@TyPigPatrol Your more than welcome! I really enjoy, and like yours, and Henry's UA-cam channels! Makes my day every time either of you post a new video! PEACE ✌️
Ty, I'm sure you are aware of the absolute craziness going on in the world. But your work is such a great Break from the madness. You are doing a Good Work, and I believe that I'm not the only one who feels like this. Thanks for sharing your journey Home with us all. Don't Grow tired of doing Good. God Wins Biggly. Viva Cristo Rey
Man… I live in Michigan near sone of the greatest musky lakes on earth, and yet there’s nothing I’d rather catch on a Medusa than an alligator gar! Incredible to FINALLY see someone catch a gar on a musky lure (and get a hook out of a fish)!
Kathy from Wisconsin here. Been going through something's and haven't really been able to watch your videos. For awhile. Love this bait you used today. Amazing catfish😊
For being as big a monster as they are, Alligator Gar are one of the absolute sweetest and nice fish there are! They are like big puppies. I learned that you can catch smaller gar that are chomping your bait by just slowly reeling them in then netting them! You don’t even need to set the hook. Those river puppies will just happily chomp their way in! 😂
@@TyPigPatrol They are river puppies. Once you have them in and aren’t pulling anymore, they will just tend to stay. I almost feel bad about eating them occasionally.
Awesome video…definitely a great fishing trip to catch as many Crappie on artificial, I always used shiners but they weren’t caught so swiftly! Maybe I need to look into the tackle you were fishing with
You are the best UA-camr ever I have been a subscriber to you when you had around 1,000 subscribers bro love your videos man keep up the amazing work!!!! 💪🏻🤘🏻💪🏻🤘🏻
Yes, the regular bulldawgs have a single tail and there is also a double dawg that has two tails. They’re made by Muskie Innovations. I’ve had very good luck on both.
You guys are catching monsters, and I'm catching fish not much bigger than the lures I use. 😂 I caught 1 that was probably a 1lb smallie better than being skunked. There hasn't been substantial rainfall. So if tide picks up, it's still a little on the low side.
That's awesome man, never thought to use a Medusa for anything other than Pike and musky. Only thing I've caught besides those two species was an 18 inch smallmouth. I don't think it actually tried to eat it, just attacked it. I might have to try throwing this a bit more often
For a bait that big id swap those treble hooks out for ones 1 or 2 sizes bigger...that medusa is a girthy bait and the action is pretty nice. Id like to see one red/yellow with the spots being white instead of black
I caught a 175 pound halibut sports fishing near Yakutat when I weighed about 175 pounds many years ago. It took an hour to reel it in and then I was so tired it took me about an hour until I could start fishing again. Next I caught a huge skate which was like reeling up a huge sheet of plywood, even harder. After that I had enough.
When you cast that huge lure past that other boat i wonder if they thought why dont they just go over to that other side of the lake if they're going to be fishing there. bwhahaha
Do you know how much time that would waste to do that every time you wanted to cast out, it’s ok for baits you cast out and leave but a bait you have to retrieve it wouldn’t work
Join us next week to see Ty catch an Orca!
🤣
Thanks Ty ,and Henry for another GREAT Gar video! PEACE ✌️
Thanks Ronald!!!!

Always a good day when your in the boat Ty ✌️

Thanks Mike! Yeah the best part about that lure fishing is leaving no hooks in the gar!!
Another massive beast man! Truly epic fishing! Some of the best! Fish on WOOOOO!
Thank you man!!!
Great video. Great to see a UA-camr show the good AND bad in their videos. Keep up the good work Ty!
Haha always man, thanks for watching!

Absolutely huge, great catch ty with the Marisa. Keep the videos coming

Lol Medusa for the win. Best musky bait in my opinion , super fun strikes. Pull pull SMASH
So fun when they hit it on the pause!!
What a BEAST!! Awesome video, fellas!!
Appreciate it!!

Yes they are! So docile once landed! Thanks for watching!

Voodoo momma juju! One bad mamba jamba.
That's wild. On the Medussa!

Beautiful dude, absolutely well done!

What a giant. Good stuff!!
Thanks Erica!!!
@@TyPigPatrol just Eric. My last name starts with a. lol
That's wild. Amazing catch
Pretty fish, nice release.
Medusa’s are my favorite Muskie baits along with bulldawgs. Super fun baits to use.
Is a bulldawg like a Medusa but with one tail instead of 3?
Yes, the regular bulldawgs have a single tail and there is also a double dawg that has two tails. They’re made by Muskie Innovations. I’ve had very good luck on both.
Watchin you hook and then lose fish is like being in a wave pool of emotion. Lol
Trust me, it’s not much different over here 😂😂
Amazing man, wish I could afford to book one of those trips, hopefully one day!

Hey I’d LOVE to catch a smallie man!!! Keep on fishing!!
To freaking cool!!!!congrats
Thanks Bee!!!
A Gar on a soft plastic, go figure… Great catch buddy.
Thanks brother!!!!

TY waht a Beautiful creature

I have a few in my tackle from their earlier days. State park about an hour from Philly has some big Muskies.
Nice man thanks for watching!!!
those hooks look like they need some love :D keep your hooks sharp and pointy, nothing more important.
Thanks for watching!!
@@TyPigPatrol love the content for a while now! thank you for uploading! :)
Fisher lady from Wisconsin here great fish
Thank you very much!!
Beautiful 🎣 fish
Thanks for watching!!!!
Ty have you ever fished in Alaska. Would love to see you pull in a 150+ pound Halibut.
I caught a 175 pound halibut sports fishing near Yakutat when I weighed about 175 pounds many years ago. It took an hour to reel it in and then I was so tired it took me about an hour until I could start fishing again. I’ve never even been up there! Really would love to!
Out here catching dinosaurs
Trying! Thanks for watching!
Unit!!
Thanks brother!!!
Wow
Hey brother! Hope you are doing well!!!
I was using that same exact one today except Orange😂
Thanks for watching Ram!
Hey to Henry to
💜🎣
I need to do that
When you cast that huge lure past that other boat i wonder if they thought why dont they just go over to that other side of the lake if they're going to be fishing there. bwhahaha
Hahaha they were just fishing for white bass no harm no foul!
First time I saw someone take their fish for a stroll
Haha just walking my gar on a leash
Wow! Not a monster turtle!
Wonder what the wading anglers thought when you brought an adult alligator gar out of the water where they were catching white bass…
Hahaha good point
Ok bro time to use a drone to get your lure way out there
What are you useing for a leader?
I’m going to get ahold of him and see about a trip. How u will join. Sharp hooks to ya.
You should, you’d love it!!
@@TyPigPatrol yeah it’s out of my price range
Why not use a drone to drop the lure where you want. I have seen it done when shark fishing! What a pretty Gar.
Do you know how much time that would waste to do that every time you wanted to cast out, it’s ok for baits you cast out and leave but a bait you have to retrieve it wouldn’t work
Are you using Dacron to tie to the lure?
Yes, 400 lb
@@TyPigPatrol Wow. We use 80lb braid and fluoro leader targeting 150+ bluefin.
Was that a gar ?
Yes it was, alligator gar!!!
You know its a big fish when you are using full size pliers instead of needle nose for hook removal!
Hahaha truth thank for watching man!!
Hey Ty,why don’t you have a boat?
She is a dandy ❤
Come on, man.. no thumbnail making that gar look the size of an 18-wheeler? I'm disappointed.
Lowe Spring
Looks like it needs bigger treble hooks.
Hey buddy
There he is!!!
Try setting the hook
Throwing a Medusa on a spinning reel sounds painful.
Easier than you might think!!
@@TyPigPatrol lot easier using a baitcaster. You don’t need to hold the line with your finger the same way
That is a fish. Fish aren't monsters, fish are aquatic animals. (14 inch swimbait)
Tails are too long on that lure. They are missing thebhook too often just going for the tail.
The hook up rate sucks.
U don’t know how to use a bait caster 😂
