Does the Petrol Automatic have dead pedal?
“Distinguishable”? Really? LOL
Hey guys, where was this video shot? Was it near Nashik?
Yes @@NaveenArur
woow panoramic sunroof. a must have feature in 45C indian heat. what an innovative solution by indian manufacturer for Oversmart indian consumers. brilliant👽👽👽👽
Sorry to say but who opens his sunroof and drive on Indian roads in this scorching heat and temp of 45°c ?

Cannot blame them for selling what sells. Indian consumers run behind features without much thought. They are just providing what PPL want.
nikhil s wife in future : baby tell me those magical words
nikhil : i am under 6 feet tall and seat is set to my seating position ☺😝🤪🤠
True story!
Present - not future. 😅
Nowadays rear seat is designed keeping Nikhil’s review in mind. Perfect fit

Pratap bose tried to keep front design like XUV 700, but placed head lamps in odd position. So front design is subjective to everyone. Interior is 🔥
Bro they've got a lot more designers. Pratap Bose was always the face. I'm a car designer myself. They've bought Italian design houses. Like pininfarina.
@@shobhitk11 that is part of Mahindra for a while now, I am sure they would have walked away from this project early on. This is definitely Mr Bose and his weird designs
Subjective? It's down right ugly
@@shobhitk11 Even after having the Italian P design is like a cartoon.Old 300 looks Ms Universe next to this cartoon character
Well priced, good engine, spacious and safe. The only drawbacks are the polarising front design and small boot space.
Looks somebody doesn't like the exterior, But I like this so much. Only now I understood how subjectivity works.
I don't use the word "ugly" a lot in daily life, but when describing this car, its appropriate...
Pehle apna mu Aayne me dekhle.
Check your eyes…I felt XUV 300 from back was ugly but this one looks really cool
ugly? looks khoobsurat to me
Yes... We were missing bigger sunroofs in the current summer season.
Remove the parcel tray and the boot space at par with rivals. Great logic mahindra.
I saw the new XUV 3XO today.Looks good .AX5 variant offers terrific bang for your buck.
Yes. Some Mahindra haters are jealous of its design and criticizing the vehicle.
250rs for one comment ?
Agreed
@@R_Umesh_Chandra front looks hideous tho
@@callingbell-ix5se the desing will grow on us when this will sell 50k units quickly and you see it everywhere
Most segment first features will probably get removed by the next year. Features will be cut & prices will be increased. Lower variants will never show up at the showroom till the next yr and only top variants will be delivered.
It's classic Mahindra strategy. That's precisely the reason i didn't buy the xuv 300 coz they removed the 17 inch wheels which were my favourite 😢.
Features were cut?
@@sounakbatabyal yes xuv 300 came with heated orvms, 17 inch alloys, 2 request sensors, footwell lighting & many more features when launched in 2019, with every model yr they removed features & increased the price.
Design is just beautiful. Its got everything, an suv buyer needs
Designing is so good that it doesn't look chopped off from the rear now.
@Gagan.K.Narang design was never a problem. Problem is the pathetic mahindra strategy that i mentioned.
Even very successful designs by mahindra like scorpio and xuv etc are not really beautiful by the law but mahindra designs are always like this some worked some other failed.
I personally think in daylight and real world conditions it looks good and it will start to grow by the time.
Exactly
No it will not
Even the most beautiful design in the world is not liked by everyone so it won't work for everyone.@@videosulllike3110
Every time when a new car is realised in mahindra it's always a driver focused car..... Love to live with mahindra...
Thats an excellent design. Previous gen xuv 300 looked disproportionate with large frontal and suddenly cut back. If u observe, the head lights are pushed back to give a feeling of proper proportion from side angles.
thats because they did cut the back, for the proper proportion take a look at xuv 400 and thats the original Ssyangyong Tivoli proportions, all said and done the new design is yuck!!
New design sucks...xuv300 the best design ever
Really you are joking right 😂
Both design sucks
Guys TGDI vs MPFI, which is better for city use?
Interiors are a definite step up, and honestly, I liked the previous exterior styling. This connected type tail light section drops the distinctive look of all cars. A definite step up as a product though, if only the exterior was more eye candy, but maybe, it looks better in real life. Tough competition for Nexon now
brezza is the only car without led bar at rear end and looks pleasing in the enitre segment
love the way nikhil takes jabs at himself for example @ 6:55 ,for his huge frame🤣😂🥰

Dont know why this design just keeps growing on me ♥️🔥🔥 it has a own unique look among all of its segment.
Does it also hve the plastic back (boot space door) like the xuv700?
What should be the choice b/w diesel and tgdi engines from the POV of a driving enthusiast ?
The shiny front looks really cool. This should be a night riders car, as this panoramic moon roof is perfect for star gazing. White interior will give an airy feel, but the headroom and under thigh support in back should be improved.
Must say Mahindra design team has done a great job...side profile looks ok but the front n rear design is amazing!!!
Indian customers never really think about what is actually useful, why does a car sold in a tropical country need a goddamn glass roof? Especially in this scorching heat the sunroof just makes it harder for the car's AC to cool.
Looks Good. The interiors are very stylish. Seems to drive well too. Overall good value for money.
This design will definitely improve Nexon sales.
3XO will beat Nexon facelift
True
😂🤣 Very well said, true.
lmao, who is even buying that trash 🤣🤣
Well said
It really looks good!! Idk why people are not liking its look.
they are haters
That's because looks are totally subjective. Same thing beautiful to someone might be totally ugly to others and vice-versa.
the front headlamps drl dont match the shape of the border so it looks odd, It almost looks perfect but its slight skewed
@@TheTwinPost Yeah but it's getting way too much hatred and trolling. I can understand about those who own a previous gen Xuv300. It will be a bit weird to digest it. But those who don't even own a single car?
@@prathamsalvi4027 I would say we can't know who owns a car or not from comments posted on UA-cam + people would lie through their teeth just to win the argument.
Honestly initial pics of this car made me go "wtf just happened" as well. But after watching few videos and on-road clips in traffic I don't find that bad...love the rear though. Plus I like the fact that this car doesn't come with any low-powered naturally aspirated engine at all and the petrol AT is proper torque control unit
Can anyone share their experience with the Toyota Hilux seats? Curious about how comfortable they are on long drives. and Galaxy Toyota shoroom is best in Delhi?
Can you suggest some cars that are good for larger framed individuals like you and me?
I wanna go inside mahindra’s design centre and ask them why they didn’t extend the horizontal part of the led DRL atleast a little more to the centre!
What you said makes so much sense. Would definitely make the design look better.
While at it, please whack the designer for writing the extinction chapter of XUV300 series. XUV700 he had only the logo designed from him and post that it is steady downhill, look at that copper garnish in xuv400 and now this. xuv400 is a neat vehicle if the copper garnish is removed. See what happened to Nexon after he left Tata, the design language this person uses is definitely controversial. It makes one cry. Atleast I am happy that I don't want any Mahindra vehicle right now.
yeah felt the same... DrL could have been extended slightly
design is so flawed that DRL alone can't fix it. ugly lines and bulges and creases without any coherence. Not to mention the weird front with geometric lines that have no begininng and end. Only relief is in the rear and interiors. Otherwise the front looks very agricultural.
@@nagki The DRL’s are the basics they should do! I second everything else you said. Also, even the grille screams cheap.
AX7L had panoramic sunroof. will there be any issue during rainy seasons?
I liked the old XUV 3OO's front styling. It looked like a proper SUV. All they needed to do is fix the rear and probably tweak the front a bit. Instead... They go ahead and destroy the front end by scooping the light inwards and making it vertical. Then they add a led strip to the rear... makes it look very ordinary. 👎👎
The most which attracts me was the front but now they destroyed it
For me, the old XUV 300 was the ugliest design on par with Xpresso. This is better but still unattractive.
Just saw it yesterday and took a test drive too.
The diesel engine is powerful and the gear shift in manual are very smooth. However the AMT in diesel is not upto the marke. The biggest let down in the car is the booth space and leg space in the rear seat.
I wouldnt like to give an extra 3 lakhs for this car compared to the old one, especially for a panoramic sunroof and ADAS feature.
I don’t know why people would not like the front end? It looks extremely dynamic! Rear end too is superb. The only reason that could hold it back could be limited boot space! Otherwise it has good looks, classy interiors, great engines, perfect ride and handling package, big space inside cabin, impressive list of features. What more could one ask for? And it’s well priced too!
its a style which takes a little itme to get used to .. the place near the headlamps look a little too rounded if you ask me .. i would have preferred a little more straight lines .. but i guess it might be for pedestrian safety ..
Looks pretty sick. The size makes it look small but chunky, which is cool. I would change the front grill to a matte one like the Endeavour, and put chunkier rubber to make it look like a modern “suv” in some sense. They should do a version of it like that.
‘Distinctive’ face? That’s a design that is sure to jolt a corpse to sit up in shock.
No.
Great review as usual.
Is that glove box cooled?
A country suffering from intense heat waves and a debilitating summer sun, but sure, a sun roof is more important to buyers than ventilated seats. Because then your kids can stand and look through the roof while you drive, and then when you brake hard..
Kids are there to show off how much papa spends on sun roof
Ventilated seats are a must in India. Learnt driving this year and mannnn, I already regret not having ventilated seats
Judging from the market response, panaromic sunroof is the most required feature for Indian buyers. Blame yourself, friends and family.
Design is definitely better than my xuv300 and so is the bootspace... What i would have liked is to have is the TC auto with the diesel trims.
Why do we expect a dead pedal in a manual vehicle ?
All company should have given option to customer whether they need panaromic sunroof or not.
They should give ventilated seat instead of sunroof.
Due to some customer over rating in sunroof as luxury one all company made this option of sunroof and which backfire for customer later in periods.
Guys kind request always put in thumbnail what varient you are reviewing.. Viewers will think on ,8L will get all these
With indian summers making new records in temperature, the dual zone AC is the more exciting segment first, rather than paromicsunroof that compromise rear passenger head room.
Surprisingly as I see it more and more I have started liking it's design. I think many can feel the same.
Brilliant idea Mahindra to put the most scratchable panel right at the front where all the dust will hit first. Bravo!!
Compared to previous model, this has a unique look at the same time aggressive. Many will buy just for that aggressive look.
my friend was telling he spent 15 min on 3xo and left and going to book nexon.
and that big sunroof feel is a cost cutting and less safety option.
Are seats height adjustable?
Many will say it is not good looking, but I will be honest this design will grow the more time is spent.
Hi bhatius, Your review was awesome. Big fan of you sir. The way you present a car reviews was unique & superb in all the way. @autocarindia1 Team, Please do 3XO vs Nexon comparison video.
Solid build quality inspires confidence in longevity.
Sir 3xo AX5L petrol mt is value for money or not?
Sir my budget is 15 lak maximum monthly drive 200km,safety important, 10-15 year rakni hai.
Any suggestions on this you should also suggest others variant or Car's?
Go for it.
Well, Mahindra has good track record removing as much features as possible one year in to the launch.. so you may have to see what you really get at the time of buying.. note - iam a xuv300 owner..
Rear crossing traffic alert assist available?
I genuinely like the front end, has character compared to the previous really mundane looking model. There is also the fact that with any of the current designs the twin peaks logo never really worked but with this grill it just looks right. Untill now I never liked the new logo but here it looks nice & futuristic. Rest is alright too. Wheels are a meh!
That 4 cylinder diseal engine caught my attention
So waiting period will be 2 yrs or 3 yrs??!!
Mahindra can never design a good looking car. Ever. Keep it up.
Need a comparison video for 3XO vs Nexon 🔥
Is it okay to just have ABS+EBD and no ESP and traction control in an SUV? Ive xuv300 w4 diesel
Very polarising opinion about the looks but I personally love it and seems value for money
People are dissing the design of the car just to get some likes. I hated XUV300 and 400 that’s why went for Kushaq. But imo the design has improved a lot and it looks really good now.
It looks so premium especially from inside
I was waiting for 1 yrs. But now got carens. This was best car in segment. Only miss is diesel auto.
I wish the front would have been exactly like the xuv 700 and the door handles also from Xuv 700 would have made it fantastic looking.
Though the front resembles xuv 700 it isnt the same.
nuf with the chaos on the front part, but what's with the cut in the wheel arch? if anyone's buying, it'll be for the vfm on some variants and the features up top.
Please add Headlights throw and music sound system in your review , by the way your review is best from all
Why @autocarindia does not make videos in 4k??
Looks very wild from the front end.
Not sure about other variants, but the market positioning of Mahindra XUV 3x0 AX7L is quite ambiguous. It's sized like a Venue or Sonet but its on-road price is closer to the Hyundai Creta S (O) CVT & Kia Seltos HTK Plus CVT.
If that ain't enough then it offers better features and power than Creta or Seltos, in terms of features it's more akin to the substantially pricier Creta SX Tech CVT, and let's not forget the fact that due to its size and engine displacement the XUV 3x0 falls at a lower tax slab than Creta and Seltos, so even the total cost of ownership is lower with the XUV 3x0.
I think with the XUV 3x0 at least with the AX7L what Mahindra tried to do is create a giant killer. Now if they launch one more variant maybe something named AX8L with ventilated seats then they will even have the Creta SX (O) CVT buy its balls.
On a different note, they need to enhance their after-sales services too.
Great design and styling! Will beat its competitors hollow.
I'm concerned about noise levels in the cabin. please share your views.
This is a brilliant design - if they did not cut the headlight short...imagine the headlight being full size...this will look like a mini xuv 700
Mx2 automatic ka review kb aayega??
What about the Diesel AMT ?
I'm good with my 2022 xuv300 looks😌
Fuel economy?
same turbo engine with two different figures? what's up with that? where does this difference emanate from?
I hope the updated xuv400 will have some resemblance to this styling
What I really liked in this worst designed car is the engine combinations, Mahindra has offered...it is so satisfying that Mahindra is giving u total value for money prepositions..as the competition which is offering 1.2L engines with 82 bhp & Mahindra is giving u 130 BHP & 117 BHP powers in a budget SUV..now that's crazy!!!
What is the difference in driving and comfort between the 16" (AX5) and 17" (AX7) wheels. Please elaborate on that.
Honestly 16 will give your better ride and mileage
While I am no fan of the redesign but I think this will age well with Indian buyers. 3XO will fare much better than its predecessor just because of its "baby 7OO" looks and powerful engines.
I would pick over nexon. Looks good to me but might be a bit odd for some. I wish the boot space would have been bigger
shot at Nashik??
The previous 300 was a struggling makeover on the ssangyong tivoli, which itself was a decent design, but the new version like it or not has some character compared to the old.
Are you related to Pratap Bose or you just don’t know ugly when you see it?
@@reubinthomas I don't know who and on what u r talking...when u want to really mean ugly go find the Pontiac Aztek and certain Chrysler products..
Kindly give a comparison between 3XO & Sonet
Review of diesel automatic pls
It was supposed to be a coupe, or I am just imagining thing?
Why is no one talking about how the 3XO looks like DC designed it, as if they took Avanti DC's front design 🌚
ok one suggestion for mahindra .. make the tgdi a little more accessible to consumers how about bringing the tgdi at 9.99 lakh price point plz .. ppl would like to avoid diesel if they can ..

WINNER.. Killer looks. ❤
Bit gaudy here and there, yet overall looks good 👍, definitely better than the previous one
The only design change XUV 300 needed was the rear to align it with its overall squarish design.
