I've been waiting for this video for so long 😭

I been waiting for this video from just any known streamer and this guy here nailed it again.....DAM you just did it again. You are never late just in time!!!!
@@The-third-eye777 good
DUDE RIGHT!?!?!?!?!?!
This video is great i sware i seen this before and used it and the algorythm (all hail the mighty google) picked it up agian. Gr8 naration editing and delivery it respects the end users time. tyvm for the content please keep making content liek this! o7 11/10. Making nubcake streamers look & sound like pros! :D
The layout and facecam overlay you have for the software tutorial of this video is SO CLEAN. The portrait orientation and rounded corners, along with the drop shadow. Super simple, but looks awesome. Idk why that stood out to me so much lol.
I spent literal hours to figure out how to make my mic sound better and this was the only video that was this in depth but also simple and easy to understand as this one, so thank you so much!
Excellent tutorial. No wasted time spent, just straight to the point. I learned a lot listening to you today. Thank you.
Just spent some time scanning your channel and the growth you had on designing thumbnails. This one is truly amazing
Thank you! I've been having problems figuring out the noise gate so I'm really excited to try switching to the Expander! Great explanations. Love it.
When I started learning how to do filters for audio, it was far less complex than I would have imaged it to be.
These videos are a great help, once I started messing with filters, I have had people mention the audio being either 'on point' from the moment they come in or the balancing for being a lot better for IRL streaming or game streaming.
Your video goes a nice step further with mic placement.
Great video, some extra tips in here I wouldn't have considered.
I love how you explain everything instead of just saying what might or might not be the best settings. Absolute gold ❤❤🔥🔥🔥
Great video. Appreciate that you took the time to explain what the settings were rather than just running through it and leaving me clueless like so many other videos do.
I've watched alot of your audio videos in the past. This by far is the best one yet. I understood alot of what you were saying and im hoping I can apply this to my microphone
Thanks, really helpful, I was not fully satisfied with my mic adjustment following other tutorial. Your explanation was clear and now my mic sounds way better.
Love this, its simple and very efficient. No bs, no time wasted, just straight to the point. Thanks dude.
This came out perfectly timed, as i needed to adjust my streaming sound quality badly since until next month im stuck with my webcam as my mic this helped a ton on the quality and with the settings already mostly in place it will be a lot easier to plug in the new mic one i get it and quickly re-adjust everything to fit the new mic as well.
Thank you so much! I've been struggling with audio so much and tried so many different ways to make it better and this really helped me!
finally Audio settings that work, Thankyou so much, i do have a few tweaks to make but im blown away with how different the sound is
Thank you so much for the video! I'll for sure be messing with these settings to add to my stream. Great work!
I've watched sooooo many videos about obs mic settings, but yours is the only one, that made my mic sound really nice and natural! Thank you so much!!!!
I discovered your channel the other day and i must say, you are fantastic on your advices and tutorials. I really appreciate your work here, great stuff!
Brilliant video. Helped so much. Thank you! But those transitions between you and Chris are amazing.
Not only do you really know your stuff, but you explain it very well too. Phenomenal video, I'll be using this to overhaul my entire stream audio tonight.
Most informal video I've managed to find! Much appreciated and great information that truly did change my microphone sound.
By far the best, most well explained mic settings video I've seen. Thank you very much.
My mind is BLOWN. I know nothing about mics and filters and this totally changed the sound of my mic. Thank you SO much for sharing this tutorial!
Thank you sir! This was extremely helpful, informative, and your instructions are very clear
Dude, this is the BEST Mic Tutorial i've seen, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
Thank you this is so helpful!
A really clear concise explanation of mic adjustment well done!
Glad I found out about the limiter. Got my Blue Yeti sounding great now. Thanks for the tips!
just a little tip, usually for vocals everything on the frequency spectrum under 100 hz is unwanted so you can cut it out. And if you adjust the bandwith of your low pass and/or hi pass band, be careful with the resonance it creates i could see that when you adjusted it you basically boosted frequencies between 80 and 100 Hz which will result in a rumbly sound that is just taking up space and will interfere with low frequencies of game music and sounds when you stream. another thing you can do is having seperate bell curved band and lowering the bandwith to something very narrow. Turn up the gain of that band and you can then slowly move it from 100 Hz up. If you hear any unwanted resonances from either a background noise or your voice you can lower the gain back down and cut it out around like -2 to -4db depending on how loud the resonance is. (you can repeat that step if you have multiple resonances just be careful to not do it too much) (btw its pretty frequent that you will have some harsh frequencies between 7k and 9khz with your " S' " and " T's ", especially if you don't have a pop filter.)
Cheers for this video! I've used slobs for so long and I'm watching your videos on switching over to OBS. I've been trying to switch for months but always found it hard. You've made it a walk in the park!
Thank you so much! I was looking for a video that covered muting the computer fan audio, but this video covered that, and basically EVERYTHING!
This is the only audio guide that actually helped reduce my keyboard and mouse clicks in my video clips thank you so much
Thanks for the help on this!
Super insightful and educational. Really appreciate the ease of the tutorial. Wasn't at all intimidated by stuff I've never touched before but instead feel confident and interested in learning more :) thanks
I'm so glad to learn that much with you! Thanks for sharing those 5 tips because they are great! I already started using the setting and feel a lot of difference in my quality suond!!
Cheers!!
As someone whom has just started out and is still a bit confused on how it all works and learning how to create better video game playthroughs for my audience this tutorial has been a life saver for me. Thank you so much!
Thanks for all the help!!
Much appreciated!
Fun stuff, as always. Glad I stayed for the outtakes!
I think out of so many videos out there you always come with the most trust it tips. I often come back to all of them when setting my computers at home. I have the same mic and is awesome. Thanks!!!
Thank you so much for making this video. I did almost everything on here and my audio sounds sooooo much better than before! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!
one of the best! thank you GC!
This is it.... this is what I've been needing and waiting for. Long gone are the days of me having to CONSTANTLY be fixing sound during stream because something happened that was louder than myself: the game being quiet then suddenly getting way too loud, or when switching from one game to another. Not to mention those moments when my voice just booms because something had me raging or filled me with joy
I've always felt so terrible about blowing out my viewers ear drums. Guaranteed this will be a very pleasant surprise for them. Every day, the stream gets better
Thank you so much for this!
Can’t wait to get this going again for my streams. I recently started to stream again and forgot I did a fresh install a long time ago to my PC so I lost my scenes and audio adjustments. Amazing video :)
Very explanatory. Good job.
this is amazing thank you!
this is by far the most efficient and effective OBS audio setup, thank you :)
This was such a great video! Thank you!
I have to say you gave me a lot of help with my mic set up. Thank you.
I still had to add in a Noise Suppression because my mechanical keyboard would constantly get picked up by my mic.
So helpful thanks man!

Very cool. I've been largely relying on the Blue Yeti software presets since I got mine setup since there are so many options I didn't understand. Some of them sound pretty good but this video helped me tune my own profile and get the best sound. Thanks!

this eq worked so much better then others thanks for all your help very very much help
nice explanation here guys...really nice and clear...keep the good job...
luv from Egypt dude 🥰
This is hands down the best video I have ever seen on compression and EQ, and I was a guitarist in a cover band in a previous life! Thank you so much for taking the time to break this down.
wtf does that mean?
@@MustardDuster Well I don't know much about being a guitarist in a cover band, but I would assume contextually that compression and EQ settings with a microphone are important. So he speaks from experience that explaining how to set and fully utilize these settings is vital.
Thank you. This really helped.
This helped a dozen, thanks
This is one of the best diy videos I’ve used on YT, thx
Quick Tip: If you do Game Streaming or reactions to other media, you can set your voice compressor to send and have a compressor with a higher ratio listening on your media (Game, Video, whatever) Audio Channel. This basically does automatic volume ducking when you are speaking. This also works in basically every video editing software which has basic audio editing features. I'm using this setup to lower background music and sounds from the recordings when I do my voice over. It's handy and it also works with OBS for live streaming. So you can get the game sound to almost the same level as your voice while you're not talking, but lower it automatically as you begin to talk. Comes in handy if you are streaming games with voiced story moments, so the characters ingame can be at a comparable volume level as your own voice, but you can always talk over and be absolutely clear, cause it's auto-ducking.
Audio Quality is a important thing to have a look at and I'm also constantly revisiting my setup and VFX-Chains. Let's do some audio magic. :-)
Absolutely awesome! I knew it could be done, but didn’t think it would actually have a good effect to the streaming. My son’s stream Lego Super Heroes and the games is constantly narrating the story. This would be the solution!
Do you know any tutorial on how to do this? I dont understand the "set a voice compressor to send", what is that?
Thanks in advance
@@oliese do you want to do this in obs or another software. It differs from software to software where you find the setting. In OBS it's simple, you can just setup a compressor on the audio source you want to lower while speaking and at the drop down menu "sidechain/ducking source" you just set the microphone source. Play around with the compressor values and voila... 🙃
Otherwise, just search for "audio ducking in *your software*"
For those using software like Vmix, which does not have a sidechain/ducking feature built in, look up WTAutomixer VST3 plugin. ua-cam.com/video/746sKNrsQmg/v-deo.html This is SUPER useful when you have several open mics and your guests get too close to one another.
@@VPGTube quick question, but for audio ducking would I also need to change some of the settings as well or can I just leave the settings as default? (I'm using obs as my software. Also sorry, I'm kind of new to these things and just wanted some extra clarification)
You're my personal hero. This and your audio separation video for obs decluttered my brain of stress.
Dude, you are a *GOD.* Thank you SO MUCH!! You're an absolute LIFESAVER.
So happy to like and subscribe. Thank you so damn much
Awesome tutorial. My audio improved lots. Thanks for the video.
Great content you're a time-saver sir! more content..
