@@Rash23215 I think they thought she was trolling to be mean or something, when she obviously wasn't. It was so incredibly stupid on their parts. She was so funny.
The Red Wedding is probably one of the, if not *the* most shocking moment in all of television. It wasn't shocking because it was completely unpredictable, you could easily see how Robb's actions could come and bite him in the ass, it's that you would never expect main characters to die quite like this. What this story understood better than almost anything is that unpredictability comes second *after* proper buildup for an event to happen.
@justbeyondmythoughts they don’t though. people were expecting robb to be the main character as ned’s replacement, i honestly expected every other stark (except arya) to die at some point and for robb to become some kind of tyrant. this was only 3 seasons in as well, his story had just started to develop. usually main characters die a looong way into a show, which is why this was unexpected.
"FUN" fact: In the books, Rob's wolf was acting aggresive towards the Frey's, kinda like the wolf felt something wasnt right and he was trying to warn Rob, but they locked him up 😢.
That is one of my favourite parts of the books and I wish they had put Robb and Cat's interaction in the show... but I guess it might have given it away more... but it shows just how close they all are with their wolves. And how Robb not trusting that connection got him killed... besides the other mistakes he made.
I heard a theory that broke my heart even more, since the Starks are wargs so there is a theory that because Robb's last words were “greywind” and before his death he warged into his wolf only to die again. Which is very heartbreaking because Arya saw Greywind, it’s kinda like Robb died twice and before his death he saw his little sister in front of him not knowing if she would be alive or not... fuck i'm sad again 😂
For some context, "Rains of Castemere" is the song Catelyn heard just before the masacre. It's the Lannister theme. You may have heard it before, before the battle of the blackwater, some of the Lannister guys were singing it, in a happy way. That look Catelyn gave to the musicians, she felt scared and confused, but it was too late, the doors were already closed.
And for more context, the song is about how Tywin massacred everyone in House Reyne, after they rebelled against House Lannister. So it’s pretty relevant here.
And even more context the story of the ending of House Reyne is the one Cersei spoke about the previous episode. How in a single night the entire House was erased thanks to the Lannisters and thus the song was born. It’s why Catelyn was so afraid heating it - she knows the story and what that song means and you don’t play that at a wedding
When you rewatch GoT, the scene of Arya saying that "Some people even say that Rob Stark can turn into a wolf" makes you see him on the horse with the wolf's head in a different way
That's how I felt when Ned died lmao, at first it didn't phase me at all bc I genuinely expected it to be some kind of hallucination by Arya. By the time I got to the red wedding I was just always scared for everyone and basically expected them to die at any point lol
The Red Wedding is perfect because it's not this gotcha moment that catches you off guard that comes outta left field and leaves you stunned. It does shock and stun and confuse. But due to the intensity. The gall to kill off so many liked, longstanding and/or important characters. And yet it makes sense. It's actually quite predictable considering Robb makes all the mistakes. And you understand completely why it happens after. It is great for story and shock, without sacrificing either.
Ygritte wasn't trying to kill Jon. If she wanted to kill Jon, she would have killed him immediately, she's a perfect shot. She was angry and he is a sworn enemy of her people and slaughtered her group. She cares for him too much to do the job properly, but can't let him just leave. She's heartbroken and torn 💔

I must have done some REALLY good deeds because, THE FACT that Im getting to watch a 1 hour 23 minute video of Brad reacting to Game of Thrones… IMPECCABLE
_The Rains of Castamere_ is in reference to a young Twyin Lannister murdering every living soul in 2 different castles that were ancillary branches of the Lannister family, after they rose in rebellion against him. After they put everyone to the sword-including the children and servants- in the Tarbeck castle, the Reynes fled to their fallback, a mine close to their keep. Twyin used his army to flood the mine, and block the entrance killing everyone who had taken refuge within. It was not quick, and it was not clean way to go. Cruelty & intimidation was the point, Twyin wanted to be feared, and feared he was.
May be an unpopular opinion, but Jaimie showed this season that he does care for someone out of his family and it's Brienne. He tried and did save her so many times. He lost his hand bc of it, the same hand that literally gave meaning to his life but still tried to save her. Jaimie is not a heartless bastard, like his sister. His biggest fault is his unconditional (and yes misplaced) love for his sister. And even though it's weird and gross I can't consider him a bad person bc of it. I feel like a lot of people would to crazy, selfish and terrible things for the people they love. I love this character and his growth is one of my favorite part of this show
Once someone watches the Red Wedding, you can no longer call them a Sweet Summer Child. Until you watch the Red Wedding, whether you've started watching the series or not, you are a Sweet Summer Child.
I don't know how much time is spent on Editing but THIS show the nudity gore plus your hilarious reactions and edits are A Mazing truly lol thank you so much for the time seriously I know it can't be easy
1:04:08 fun fact! In the books lord Bolton actually said “Jaime Lannister sends his regards” before he killed Robb. This may imply that Jaime was in on the Red Wedding but it’s obvious from the text that he genuinely did not know that it would happen. This also has some widespread consequences in the books (SPOILERS FOR BOOKS) as Catelyn heard Lord Bolton say that. In the books she gets resurrected as Lady Stoneheart. She is on a crusade with the brotherhood without banners and she is hellbent on killing every person associated with the wedding, especially Jaime Lannister.
In the books, Caitlin didn't have a knife to the throat of a little girl who is apparently married to that guy old enough to be a great granddad. It was a little mentally disabled boy who is apparently his grandson and it ended the same way. The only difference between the red wedding there and here is Rob's wife was not killed because he was smart enough to not bring her to the wedding. Knowing how testy the old guy is, he didn't want to rub salt in the wounds showing the girl he married when his mother promised him to one of his girls, he didn't promise s***

Yup, same here, I'd say the Red Wedding was what started reactions on UA-cam and not to mention increasing the insane popularity of GOT. The Red Wedding had me in shock and crying for days! I could not believe that both Rob and Catelyn Stark died as well as his pregnant wife. With Ned, it was unexpected and also sad but with Rob that really marked the beginning of nobody is safe on this show. We really thought Ned was the main character and then also Rob but now they are both gone. Almost losing Jon this season as well was too much for me. I was so gagged with these last two episodes. Can't wait for season 4 and for you to see more of Arya's journey.

Honestly, you're one of the few I've seen who was even able to go straight on to the 10th episode after the sheer GALL of episode 9. Most people need to step away and take a break for a few days. Nerves of steel!

had me thinking I was watching the wrong show or missed an episode 😂😭 back out of the show to double check 😂
Idk but I didn't like much rob or his mother so that scene didn't matter to me tbh
Sophie Turner (Sansa) tweeted, "I hope you enjoy tonight's episode x" right before the Red Wedding. People who hadn't read the books were so mad. 😂

I'm rewatching all of your reactions to this entire series and I adore you so much!
I was thinking about Sansa saying she never wanted to be with Tyrion. I will never get that. I think he is super handsome, and soooo kind. Especially in later seasons with that beard... yuuuummmm. :)
A lot of people recorded reactions to the Red Wedding. This is the latest addition to that.
The Red Wedding is the reason why episode 9's in Game of Thrones are legendary! white walker BOOTS ❄️
Honestly, you're one of the few I've seen who was even able to go straight on to the 10th episode after the sheer GALL of episode 9. Most people need to step away and take a break for a few days. Nerves of steel!
White walker BOOTS
