- pKa, pH, Drug Ionization and Drug Absorption based on Hendeson Hasselbalch Equation
In this video, I explained how pH of a media affect thr Drug Ionization and absorption based on its pKa and pKb. This video basically contains pKa, pH, Drug Ionization and Drug Absorption based on Hendeson Hasselbalch Equation.

Any formula
Ap ne already likhe hue hai ratios of ions
Nicely explained, Sir...
Thanks Sir

Ok sir
Sir what formula we will apply for the bases as like for the acid we apply PH -PKA
Opposite pk-pH
Rest All things is same
Conceptual trick
@@pharmacologyconcepts thank u sir 🙏🙏
very nice sir ,sir please gpat mcq series chalu kijiye
Han karunga Jaldi
sir 90% Ionized or 10% Unionized ka ration 9:1 hoga na ya 10:1 ??
Fraction ratio 10:1 hoga pura ek bar dekho
at many place in henderson equation is given ionized/unionized for WA while for WB unionized / ionized....so whats the correct format?
Both
1st most appropriate for WA , Ion/union
Sir , I simplified this formula, for acid, if ph value is higher then pka then it will be ionised , for weak base it will be opposite, but according to this, all 6 questions was right, but 7th no question didn't match?
I will check
This is also matched
Pka 7 (Weak Base) pH 6 Then 90%ionises
for weak base pH higher means unionized and pH lower means ionized opposite to acid
But is base already mentioned in question then think accordingly
@@pharmacologyconcepts thank you sir, now I understand the concept.
we know pk what it is... but how to calculate pk and (WHY to determine pk... what will be significance of pka or pkb...seperataly not with henderson ph relation with pk...
i has been stuck in this since week
I think basic science teacher will answer properly
I am a Pharma teachers, just explain it's role in drug Absorption
But I will try to find your answer and communicate back to you
Nah ....they cant answer...but if find out share it too, cause its a part of preformulation in idustrial pharmacy..
Ok I will chk
Very slow
Thanks a lot sir
