Marketing is shifting into something bigger, becoming more like an ecosystem than a funnel. People search everywhere now (TikTok, voice assistants, smart devices). The goal is to meet them naturally, with real value. Build communities that matter, create moments they’ll remember, and let your brand feel like a story they want to be part of.
facts, as the world moves towards making AI accessible, it wont be long before people are all fed up with just the machines and there will come back the demand for the human touch
Hubspot recently put out research that human written content only performs about 1% better than AI-- AI can be a tremendous productivity booster. The key is to use it as an ASSISTANT so you get that EEAT. I love AI and use it every day. It is not just a spinner... you just have to work WITH IT, not just expect it to work FOR YOU.
Yupp. Agree with that. If you feed relevant structure, data, sections, audience and other related details, AI can be a great productivity booster. Of course, you have to critique the work 100% times and make sure it aligns with expectations
Eric, great talk. I agree that AI agents are the future of marketing, handling monotonous and "boring" tasks but needed to improve KPIs. What tools or SaaS products do you or your team use to build the AI agents you mentioned? Thanks.
Neil's charts suggesting time is spent on social but revenue comes from search - I've been noticing search gets conversion attribution but these conversions often come from social - particularly for high consideration purchases. I would be hesitant to draw a conclusion from those charts because your social and search presence more often act in tandem than in silos.
My friends are taking coding classes at Moonpreneur before enrolling in AI courses. Can I pursue AI courses without prior coding experience? Please clarify my doubts
AI agent can do many searches quicker than human, so it makes sense that total traffic is increasing and will increase way more in future. When agents can actually spend money it will be great for many good businesses.
Facebook is like my personal stylist, it suggests me clothes better, removes the hassle of endless scrolling through a sea of products. Most of the times I end up buying what was suggested to me because it was really tailored to my taste.
AI is reshaping web agencies and digital marketing. While agency owners like Eric and Neil advocate for their services, they're likely must adapt to AI rather than resist it. After 25 years in online marketing, I've seen websites evolve from "online brochures" to interactive platforms. And i am happy with this shift. Success however will come from blending AI capabilities with human creativity and strategy, for now...
Can neil patel share own brand traffic? From 2024-2025 years. That will show SEO is valueable. Chatgpt write small content that helpful for users. It is like cable to youtube, Paper to email and changing everything
It’s not dead, it’s just evolved into a whole new entity. A search or desire for something will always be necessary in order to get an answer or solution to a problem.
According to Neil Patel the first reason why people block or unfollow posts and profiles is because of clickbait titles. And we all know that Neil Patel talks about SEO. So you're a rest in peace is the advertisement
With all the respect, the idea of having it done 70% by AI and then finalized by a dev is just funny to me. It doesn’t work that way and in the majority of cases the developer will have to nearly re-do everything. There is no other way to achieve good result. Just saying as a technical person. You can also find on Reddit countless stories from non-tech founders frustrated after building their products with no-code tools and AI. It’s not that simple.
You guys crack me up, as you seem to think marketing is all about outbound spam. You don't need AI for that as you've been doing it for far too long anyway.

Since 2010 Demand Generation has not changed. What is silly is that most marketers do not embrace it. Stick to that and you are good to go

Not yet, but will be soon
The fact you have to put “Reddit” at the end of every search seems like it’s on its last legs

With all the respect, we both do this with our companies and have CTOs and engineers.
