ya ad rejections have been INSANE lately! esp healthcare lead-gen niche! even after sooo many careful content reviews we publish ads and they get rejected while they have nothing wrong in them! all they do is label them as misleading or violating policies! it's insanely hard to run lead-gen ads in US and that too in such niches!

This might be Meta being ultra careful because I'm pretty sure the FTC doesn't want ANY sort of income claim - or anything that might seem like an income claim. If Facebook has no fact-checking and allows users to post anything, even dishonest content, it damages the trust people have in clicking on our legitimate ads. I definitely think Mark is trying to play ‘nice neighbor’ politics with the new administration, but this will only create new competitors. I’m already planning to shift my budget to other channels because I rely too much on Meta right now.

Just wanna ask you one thing, I have this winning campaign, but I'd like to adjust age range a bit, since I'd like a bit younger customers for my product.. so should I mess with the already existing campaign and change the age range there, or will the age range adjustment affect the campaign's performance and I should just create another one with the adjusted age range?
Appreciate your view as advertising guru, but I just left Facebook, Instagram and X after being on them 10+ years. From my point of view there’s less and less authentic content worth seeing and more and more advertising. AI will add to the amount of stuff not worth watching. Social media as we knew it has peaked and is slowly turning into product catalogs for shopping. Same old boring stuff, but that’s just me. BTW I’m an artist so was one of the authentic content providers. Hope your business thrives though you may have to pivot at some point as I’m doing right now.

If I am running Meta, then I am going to be super cognizant of cost - how much was all this so-called 'fact checking' moderation silliness costing them? Then you start looking at reasons why people are/were leaving their platform and ways to curb that or even reverse it. So yeah, some of this is Zuck blaming the feds and trying to redeem himself in the eyes of the public, but I do think Meta wants to go back to just being a for-profit enterprise and not .... another arm of the government ministry of propaganda, or what that unfortunate period of time was called.
If I were running Meta, I'd be deeply concerned about the costs of fact-checking and moderation. Understanding user migration and curbing it is crucial. Balancing profitability with social responsibility is a tightrope walk that needs careful navigation.

Create a new one, the old one will be destabilized if you change the age of your audience and it will go back into learning phase.
