To each their own, personally, I think it's better to love a person for who they are rather than how sharp their teeth are. Besides, Alucard would still be cool SOB even if he were human, just maybe not as pretty.
Alucard is such a complex character and I like him a lot with that trait although that would only be because half of him is human and half is not.... But he was still a Great Character both in this show and the games, although his Appearances in the Games are still powerful then the animated series
