In this video we are starting Season 2 covering the first 3 episodes, and let me say they weren't starting slow with this once. I think its very important to mention that sam has been called a coward his whole life and Gilly is the only one who ever said u r brave so she sees him differently than anybody else
i think it’s beautiful because it means she sees bravery as the bravery to be vulnerable and kind and not the bravery to be brutish and violent

The theme that is played when Sansa looks at herself in the mirror after dining with Cersei and the little kids is the Stark theme (depressing cello solo). You see it being played throughout the whole series quite some times. Ramin Dwajadi is such s good composer. There are many themes in this show. Many characters, families, places and even some plots and facts have their own one. If you listen to them you can actually see that the Stark theme is mainly a sad depressing melody by a cello and sometimes a violin. Daenerys's theme is a mixture between her Targaryen side and Dothraki side. Her themes convey magnificence, greatness (because of course, Targaryens, dragons... and also because she is accomplishing remarkable things such as making dragons return, leading those people in the desert despite the harshness and against some sexist people etc.). Also, her theme can also include a choir of people singing in Valyrian or just words. But her theme is not %100 Targaryen, because you can actually hear drums, some Eastern instruments... That is a reference to her Dothraki side. If you ever watch House of the Dragon, the prequel series of GoT about the Targaryens, you will see that there is no such Eastern instrument played, and drums do not have that protagonism, it is violins, cellos... that have predominance, meaning that Targaryens have no ties to Dothraki in that time. And there are many more themes. In fact, people who analyse the ost and intro song of this show are quite good at predicting things that happen in the show, or at least they make good theories.

I always think about how funny it was that some people who read the books first somehow didnt get that Renly was gay.... Like what?! How could you miss that? His guards are even called the rainbow cloaks 😂

Fun fact! My dad taught Arya stark for a bit. He was a maternity cover for philosophy, but said she was a really lovely kid. Mentioned wanting to be an actor, then next day wasn't in his lesson. A student said she had a film gig, and next thing GOT!

I think the later seasons are much more enjoyable if you watch them blind, like Brad does. What ruined it for most people was 1) the deviation from the books and 2) half of the internet breaking every frame down to create theories and build unmatchable expectations.
There's no excuse for season 8 though
@@fuzzyapple know I don’t personally think they build unmatchable expectations. Cause they just point out the unreasonable ruin of the characters just from a tv show point of view not even considering the books. 6-8 are all extremely rushed to just achieve an ending and start a Star Wars trilogy. But as a die hard fan of the books and hater of 6-8 I can say it was still a spectacle to watch the first time around.

In the book, it was Cersei who ordered the murder of Baratheon Bastards, because she’s insecure cause she knows the truth, while Joffrey is sure that he is true born of Bobby B so he sees no reason to “get rid of the competitor”.

But for the Lannister siblings specifically, you can blame literally everything on Tywin's A+ parenting.
I like that you said you liked Tyrion "for the most part." Most new watchers are completely uncritical of Tyrion, so it's nice to see someone who has a more measured approach.
His reaction to finding out Margaery is Loras’ sister and she’s married to Renly was easily the best part of the video for me.
