    Thanks for sharing this with us. Hearing the the sheer joy and disbelief in your pilot’s voice is so typical of first time experiences in VR. One VR ride and 2D just does not cut it anymore, at least for me. 😂

    I remember when MSFS first came out I was so excited and enjoyed playing regardless of the ancient graphics of the time. And now, in VR I can’t help but be in awe ever time I put on that headset in MSFS2020. Younger crowd will never know just how far flight simulation has come.

      4090 + 4500-5000px per eye at 45fps in MSFS only just pushing the limits of the headset. No point in higher resolution until now. But yes, I may well upgrade now we finally have the horespower for these resolutions. If you don't understand why you need 4500-5000px per eye in a g2 (actual screen resolution 2160px per eye, see my other vid :):) )

    Do you know how much VRAM your GPU needs to have to safely fly with your VR settings - i.e. without any risk of crashing/running low on VRAM? Would you be kind enough to check how much VRAM is used by your GPU while in game?
    I'm thinking about building a VR PC -from the bottom up- to get your kind of MSFS experience. Though I'm not an expert, I have heard about a debate "12gb VRAM v. 16gb (or more) of VRAM" and the risks of being limited notably with stuttering by a GPU having only 12gb of VRAM (eg. 4070 ti). Thus, knowing how much VRAM is really needed in-game to get your kind of experience would be more than insightful before any GPU buying and would very much help me make a better choice GPU-wise (4070 ti v. 4080 ti notably, or maybe a 3090). It would be paired with an i5-13600k, 3600 DDR4 and z760.
    Thank you very much in advance, as well as for this series of very interesting and well-made videos about your settings in MSFS. Cheers!

    Yeah, i can't play on a screen anymore, i was using VR still with htc vive, that was a screen door effect shit ahahah, now it starts to become a dream, for my new headset i'm choosing from bigscreen vr and pimax crystal, and i really don't know wich one to pick, they will cost +- the same :O
    But a motion sym will make the final magic i think.
    OFC i would never be able to fly in real life, so it's like a dream XD
    For racing, i still prefer the motorbike in real life ahahah

    only VR downside is not being able to see your controls. Do you think we will reach a point when we will be able to use the VR controls with our hands?

    • @andrewp6307
      @andrewp6307 Рік тому +1

      I think like most of us VR users, I have my sidestick where the sidestick is in VR cockpit and my throttles where the throttles are, so it isn't an issue.
      It's easier than you think to use the mouse to click the odd buttons that have to be clicked. It will be nice, though, when we can use hand tracking to click the virtual buttons, etc.

    • @PoorYurik
      @PoorYurik Рік тому +1

      @@andrewp6307 Hand tracking already exists. I use it all the time in DCS. I personally use an Ultraleap, but there's also the PointCTRL. Ultraleap also makes Pimax's hand tracking module. Very functional tech.
