I love the garden. I got some plants for my porch and a few things for outside. Plants are so expensive this year but I found a plant nursery that is cheaper and has different colors of flowers I've never seen.

Hey Friend, Happy Monday. Allergy medicine makes me drowsy all day and wanting to go to sleep as well. 😢 I love how you write down the things that you run out of as soon as you do. ❤ I love all of your weekly reset videos and seeing you get things done around your house. ❤I love that activity cabinet and the rule that you have for the cabinet. That’s the same rule I use on my patients at my job, it teaches them responsibility and theres less to clean up before leaving. ❤😊

As a teacher, I'd like to say nothing wrong with your decision. Your children are learning something of value that is lifelong that sadly, our schools no longer teach or see as important. You've taught them a good work ethic and your daily actions model that an education and going to school is important. And that is enough. Hope you all had fun on that day!

Love that your doing a flower bed you will love it very therapeutic! I would get some hostas to plant in it they come back every year and get big which is a good filler ! I would put a piece of that wood to line that spot against the steps ! Also have the kids paint rocks this summer to put in it ! 😊

Can I just say how refreshing it is to see a UA-camr who properly uses car seats. Safely keeping their little rear facing, using a 5 point as long as possible. Agree about the car seat! I have 3 kids! My son is 11 and still in a booster seat! My girls are 8 & 7 and they’re in 5 point car seats !!!🙌🏻
Yes, I would hate for something to happen to my kids knowing I didn't use maximum precaution to prevent it. My husband wanted to turn Jackson around when he turned one. He thinks he is too long and has no leg room, but he's fine. My 5 and 6 year olds are around the sake height and weight and small, so I don't want to switch to a seat belt too soon.
@@MarieLoveAsbury my son is 11 and in a booster !!! Safety first - always !!!! My kids are all small for their age! My son doesn’t look 11, he looks maybe 8!? So def keeping him in a booster for awhile!

You can control how often you clean your fridge as long as you are the one going in and out of it. When your children get older, you may find yourself cleaning it out more often…but deep cleans we do as needed. Great vlog! Full of motivation

Your garden looks fabulous! Wondering how the kids like the toy cabinet by now? It turned out really well. I saw you had a couple of "Pete the Cat" books. A couple of years ago, we were in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. We were going through the downtown, and one store had a whole bunch of those books for sale. The illustrator of the books was in the store, and he said that the books were based on his real cat, Pete.
They love the activity cabinet! It's way better and bigger. We have more space for all of there things.. and it's wide instead of deep so we can see everything easily. Yes, we love the Pete the cat books.

Marie, that was me that told you about the Compassion Flower. It does smell like perfume, and it lasts for HOURS after you clean. I clean my house, leave, and can still smell it when I come back home. :)

Your flower bed is looking so pretty. I love the yellow Calla lillies and the pink geraniums. I love how you spread out everything to give the flowers room to grow. You picked some very nice flowers for your garden. If you plant anything else in your garden be careful of the types of flowers you put in it because some flowers just take over everything. Make sure you do your research before planting. You did great with the 2 kinds you picked. I loved seeing your kids help you. Nolan looks so cute riding his bicycle. Your spaghetti looks delicious ❤😊

Your aloe vera is nice…healthy! Aloe Vera plants are so good for many things! Especially burns…you could of applied a little on your pretty pink face!😊. Hi Marie! Your new flower garden looks lovely and will provide months of beauty for your home. I think it would enhance your porch and provide a boundary for your flowers if you nailed some white wood or plastic lattice around the sides of the porch. I think the sheets of lattice aren't too expensive, but I'm not sure.

Girl I bought an aloe plant a few weeks ago to put by my sink. I did not realize how big they get!! I saw a GIANT one at Aldi of all places and now I’m just thinking where the heck I’m going to put mine when it gets that big 😅

Hi, Marie, the garden is a great addition. See how your plants do. Often you need to add compost to your soil before adding plants, but maybe you’ll be lucky and have awesome soil.🌸

Cabinets like that are a game changer. I have a similar setup in our dining room and the target bright room clear organizer drawers fit it perfectly to hold all of their crafting, school supplemental activities, and homework 🙌 I don’t think I could ever go back to not having a cabinet next to the table now that we’ve had it 😂
I like having all of their arts/crafts/puzzles next to the table because that is where they use them at anyways. I have two of the clear organizers from Target and they fit perfectly!

Marie: I always worry about sounding like a know it all but I love gardening and have been doing it for over 30 years. Your aloe will do fine with the potting soil you used but will thrive better if you use the cactus and succulent blend. Also for your garden, grow plants based on the amount of sun that area gets. The impatiens u planted (the white ones) like more shade and the geraniums you planted like more sun. They should do okay based on if that area gets morning sun and not hot afternoon sun. (As much as I watch, you’d think I’d know what that area gets. Lol) The calla lilies (yellow ones in back) usually bloom for only 6-12 weeks depending on how long they were blooming before you bought them so at some point will be greenery only but that’s okay. Don’t cut them back til fall as they will bloom better next year. I read one viewer’s suggestion for hosta lilies but just know that you will need to get the variegated kind if there is a lot of sun. They are beautiful and easy to grow, so great suggestion. Also one viewer suggested the compost before the mulch which is ideal but since you already have the mulch down, get you some Espoma (definitely not sponsored lol) Garden Tone and add some around the plant in a circle fairly close to plant and water in and then add some more in about a month. Btw, it stinks! 😂 Sorry for such a long thread-just love your videos and how much your viewers love you!

Your flower bed is so pretty. The yellow flowers in the back are Calla Lilly. They will come back every year and get pretty big. Just cut them back to ground when they quit blooming. Also loved your new cabinet. It matches your table perfectly 😊❤

I just ordered a meal planner for my house. Hopefully it will help with the meals. This is my second year trying a garden. I have some plants growing. I need to go water them but I will do it in a bit. I live in Arizona but hopefully we can move to Georgia. I liked it when my ex was stationed at Ft Benning. It was humid but not as bad as the dry heat here in Arizona. But I use cedar chips to help retain moisture, and peat moss. My two year old likes to help, even if it is just standing there. Nothing wrong with keeping kids home for a day. I am making over my room and daughter’s next month. This week we also have someone coming to measure my home for vinyl flooring. Yay no more carpet. I took Spring down already because it feels like summer. And slowly getting more summer decors but not going overboard.
