I’m sorry sir. People love to fish. Myself included. A lot of people are jerks and don’t care about fish. I’ve seen them catch them throw them on the bank to die and all sorts of other things.
What I meant by respect was Ty always spends time with the fish to make sure it’s revived. Never keeps fish out of the water long just a quick picture and puts them back.
People practice catch and release so that many other generations can experience big fish. In my opinion anyway so maybe if this stuff isn’t for you. Maybe you should watch a knitting channel or maybe go listen to a good book sir. Don’t hate on people who are living their dream.

So, I was fishing for catfish (much smaller scale) in my pond, right at the bank dangling my hook right in front of them. My dog sat and watched this futility, then waded in, gently picked up the fish, and delivered it the ground at my feet before lying down again. You could tell she thought i was kind of stupid and useless, much in need of instruction and help.

Put a fly rig on that looks like a fly. A small split shot 8 inches above the fly a small split shot. Then trophy bass. Let bottom rig slowly sink to the bottom. A lot of times, fish will bite on the fall. If the fish doesn't bite, very slight pop wrist forward to dark fly subtly. Or, very slightly lift hand just alittle bit then let fly fall. This will keep fly stationary. Popping wrist lightly towards you will slightly dark fly forward. This works best for me for fish to bite fly. If no bites move after 4 attempts. Good luck. 😊

@@randeefoerster8029 thats because the fish in the states are as supid as the people...just joking....in the netherlands whe have a fish called carp. in the netherlands they are the strongest. i now not so much big as other places in the world. however they are great sport. and yes you better go behind a tree or other plants bushes or on youre belly, you better stand/sit still. and dont talk or any other sound, or you simpley will not catch them. thats also why most carp fishers are sleeping in the wild because they are hard to catch anyway.

whats the warmest that creek gets? looks like it would be unbelievably fun to snorkel / free dive down it going with the current using some swim suits for temp.

this is was such a unique video. Like you were saying "I have been dreaming of this".. could so relate to that comment, I think us fisherman only have dreams of catching giants like this in such brilliant conditions (clear water, sunny skies). I still prefer the Bass videos, but this was one of the best videos you have put out. Thanks for your videos Ty, currently unable to fish and these videos make me feel like I am getting to

Thanks for this Ty, and all the adventures you take us on. Due to various reasons it's hard for me to get away from home overnight, limiting my fishing travels, so it's fun to watch yours. Beautiful fish! Spring creek fishing can be amazing but also challenging. There's one we call the Trout Petting Zoo. Big fish, hard to hook, hard to land. Having that little trail along the creek is nice, usually you'd encounter trees, boulders, etc. and have to fight the fish back upstream at some point. Always enjoy your vids, take care out there bud.

I was kayak fishing a few years back in south Dakota, orman dam, and hooked into what I think was a lake sturgeon, could have been a musky I suppose, either way it was large enough to pull me along as though I had a trolling motor!! Very exciting and intimidating at the same time.. needless to say, he wouldn't have fit in the yak... I had to cut it loose before I was able to get a good look at what it really was because I was close to capsizing.😩.. fun fish story🤠.. seeing that sturgeon pull you along the bank reminds me of how awesomely powerful those prehistoric fish are!! 🐟🙏🍻

Glad to see you out here in the Great Northwest, I was aware of the sturgeon going up small creeks in Idaho but I have never seen them run up creeks like that in Oregon or Washington, they usually stick to big rivers or at least medium sized rivers. They are so cool to watch jump out of the water which they just do for no known reason. Just think they get WAY Bigger than 6 feet.
