Didn't even notice the blinking until I read the comments thanks guys now I can't unsee it lmao
I actually have to say thank you so much for this video.
I've been streaming about 4 and a half years on Twitch with minimal channel growth nowadays, and it's nice to see a video that explains why these things could potentially be happening, sometimes it doesn't always come down to it being the lack of entertainment you're providing. So thank you for the tips :) Regained a bit of my confidence.
hows it going?
@Mr_Miidniight Thank you for the message! It has been going pretty well lately, have gone from 6k followers to 10k and still going strong!
THANK YOUUUUUU!!!! im actually new to this streaming online community, its soo much fun hahaha. thank you for sharing huge insights as to how we can improve.
This was outstanding. Love that you didn't worry about editing it to match the time, focusing on getting the tips in there. Not too fast though. Lots of good ideas, some I might have known about and others I had no idea. Some were fairly simple, and others a bit more technically in-depth. Well done, you have a great focused niche with your channel. Thank you for putting this together.
I always thought I'm lacking with my streaming, but it was difficult to point out what to improve other than to be more energetic. But watching this video I realized that there a lot of things I can improve on, and I wrote down a list of them. Thank you so much! hopefully I'll be a great streamer one day.

Man I am so glad that I found your channel a while back, as it has helped me and others a ton! I really cant thank you enough dude, your videos are so amazing and you are always good to explain all the things I have issues with!
The amount of editing that went into this video... Bravo sir, bravo. I have so much respect for you.
Thank you so much! Some really good tips & tricks to improve streams. Defintley learned a lot from this 😀
Honestly this video was insanely informative and I enjoyed every minute of it! Thanks for the tips, helped so much ✌️
I’m thankful that you’re here with us and teaching. I appreciate everything you do for us (the viewers) and the effort you put in each video. Even since day one.
Great video! A ton of actual useful tips people can use to improve with no filler. Appreciate you sharing!
7:41 “get a cheap mic arm” gets out one of the most expansive ones on this world😂😂
This video has genuinely helped me. I watched this did a few of the tips and had one of the most fun and popular/ active streams I’ve had thanks mate
Mate you are a godsend, so much useful knowledge and straight to the point. Fantastic editing btw, made it quite easy to understand the steps.
big youtubers/twitch streamers ignore most if not all in chat almost all of the time.
That's why I rarely watch them.
Yea there's so many messages so it's just probably easier to ignore them all together

I just began having the deepest want to stream so that I can reach out to people, and to raise money for my college tuitions. This video helped out a lot, and I am so excited to see the journey for my twitch channel. Thank you for this video!
Thank you so MUCH for these awesome tips! i started to stream this week and I'm learning a lot about Twitch and engagement with viewers and streamers! I'm a bit shy but gotta say a crazy happy person playing games. I also love design so i'm thinking in make my own overlays and everything but for now I'm enjoying the free visuals and using the OBS and StreamElements. Twitch is a fun place with great streamers. There's always a good energy and creative people around :)
I'll keep this video in my faves and follow the tips ^^
this is old, but I just came across it and it’s pure gold brother
No offence or anything. All I was paying attention was of how many times he had blinked. I think I lost count half way 😂🤔
Damn me for reading the comments first.... now that’s all I’m paying attention to 😩
@@Exrcistt lol, your welcome. Have fun counting bro
Think it's a social tick like his offside lil grin when he speaks. I have a very annoying voice when I stream gods it's way annoying
Def going to look into that over overlay it!! Just getting my twitch gear set up for both gaming/music streams!! Thanks for the tips my friend :)
This is the video that keeps on giving! 1 year later and you still droppin knowledge! Thanks bro!
All amazing tips man. Thank you!
One of the best videos I've seen of this kind. Good shit
Whow, thanks mate. This Video is very helpful and vulnerable. All the best for your future
thank you so much for this. I just started streaming on twitch and i get so excited when one of my two followers watch but i felt like I could do so much better if I wasn’t missing so much from this list
this was a great video. thank you so much! =)
It's actually interesting that I came across this video today, after doing some test streaming for the first ever last night.
Actually same... Conspiracy?
@@nathanmaxson4751 I think so. Lol
Your channel is my new addiction. I am very interested in getting my stream going with more viewers etc!
Thank you for all the advice! I'm brand new to streaming and it is so overwhelming! I really appreciate your tips and tricks!
People try to blink fast on tiktok, This dude has already beaten them without even trying.
Nice tips! I like the idea of doing 100, means even if you think you've heard it all before there's bound to be something new and different in there. I've never heard someone recommend exercising before a stream starts, I'd worry that I'd be too knackered to put on a good show, but I've definitely had those focus days and it sounds like something I should try.
This was the most helpful video I have ever seen!!! I was looking for ways to upgrade me streaming techniques to look like most streamers with the pop ups from subscribers and stuff and you gave me that and more!!! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with the world 🥺😌 much obliged.
I’ve just started streaming and I can honestly say that your videos have helped myself and so many other small streamers. I may not have many viewers but your videos have helped me make my streams that little bit better ❤️

Honestly these are fantastic tips. Anyone starting out listen to these tips they will defiantly help!
Thank you so much for the tips, I think they'll definitely help! A lot of stuff I never even considered trying, like color organization!
In a few months i will be upgrading my pc and getting a whole setup done and i cant wait :)... This has helped a lot already thank you!
This was super helpful! I started streaming last month and am having a complete blast. I only have 19 followers, but it's still a great time :) I know it's a slow to build kind of thing, but if you're having fun while doing it, that's all that matters
If you dont mind can you drop your twitch i want to see how have you done and check you out :)

Excellent stuff. my friends and I are going to start a D&D game stream in a few months. We are the research faze of getting started right now. Videos like this one answer some many of my questions. Thanks for all the great info.
Thanks for all these tips! Even as a UA-cam streamer, a lot of these are important!
I was wondering if maybe one day you'll make one specifically for UA-cam streamers?
Oh and if you'll allow me I will give a tip too:
In scenes such as at 7:48, mirroring your camera makes it look like you're looking at the game, instead of away from it :)

Fastest 14 min in my life
I love ur content it is very help full u are My fav youtuber=)
I have 3 pages of notes at the end of the video to improve on, and I am sure i will come back to this video again after i learn some things! Thankyou so much, man!
Thank you for these tips. I am looking forward to implement few of them during my streams!
That is a hard work here, appreciate with a sub .
Great video brother! I don't even mind the excess 2 minutes.... and 22 seconds... lol
What a great and helpful channel. Use your vids all the time man. Keep it up!
Thank you so much for all your help. Your an amazing content creator. Keep doing your best.
Good information! I'd probably rank 'set a schedule' higher on the list though.
Also, I'd add "don't run too high a bitrate" as a tip. Even if Twitch's max recommended rate is now 6mbps, unless you have transcodes available, it can and will cripple your stream's growth to run anywhere near that. You have to bear your viewers' connections in mind too, after all. If someone comes into your 1080p@60fps 6mbps stream and just buffers like crazy, they aren't going to even say anything... they'll just leave, and go to the next stream.
I have to disagree with a couple of these tips though.
4:50 - Absolutely incorrect. You only need to avoid clipping (hitting the very top of the mixer, so the colored dots turn white). The higher your microphone volume, including well into the red, the better. Ever get BLASTING LOUD ads? It isn't that the ads are over-loud, it's that streamers following this advice are running their audio mix *far* too quiet.
5:50 - Outdated info on capture. Game Capture is preferable, but Window Capture is almost as fast. Screen/Monitor Capture is only slow under Windows 7; 8 and above it's just as fast as Window Capture. It should still be avoided to exercise greater control over what you actually show on-stream; it's not uncommon for newbies to doxx themselves, flash porn on screen, or reveal other confidential information accidentally because they were lazy and used a screen capture.
Gaming Careers: Use a quieter mechanical keyboard
Leauge Streamers: We dont do that here
I literally just started streaming a couple days ago and found this really helpful. I'm trying to get my twitch channel up after years of telling myself I was going to eventually. So this was really helpful, I have very little to no idea what I'm really doing honestly so I need all the help I can get.😅
NOTI GANG!! Extremely helpful, thank you for taking the time for this! I know I'm late to the party but it's very informative even in the end of 2020.

Dude. I can not thank you enough. Your advice helped me so much. My channel in the last year grew +1k followers and +30 average. I come back now to thank you for these tips some being so small yet made a giant difference. Writing goals was my biggest help. Id set stream then spend 10-20 minutes swapping between games. Having the goals and achievments for the week allowed me to have much more consistency in my stream.
This is not a promotion for my channel so I won't post it. I just wanted to thank you for what you've taught here. I am now part of a stream team and slowly growing my channel!
this video was great! well done. Very valuable info! Especially the exercise tip!! Thank you bro.
This will definitely help me out in future streams!! (Even tho most are for twitch and i stream on yt xD)
Same I stream on yt but get no viewers. I would really appreciate if we could stream (I stream fortnite)

Tips are much appreciated Dude. Only streaming recently but geeking on PCs years. Hopefully these tips help me grow !
Thank you so much for all your helpful tips it’s been extremely helpful and I appreciate all your awesome advice
The thing is that I am getting no one coming to my streams so I have no one to talk to and it’s been over 3 months. I’m only getting up to 6 people and only 1 person might talk
J wow what the heck I never even noticed I could do that. So there is only like 2-3 actual people watching me then. I wish I knew what to do to get more viewers
@@Wetheuntitled maybe create a new Instagram and twitter and announce when you go live
CorvoRaven I’ll try that but I never use Twitter so I don’t even know how to use it sad thing is that I’m 18 and never used Twitter
Rounie how long usually does it take to get partner
@@Wetheuntitled I feel only people who stand out, are very entertaining or very interactive with the audience only make it to partner. but thats just my opinion. I still stream myself but i dont think of becoming a partner. If it happens, it happens but im not gonna get hyped then disappointed if i never get to partner
This is one of the best videos you've ever done. Great job, man. This covers pretty much everything you need to know about streaming in one convenient video.
Of all the tips, I'd say #41 is one of the most important. Restream can do wonders for helping new streamers finding the platform best for them. Twitch is not for everyone. I've seen plenty of streamers who struggle on Twitch go over to something like Mixer and grow much faster.
#48 is my favorite. STOP STREAMING FORTNITE!!!
I literally came here to get better at making entertaining fortnite streams…
This is actually a really cool video and it helped me a LOT when I first started! Thank you so much!
