Hi Ali, im not against medication. As a matter of fact, i used to have meds for every little thing. However, as i got older and realized meds are just a bandage to the root of the problem. I seek podcasts of Drs who use alternative medicine to treat their patients ailments. As a general rule, this are the core ingredients to a better health. Our body is made up of 98% water. If we are dehydrated our body begins to act up. Did you know thst most of our mental issues are due to our brain not being hydrated enough? It blew my mind. A game changer for me. So, here are the ingredients our body needs. Water, sun, enough adecuate sleep, meditation. Meditating on God and His Word is the very best meditation ever., a well balanced diet. I stick mostly to Mediteranean diet. Stay away from sugar. It creates inflamation leading to pain. Other diets may be also good but I stick to the one that suits me. Last but not least a walk after dinner. Exercise is excellent, but if not able at least a good daily walk is good. I no longer take any meds and feel good for the most part. Of course, when the body was built in the wrong foundation, lack of the above, consequences happen and the journey begins. Sooner than later i will be completely healed. God has giving us everything we just need to use it to our advantage.
I love your videos!! You inspire me and give me good ideas for organizing. I have been decluttering my belongings for three and a half years now. It took me awhile because I work full time and I have a child. Plus housework to do. So because of this my time to declutter was limited. But three and a half years later, I own less and I can have my belongings organized. I got into the habit to not buy a lot of stuff to help keep clutter away. My husband is a hoarder. My husband refuses to let go of any of his stuff. It's hard living with a hoarder.
Hey Niiiice ahhh i love when bags are filled and homes actually decluttered. Not stuff put in another boxes and re-organized in the same place arrg i can´t stand watching that crap. I declutter stuff i do not organize until i´m completely done then i clean.
Tip: hang measuring spoons or even measuring cups inside cabinet door with command hooks. Frees up drawer space for something else. Mine are hanging on my spice cabinet ( upper) beside my stove. Also I hang my oven mitts inside upper cabinet by oven and that frees up another drawer.
Your decluttering videos are immensely helpful to me. Thank you..especially for the thinking out loud aspect. I don't feel as alone in some of the tough decisions that will ultimately benefit our home. Kudos!
I have spices in the little white shallow bins like you do and I actually made a label for the front of each bin that list everything that is in that particular bin. I just printed it on card stock and then covered it with packing tape so that it would stay clean. I taped to the front of each bin and it has been working really great!
Great idea!! I totally agree! If you don't think that you can' get a lot done in a few minutes, put something to reheat in the microwave and start cleaning the clutter, or wash the dishes, etc. The microwave first taught me how much I could accomplish in a few short minutes. Great stuff! Thank you!
I'm so so.glad you shared with us about how clutter and etc was affecting your mental health. I thought I was crazy for being upset and feeling like I was loosing it over clutter and the house being in a disarray.
I will preface this advice with the following: If it can be shattered, exploded, and/or completely destroyed in the kitchen, I have a merit badge. I learn best by doing and am on a mission to help others learn from their mistakes before they make them themselves. I have not read all the comments, and perhaps this has already been addressed. During the stovetop clean portion, please research two key products: Bar Keepers Friend Multipurpose Cooktop Cleaner and Scotch-Brite Scratch Free Glass Cooktop Pads (they are purple). These products can be used independently or together, gently. The BKF powder you are using is abrasive, and the flat blade you are using can easily damage the surface. I say this with the history of cracking one stove top and completely removing the circle rings from another. Expensive lessons. The key is to apply the BKF Cooktop Cleaner and allow it to marinade for several minutes on a cooled-down surface, of course. I have learned that if I wipe down the stove after use on a regular basis, the Scotch-Brite Pad works wonderfully and without any added cleaning solution. Simply water. Tips from a person who learns the hard way.
Thank you. I feel stressed when my house has stuff sitting in little piles. I often wondered why I would feel so cranky when I would come home to pile here and a pile there. I have learned this is a trigger.😊
Just found you. You don’t ramble. You explain what you are doing and why helps us in our decision-making process. I love decluttering videos. I’m subscribing. I don’t use wash clothes either. Don’t feel guilty! Hanging onto things isn’t going to improve anything. As I am currently decluttering and reorganizing my house, I have donated a trunk and back seat full of things I don’t use anymore to Goodwill and 2 trunks full to our local Hospice resale shop. It takes the sting out knowing they will be put to better use than taking up space on the garage shelves. As for me, clutter is extremely stressful for me. I am including visual clutter. I hate to have to search for anything and I have learned that if you have a place for everything you are much more likely to put things where they belong. Repetition will make it a good habit in little time. You are just like millions of us, including me! Today, I put the oven on to preheat. That would take about 5 minutes. Instead of sitting down until it was ready, I went over to the dog corner and reorganized the drawer for their meds, leashes, etc. and it looked wonderful! And I felt great. ❤ Shirley

Thank you ! Love Dawn The minimal mom. Set the timer 15 minutes 1 small thing I need to do done . Small set of chest of drawers cleaned out washed down and ready to go to my son's house ! Win.....
I came away from this video with two important lessons... #1 Getting a space even partially decluttered is better than not starting at all. & #2 Watching others declutter inspires me to do likewise. Decluttering WHILE I've got a video on is great encouragement. 👍
I just came across your channel yesterday I watched some I love the 15 min declutter ideas did scribe thank you so much for for all your help and encouragement I did start in my clothes closet as I listen too you 😊have a great day and weekend
Also in linen closet just lose the space in the sides. Putting things away will be easier. More likely to stay organized if you don’t need to slant things a certain way to get baskets out or in.
I thought i was a perfectionist until i realized I'm an asthetically pleasing kind of person. Its a big difference. Im not correcting you, just sharing my findings.
My goal in decluttering is that I will have a zen like look. Even though I'm not a minimalist because everything I have I use and will use in the very near future. However, I will definitely not buy anything until I have used up everything I have and or purposed it/repurchased it. Since I'm going for the Zen look. I will make soji screens or some sort of screens where I don't see the clutter.
I had two pair of leather shoes I loved and I thought I’d be smart and be ready to wear them However I learned that the rubber can rot and them new shoes I really loved couldn’t wear them … my Lesson I don’t buy shoes in advance to wait to wear 🌺 That has helped me only keep shoes I actually wear thé up side I look forward to new shoes as needed Love your video 🌺
Hi Ali, PLASTIC DRAWERS CONTAINER is the BEST AND FASTEST way to store medication (if you don't have to worry about little kids or put the plastic drawers high). Just pull the plastic drawer open take out what you want and close. NO LIDS AND NO PULLING THE CONTAINER OUT OF THE CUPBOARDS.
Hi, this is my first time watching your videos. I don't know if you changed your ways of doing things, but on the first video. It might help if instead of having a recycling bin inside the house, if you have it outside. Might help to take them out as soon as they come into the house. Ex. Boxes, cans, bottles, papers etc.
9/15 Thanks for sharing I have been going through the same thing. That's why I watched your video. Also others video 1:08:42 are going through mental issues too. Thanks you are helping a lot of people!!
Hi I’m new to you channel and yes I have a hard time to through things like pillow case because it’s not use out or if I have one . Then I say this is good for my rage rug , then I saw you t throwing your sheets away . No don’t throu out that blanket lolllll 😊
I have my water bottles in a deep drawer they stand up and can see them all at a glance. Can you put them in that drawer with the lunch boxes but laying down. Or buy those long slender Target y-weave bins and put two side by side and they you can slide they in and out.
That's a good idea. I don't have deep enough drawers and I don't think they would all fit in the drawer with the lunchboxes. That is a pretty shallow drawer. I like the idea of the baskets, but I think the cupboard is too narrow to fit more than one. But I might give it a shot!
@@laurenmeyer42257 I haven’t tried it before, but I do like have both an instant pot and rice cooker so I can be cooking something in the pot and rice at the same time.
Wow, the more you talk, the more we have in common. When it comes to compulsion buying, I came to the hard realization of seeing how many thousands and thousands of dollars I literally have thrown away. Im ashamed to admit it but its the truth. Once I came to that painful conclusion. I decided not to throw away money. Instead, I internet shop. How? I go through the websites that may have the items I "need" or want and put them in my cart. I close the site and revisit it a month or 2 after. If I still need it, i buy it. Or go to the store for it. By then, I usually delete the item or the store already deleted it. That is how i deal with compulsive shopping. Another way, i just purposedly stay away from all the stores. Just limit myself to make a list of what i need and stick to it.
Non you are not alone . I did a depression also thought saying to mine just couldn t do every thing done now I say to my self when I want-to buy some I say is it a need or a want most of the I put back on the self
@@reallifewithali oh good .. I found it cooked to hot and fast .. but I have a OLD crock pot ... but I do use my IP almost daily . glad it working out for you ..
Clutter gives me great anxiety. I have slowly been tackling different zones in my house to declutter. I started with my bedroom which should be a place of peace and rest. My parents have a lot of clutter in their home which gives me anxiety, and I am positive it gives my mother anxiety as well. She always seems overwhelmed and never truly happy. I want to help my parents declutter their home, but I also don't want to overstep my bounds as their child. It's difficult.
@@cakedupkevin Yeah that is a hard line to cross! It took me a while to realize that clutter was a big part of my anxiety. Maybe your mom will see how your home is helping you and she will want the same. 🙏🏻
with gifts, i try to remember, "when i do NOT get a gift from someone, i am not offended. when i DO receive a gift from someone and it is not something i wanted/needed, i hate to figure out what to do with it." so i try not to get people things that i DON'T know for sure that they want/need.
One big thing in a woman's life is hormones. They can make everything seem so much more difficult. To me, you sound very normal. I admire the ways you have set up systems to help you keep things in order. 😊❤🙏
Yes they all have chores. My husband works a lot for sure and pulls his weight. My kids are learning. I am trying to teach them the best I can. I am a perfectionist and want them to do it how I would! 😬

Thank you ! Love Dawn The minimal mom. Set the timer 15 minutes 1 small thing I need to do done . Small set of chest of drawers cleaned out washed down and ready to go to my son's house ! Win.....

Welcome!! Thanks for coming!
I came away from this video with two important lessons... #1 Getting a space even partially decluttered is better than not starting at all. &
#2 Watching others declutter inspires me to do likewise. Decluttering WHILE I've got a video on is great encouragement.
👍
@@faithrada I love this! I agree with both those lessons. Thank you!
I just came across your channel yesterday I watched some I love the 15 min declutter ideas did scribe thank you so much for for all your help and encouragement I did start in my clothes closet as I listen too you 😊have a great day and weekend
Thank you! I'm glad you're here.
Just discovered your channel!
Very inspiring. You have definitely motivated me!
Awesome 👍👍
Awesome! Thank you! I'm so glad.
Also in linen closet just lose the space in the sides. Putting things away will be easier. More likely to stay organized if you don’t need to slant things a certain way to get baskets out or in.
Great thought. I went with keeping the sides clear. It’s been great!
You just help me to start decluttering thanks 😊
@@barbarahatfield8027 You’re welcome!
Bonnie had the coolest folding blankets method I just saw yesterday. It makes blankets look amazing and resistant to unraveling
Cool! I’ll have to check it out. Thanks!
❤ a compilation video to body double while I handle my "To Dos" 😊.
@@molee8863 Yay! 👏🏻
I thought i was a perfectionist until i realized I'm an asthetically pleasing kind of person. Its a big difference. Im not correcting you, just sharing my findings.
Interesting thought. 🤔
Good idea!
I had two pair of leather shoes I loved and I thought I’d be smart and be ready to wear them
However I learned that the rubber can rot and them new shoes I really loved couldn’t wear them … my Lesson I don’t buy shoes in advance to wait to wear 🌺
That has helped me only keep shoes I actually wear thé up side I look forward to new shoes as needed
Love your video 🌺

Hi Ali,
PLASTIC DRAWERS CONTAINER is the BEST AND FASTEST way to store medication (if you don't have to worry about little kids or put the plastic drawers high). Just pull the plastic drawer open take out what you want and close. NO LIDS AND NO PULLING THE CONTAINER OUT OF THE CUPBOARDS.
Thanks for the suggestion!
I just subscribe. I need to be doing the very thing you are. How to be motivated is to do the hard thing, getting started.
@@cynthiaakacyndsmith6539 Getting started is definitely the hardest part!
That is a good idea, but I know everyone in my house won’t do that. 😜 It’s a lot easier to just drop it in the bin in our kitchen.
The clear containers from TJMax work well in the fridge or pantry for the little items that tend to get lost.
That’s actually what I purchased them for! I didn’t like having them in the fridge. I put a couple different containers in there. Thanks for the idea!
I bought mine from Amazon. They were smaller than yours. I tend to end up with a bigger mess than I started. It’s nice to see it’s not just me.😅
@@michellevickers825 Haha. You’re not alone! 😆
New subscriber. Been starting to organizing
@@sherrypettit5552 Welcome!
Amazing! 👍
Thank you!
Definitely don’t need the extra recycle containers around the house, just take them out! It’s wonderful!
@@laurenmeyer42257 Yeah, we could do that, but I think people would put them in the garage instead of taking them out to the can. Lol.
Great job!❤
Thank you!

I have found that; the best cookies ever are made with cake mix( try the yellow fist) 1 cube of butter,2 eggs and 1/2 cup water( more if needed).
Thanks for the recommendation!
9/15 Thanks for sharing I have been going through the same thing. That's why I watched your video. Also others video 1:08:42 are going through mental issues too. Thanks you are helping a lot of people!!
@@elondadillon76 I appreciate your comment. Thank you! ❤️
I feel you should keep a glass pan lid for your new frying pan ❤
I probably should have. I’m not sure it would have fit.
When your amazon box came in and you first opened it, i thought it was an undershelf organizer. That might be an idea?!?!
That’s a good idea. I do use those in other areas too!
Thank you it helps
You’re welcome! I’m glad it helps.
You should take one of the shelves in closet to Home Depot, have it cut & measured to the same length, for extra space.
@@dionnemcneil4992 Good idea. Thanks!
Thank you for this! I just donated 75% of my linen closet. Why do I have so many sheet sets?!😅😂

I would donate the cleaner. Someone would probably appreciate it.
Thanks! I did!
Hi I’m new to you channel and yes I have a hard time to through things like pillow case because it’s not use out or if I have one . Then I say this is good for my rage rug , then I saw you t throwing your sheets away . No don’t throu out that blanket lolllll 😊
@@barbarahatfield8027 Hi!👋🏻 Glad you’re here!
I have my water bottles in a deep drawer they stand up and can see them all at a glance. Can you put them in that drawer with the lunch boxes but laying down.
Or buy those long slender Target
y-weave bins and put two side by side and they you can slide they in and out.
That's a good idea. I don't have deep enough drawers and I don't think they would all fit in the drawer with the lunchboxes. That is a pretty shallow drawer. I like the idea of the baskets, but I think the cupboard is too narrow to fit more than one. But I might give it a shot!
Brings me less stress when house is less cluttered
Yes, me too!
Instant pot does rice as well!
@@laurenmeyer42257 I haven’t tried it before, but I do like have both an instant pot and rice cooker so I can be cooking something in the pot and rice at the same time.

@@MT-red4212 Haha. Its true! ❤️
You could probably make some wooden bins the exact shape and dimensions of you weird closets.
That’s a good idea. Thanks!
Smart! I love that idea. Thanks!
Here is a great space saving tip. You can declutter/sell many kitchen appliances by investing in a Thermomix TM6.
Thanks for the tip. I’ll look into that.
Non you are not alone . I did a depression also thought saying to mine just couldn t do every thing done now I say to my self when I want-to buy some I say is it a need or a want most of the I put back on the self
I love it! ❤️
Please don’t throw sheets or towels out that are stain or torn, donate to your local animal shelter
Good idea. Thanks!
You pan lids turn upside down on top of your pans so they don’t have to be separated

🤣 I know! Rarely. I'm thinking kids parties, but my kids are too old for that now. Haha.
Smart! Thanks for the suggestion.
