This is going to sound weird but the town I grew up in has a really big Belgian population, so at Christmas they'd have a little market with stalls selling waffles. It was as amazing and messy as it sounds xD
Geez this seems right up my alley. A little of everything, not actually Christmas related (lol), just some food. In comparison, I'm having cheeseburgers and vodka for Christmas! :) In any event, hope you two have a wonderful Christmas and New Years day and hope the new year brings you a lot of happy times.
Merry Christmas to you both, safe travels & a happy new year! Thanks for all the videos , they've been entertaining, informative, funny & have kept me entertained since finding your channel a while ago, here's to many more to come :)
Oh man, you guys need to go out to an Ochazuke specific restaurant. They go from really basic in the train stations to really fancy with so many toppings and broths or teas. It's a Japanese simple breakfast or comfort meal.
Rice, bread, pasta/noodles or potatoes! Gotta have at least one starch. But I really don't like starch stacking. I don't need potatoes, sweet potatoes, stuffing and rolls with one meal. But I don't know if i'm feeling maudlin or what, but this made me feel all cozy and warm.
Hey guys! Watching your video is pure enjoyment, as usual. By the way, that vine you were trying is pretty popular around here during winter time and the holidays. We call it mulled vine (also known as spiced vine). It is basically boiled red vine made with sugar, cinnamon and cloves (maybe some orange peel and other stuff). Love it! I am so looking forward to watching your Hawaiian adventures. I know it's going to be interesting by the looks of your tweets... I wish you many blessings, much happiness, and even more success, love and health! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, dear friends! Cheers!
You should definitely check out the Sapporo German Christmas Market one year. Unquestionably it's the best Christmas market in Japan, and isn't just good by Japanese standards. It is a genuinely authentic German christmas market (thanks to Sapporo's sister city relationship with Munich) and I've been to quite a few markets in Germany & Finland and was impressed by this one. And I do like the Christmas Market in Yokohama as well. And if you enjoy ice skating they have a open ice rink next to the Red Brick Warehouses.
I just asked that girl who was staring at you when you were talking about the bubble tea “what’s you’re f*cking problem?!”. Out loud. In my living room. In England. 😩😂
Almost every Christmas market in England is 90% German - sausages, gingerbread men and mulled wine or cider. They're are cool but you get a lot of copy and paste. I think I've found the key to your fortune though, and looking at your market there's a big gap....you should open a Christmas store with all of our Western adornments, give Christmas workshops and teach the Orient how to do Christmas western stylee! Aloha guys!
Still never been able to get to a Christmas market in Germany but the ones we have been to in the uk are very commercialised and don’t feel authentic 🤷♂️ anyway thanks for the video have a great Christmas 👍🏴🇬🇧
That girl at 2:52 is looking kind of askance at the two of you until her friend reprimands her. This is probably the first time I've seen specimens of the world-famous Japanese schoolgirl in any of your videos. Merry Yule!
Unfortunately no Christmas Markets in Hawaii. None that I'm aware of. Also I'm the weirdo that just eats meat with no rice. I am a keto/carnivore so no carb/low carb! Did you guys try poke yet? Or Hawaiian Food? Or 2 Ladies Kitchen Mochi on the Big Island? Can't wait to see your Hawaii videos!
I had a quick question to ask you. What camera do you guys use for your videos. I wanted to get some advice from you guys about buying a vlogging camera.
I've been watching your guys channel for a while and it never really occurred to me what you guys do for work in Japan? Do you guys teach English?? I was also curious how old you guys are? I'll be heading over to Japan to teach English next year and I'm 31.
Hot water/thin broth, rice and meat jerky. Sounds something a rookie college student would come up with. But then I have had worse at a restaurant so...
Ahh okay a special license situation. It's the same in Canada, unless you get a moped but that's just a 50cc (or under) engine and you're not allowed onto highways.
You two make great videos and I would like to add you don't venture into clickbait. You can look at channels and that's all they do. Oh and how emtional they get in the title. One of just took a hit subscribers and changed the title. It's really crappy they have more views and subscribers than you but your videos are far better than their garbage!!!!!! Sorry for the rant.

Mulled wine in a paper cup. Yum. :). Reminds me of corporate functions!
3:38: "A meal makes her forget".
Sounds....a little sinister.
Spun roofie pasta
Merry Christmas 🎄🎁 and happy new year 🎆. Thanks for all your videos.
The look you guys got at 3:05. Lol
If I remember correctly ochazuke is green tea poured over rice. But I read it can also just be hot water over rice sometimes.
Yeah, I think it has some dashi in it too!
its been 2 years since the Sweden trip oh wow
WHAAAA? Video on a Tuesday? It's a Christmas miracle. Thank you Kyde and Eric for the surprise Christmas present.

Sounds good, hope to make it up there sometime! -E
We do have a Christmas market where we live, as we're in Europe's north end. :) Mulled wine, sausages , all the good stuff already from November.
Sounds perhaps more traditional. Hahah
Kyde hit the nail on the head! As a kid, my mom used to make ochazuke for me every time I was wasn't feeling well.

Kyde is just the cutest lil bean. I’m sure we have plenty Christmas markets here in Florida but sounds like lots of people so imma pass lol.
Ramen Bassa Nova? Is that Ramen with Bass and salty Lox?
those girls at 3:00 were pretty curious about your camera
Haha, yea, I noticed that when we were filming.

That French hot dog looks NSFW.

What was that place going for with "A meal makes her forget?" lool A meal makes her forget what? Sounds kind of sinister.
Merry Christmas!!
2020 Eric Junior, any chance?
Hi from Malaysia. Do travelling in Japan using motorcycle similar to Sabah journey or others Sea countries.
Wish we could, but we aren't licenced in Japan for a motorcycle.
Ahh okay a special license situation. It's the same in Canada, unless you get a moped but that's just a 50cc (or under) engine and you're not allowed onto highways.
5:50 is it spiced?
yeaaap
No egg nog ? No Santa close ? No Jesus ? No Christmas parade ?
To be fair, it's Japan. hahaha
Too dang hot for Christmas markets in South Oz...
30º+ weather and mulled / hot wine don't mix... :(
Add ice! -E
Isnt mulled wine hot wine with spices?
Sounds about right
Why are there girls next to each oden?
Interesting
I’m Jewish 😻
OMG Kyde is queasy...which means Eric is pregnant?
This math adds up.

Haha, I totally understand what you are saying, it's frustrating to see cheap tactics pay off. -Eric
@@kydeanderic Hey thanks I got really ranty. Loved this one can't wait for your Hawaii vlogs👏👏👏👏👏
Glögg skål
Well, there is no need to denigrate the market. If you don’t like it just move away.
Fuck it, we're moving. thanks for the wisdom.
This market is for our Tokyoite, not for foreign tourists. Don't tease our events we enjoy ourselves.
We aren't tourists, but thanks.
Dude Kyde and Eric have lived in Japan for a decade. They certainly are not tourists!
Merry Christmas :)
