Mate have a look at Brooksy in Australia on the Barrier reef. The high country boys just need a drone. Instead of fighting the glare just change the angle to strait above them!!🎣
I LOL when the guide said there were bigger ones trying to help him get off!! "HEEEEEY Bill Sturgeon more head shakes should pop that hook right out". "If not we'll charge the canoe and roll them over"...lol! Great Video!
@@michaeldunson2531 Mike... they're using a barbless hook. It's about as painless as it gets for the fish. The fish didn't even eat the Trout (bait); he just wanted the exercise. They (fish) get bored too.
I can't believe behemoth like that are in that tiny water hole? That was the best video I've seen in months. From my favorite fishing guy. Because you always treat the fish so well.
What do more trophy fish of different species all have in common, they have all been face to face with TY PIG PATROL at one time. Thanks again TY, your videos and adventures are some of the best fishing footage ever made. 🏆🐟🎥👑
You have lived the life of a fisherman at heart. I like your channel because you set these beasts free. If you were an Asian fisherman, you would have a huge feast with your family. I am Asian and I know that a catch like that is considered a blessing.
Love you guys for being so gentle with these beautiful sturgeon! We have them here in New York in the Hudson river . I havent seen before how soft their eyes look. What great creatures ! And the fish too !!! :-)
I love how everytime he came up Ty says "Look at him, look at him!! So much excitement! I knew exactly when i saw where you were. I've watched other UA-camrs there too wherever that is. Would love to go one day! Congrats on the beast Ty!!
Wow! Nice video, Ty. What a huge fish. I can’t fish for anything that big, but next week I’m finally going fishing for the first time after surgery. Keep the videos coming.
Ty! What's going on man! Man that was another monster sturgeon! That Joker was pulling the boat great job man! Super cool episode I loved it! Keep on getting down!
Incredible dinosaurs these fish truly are man. I love them. Gentle giants, and some of the most incredible silent power and strength out there to boot. I find it surprising they're willing to live it up some of the time in creeks and wetlands over the usual rivers. But then again, as dinos, they've had to be some of the most adaptive creatures out there to survive so long.
Wow, I've never seen anything like this. You caught that gigantic, gorgeous sturgeon in a kayak?! I'm adding that to my "Live-It " list! Thanks for the incredible share.
Handled with incredible care. Beautiful dinosaurs they are. Once landed one that big with 6lb leader test and a 10’6” rod while fishing for steelhead. I wish I had your hardware to fight it. What a battle and unique waterway you guys have there. 🔥
Beautiful fish, much respect for the handling of the fish. I used to see big ones on the Potomac river many years ago. Could see them from the top of the cliff we camped at. Never did catch one but that's ok . Just as cool seeing you catch it.
That sturgeon thought as he flips his tail and calmly swims away, "Dang, if I'd known they just wanted to pet me and pick me up a time or two to get my picture, I'd been more accomodating!" 😃
I never peeked at the Comments to tell me what the fish was... At first I guessed a Sturgeon (we have them in the Great Lakes MI) ... But then you mentioned IDAHO??? I had no idea they were in small creeks in ID. Amazing. Is there a season to keep them?? I have eaten them once. Delicious!
Wow, thanks for sharing, we have them in the UK but its always fun too watch anglers hook and release these absolutely beautiful monster fish without hurting the fish or the angler as i recon your back and neck was hurting after the adrenaline wore off. Magnificent prehistoric fish, my angling hat come off for you sir. Here in the UK we take extreme care of our fish and even do first aid on any fresh scars or anything that looks painful too the fish, i mostly fish for Carp and we have some 45~50lb’s in my members only lake but its great too see that across the pond you also are taking very good care of the target species to ensure future catches and that this or these fish thrive in that location xa
It's amazing how sturgeon fight so hard and long, and that moment when they realize something is wrong and they are hooked, it's like the bell rings and the fight is on..beautiful fish, my personal best is only 46 pounds, and she fought like a heavyweight, trying to stay deep...nothing like a hooking sturgeon. I hooked into a much bigger white but it got off when she jumped, my estimate was it closer to 100 pound fish. I don't count it because I didn't land it, and I fought it for over 20 min, boy was I sore the next day..lol. There is something very majestic and magical about catching and touching oneof these fish, a feeling like no other fish, a true living dinosaur that has not changed much in millions of years..natures perfect creation for freshwater.
As soon as it warms up, I’ll go to Pleasant Lake (Arizona) and check on the fishing regulations around the marina where ginormous fish hang out. I’ll let you know as soon as I have answers. Thanks for sharing such great videos
That is a wonderful looking place. Thats what I feel and think I look like when I snag a 5lb bowfin in the tiny creeks I used to fish in. To be fair, that bowfin is punches way above its weight in fight.
I'M FROM IDAHO... I HAVE A FRIEND THAT FISHES THAT AREA IN A INFLATABLE PONTOON BOAT.. HE CATCHES SOME BIG STURGEON THERE... GREAT VIDEO.. KEEP THEM COMING SO I CAN WATCH MORE. ❤❤❤
This is an inspiring video to get out and do some fishing for monsters! I live close to the yampa river in Colorado and we’ve pull some monster pike out of some of the shallowest waters! One thing I ask is you put a polarizing filter on your camera so we can see the fish too!
The FishTuber that figures out polarized GoPro lenses so we can see in the water instead of reflection will be the king and have all the subscribers.
This was with polarized lenses!

Wow!! I'm so impressed with your amount of care for the fish! What a monster!!
Thank you very much!!
👍
I LOL when the guide said there were bigger ones trying to help him get off!! "HEEEEEY Bill Sturgeon more head shakes should pop that hook right out". "If not we'll charge the canoe and roll them over"...lol! Great Video!
And you let it go, that made me so happy. The level of respect you guys have gives me hope for humanity
Thank you very much!!
Isn't it endangered? In some countries it is even illegal to catch it.
Leave the damn fish alone!
Why catch it if you gonna release it? All that does is hurt the fish. If you catch a fish it needs to be eaten.

Looked to me like a large catfish

Catching big fish in a kayak isn't usually a problem. Getting them into the kayak if you are keeping them is a different story
I believe that vessel is a canoe.
What an amazing catch! Keep up the great content, love watching you!
Amazing how I get wore out watching you catch a fish Ty. I can almost feel the weight and fight of that behemoth!😁👍
What a stunning ..very willfull fish!....great teamwork....living fossils... privileged to even see this, from over here...
Another great content, that's a huge gorgeous sturgeon
Dude, the bend on that rod was insane; well done man!

It's like a literal cartoon sketch. _Fish on line pulls row boat and fishermen around the creek._ Haha!

A relaxing day of fishing that makes you soar for 3 days after 😂
Hahaha truth!
Dude you never disappoint. Wonder where those fish go in the winter? Epic vid and keep your powder dry and your pantry stocked young man 💪😎🙏
A very good video all round. A good idea too to keep a fish like that in/over the water. Good job.
WOW, 3:57 seeing that monster fighting in the clear water right next to you was insane!
Wow a lot of patience and care 🛶 🎣 🐠🐟
What an incredible catch!!! That fish was beautiful.
That was the best video I've seen in a long time.

Thanks, I always release! Thanks for watching!
