Sure could use any beer but IPA for that real beer taste. We love bourbon bbq sauce and yes we have a vid for that as well ua-cam.com/video/i24J7CHE23E/v-deo.html
@@RedSmokeBBQ I should have researched before asking 😅🤦 Both vids look amazing! Will have to try them both out in time. Will definitely try out the IPA for the beer sauce though. Looks like they have a great range of flavours to use so might have to do a few 'experiments' over the next few weeks.
I like to use homebrew stout in dishes that call for red wine, beef/tomato dishes like chilli con carne, spaghetti bolognase etc etc, but coming up to Christmas i want to make a BBQ sauce using beer, still not sure if I want to use my stout or red ale. Don't currently have any IPAs that would go well in a bbq sauce, I have an oat cream IPA atm but not sure how that'd go. I think I've got some pale ale left in bottles, could give that a go.
What’s your favorite beer? Would you use it in a Barbecue sauce?
Quality video and look forward to doing a version for myself.
I absolutely love how you came on said about the calming down of the sauce after a couple of days……thanks 👍
Loving this channel so much
Thanks for the support mate 👊
Loving these sauce vids cheers
Thanks Ben, have you given in any a go yet?
Could you use any beer with this recipe? And any recipes with bourbon or other spirits?

Home brew stout sounds the goods! I do like a red ale, I think it might go better than the IPA - plus it’s a more festive colour 🤣
Gday. Could I use a more hoppy beer if I can’t get the hops ? Cheers DIBBSY.
Definitely! I’ve done a few batches just with a strong ipa or a iipa and it comes out great
What can i use instead of jalapeno. Iam from thailand and here its next to impossible to find fresh jalapeno.
I’d put in what ever chilis you can get you hands on!
@@RedSmokeBBQ alright. Thanks
I've always been told half a beer old style is best and store bought sauce. It works fine and takes only 30 seconds. No cooking
basically made a sugar sauce with some herbs/spices lol....just no dude...no.
