Here's what bothered me: If that Konerak boy was out in the street butt-naked, why didn't the officers arrested him for indecent exposure? They don't know the boy's age. He's has no ID on him. They can't tell how old he is. Those officers could've taken him in custody. That would've save him from Dahmer. Dahmer would've been caught when the boy is well enough to talk. Sloppy police work!

I think these are the main reasons Jeffrey Dahmer became a serial killer:
    1. His mom took drugs when pregnant with him.
    2. He drank much alcohol in an early age.
    3. His dad showed him how to cut up animals in an early age.
    4. He had a bad relationship with his mom. Most serialkillers have that.
I believe the first reason did make a chainreaction to his behaviors. He was getting stuck in strange thoughts because of brain damage.

They never even contacted any of the victim’s families to see if it was okay to make this show, they said they did but the victim’s families say otherwise. I do think that there’s a silver lining though. Thanks to this show, more awareness was brought to the Jeffrey Dahmer case. It would be nice if a cut of the money made from this show were given to the victims. Unfortunately, I don’t see that happening. If they cared about the victims at all, they would at least do something to show their respect.

Any poor single woman who's dealt with police has probably experienced them "writing off" whatever is said and not viewing them as credible. This is a perfect example. Police (in Outagamie Cty, WI) allowed a family with an accused sexual predator in the home to keep my daughter for weeks instead of returning her home. It took noting that I was opening an internal affairs investigation for them to take me seriously enough to get her home; but, her time there changed her, and it's been over a year of trying to get her back on track.

A few flashes of naive surprise on the smooth features, calculated aberration, sinuous, unusual restlessness. And in the dark loneliness of a troubled existence, the impulse takes over. Torment that takes your breath away, leaves you helpless, stunned, horrified. And an incredible performance, capable of shaking an insensitive nightmare the world has never forgotten.

One of which being sheer hopelessness, like this scene, that boy escaped and then was brought back, he had a glimmer of hope and then it was just snuffed out by lazy fucking cops. When I first heard about this story from my family I actually cried because it takes some real monsters to just take him back, but takes an even bigger monster to make that boy feel the hopelessness he did.
