I know what you mean about the snacks...I keep three of my grandkids daily (1,7,10),and they eat us out of house and home! From the time they wake-up till the time they go home!

Hey Mrs Marie! I know having a large family is tough at meal times you want spent together.
Have you ever thought of maybe getting a dining nook? I think you have enough room for it and it will sit from 6 to 8. Plus, you can still keep your new storage cabinet. Just a suggestion. Hope it helps!

I have 3 kids, 2 teenage boys ( 18, 14) and my 2 year old daughter. I am not a morning person either. I struggle to get up with my alarm but I hardly get up to it. But I start with getting the 2 yr old cuz she is up by then, the boys not so much. But yeah I get breakfast started, my boys are attuned to bacon so they are up when they smell it, and my coffee. But afterwards it is cleaning and what not. Though I am planning to take the kids to Tombstone and the Grand Canyon this year. We live in Arizona so it is a fun day with short ish travel time. I loved picking strawberries when I was small. We lived in Illinois at the time ( mid to late 80s) and when my dad wasn’t working ( US Navy) he, mom, and I would and it was loads of fun. My ex takes boys in fall for Apple picking. Enjoy your week…

Hi Marie. It's good you give your kids creative projects to do during the summer instead of just allowing them to veg out in front of the TV or be on their tablet all day. But, you know it's okay to just do that from time to time when you need a break. And don't feel any guilt for doing it or allow others to make you feel guilty. Trust me, it didn't harm my son in the least. Lol.

Man I commend you for keeping a 7am morning routine. I can’t seem to get up till 11 am and I stay up a little late to have some me time. But I need to change that for sure
The only reason I get up around 6-7 is only because I have to. 🤣 That's what time my kids get up. Can't have my toddler up without me.

We are from Georgia too. We use to visit six flags a lot but haven’t visited this year. As we get older we just don’t enjoy the rides like we use too.

Wow, Marie, does your husband work 7 days a week? 😮
He works Mon-Fri and spends weekends doing yard work. For example: yesterday was Sunday. I spent the day taking care of the house and kids, cooking, sitting outside alone while they played while my husband cleaned out/organized and decluttered his building, cut grass and weed eated.
