled off more often than not.

Do you know how i can buy rush duel cards?. I have been doing research but i dont know any sites at all
I found some of the high grade collection on Amazon, but idk if it's there anymore. But I also found some in a local card shop that had some older sets on sale so I bought two there. Ofc they're all in Japanese since Rush doesn't have a TCG release outside of JP and KR. One day tho. One day.

Don't worry we only have three maximum monsters in duel links and harpie lady sisters is the weakest compared to the other two
In the current rush duel format harpie ladies are the strongest, magnum still useable and yggdrago........ sucks to be him
When you have a 3900 beater that can attack three times... I don't see how others can compete when most of the time, they can only attack once, even if they do get really high attack.
Harpie lady sisters are only strong because of the skill and harpie pet dragon but magnum overload attack can reach over 9000 and yggdrago is stronger because he don't need skill to switch opponents monster position and why is it matter if harpie lady sisters can attack three times if only they could attack set monsters face it they are wick compared even to the new maximum monsters
@Nighthuy4247 because they have an equip spell that can only be equipped to harpy lady sisters that gives them an extra 800 attack and piercing. Magnum overload has no consistent synergies like the new harpy cards allowing them to return a harpy lady sisters card to recycle the equip and another harpy that allows you to put a wingbeast from the grave to the top of the deck which allows them to summon the maximum much more. Meanwhile, overload can only reach massive attacks if they are losing in life points, so while great when behind, not so good in consistency.
@markos50100 like you first said a monster with 3900 and can attack three times but if there are one single monster face down and let's give it an extra advantage that you have pierce in your hand and opponent has 5000 life point how can you defeat him in one single turn you can't even attack him directly because harpie lady can attack monster only. Yes I agree harpie can recycle themselves but what is the point of that and even with the maximum overlord skill can recycle magnum overlord but just simple advantage compared of summoning level 7 monster from your hand without any tribute face it harpie don't have nothing on magnum overlord.

The concept is great in a format that "attempts" to lower the power of most cards to prevent a player from winning in one turn. By separating the powerful monster into three pieces that count as one monster, you can more safely print really high base attack monsters without having to worry about getting one shot as they can only attack once... then you get harpy ladies. Love them still but too strong for now. Being able to attack three times on monsters with 3900 attack... much wow.
