This song motivated me to become a better person in 2011 when i was about to be homeless. If you want to change your life do it right here right now, don't fucking wait, no one is there for you except YOU.
Never truer words were spoken.
Fr? Damn bro
Spot on. The only way to succeed is to take total responsibility for your own life. As Dr Joe Vitale, an Italian-american author, who went from homelessness/poverty to multi-millionaire said "You life isn't your fault but it is your responsibly"

A lot of people saying about the Timeline not being accurate and that this it not how evolution happened.
This is a music video not an educational video about evolution.
That's good because it would be inaccurate
I am sure they have made a typo. Change years to days and timeline becomes close to ideal.
That would mean that it would start at 958267452 years ago

This song is oddly emotional for me. Always been that way even when it came out, so it's not only 90s nostalgia. It has an epic, grand and almost sentimental quality to it. It sounds like an anthem for rising above it all and moving on.
That's because it was the anthem of the new Millennium. It was played constantly in 1999. It really captures the pre-eminent vibe of the time. Like we were on the cusp of some major transformation.
Then the fire nation attacked 😑
it gives me strange feeling of responsibility. The dinosaurs perished, then it was the little us who won the struggle for survival. Just one species - humans. It feels like a combination of pride and urge to do better but also it seems the wheels will keep on turning with or without us, another one may rise if we fall.
Because it was 1999 and was final of year of the 20th Century and going into the. Millennium era
@@adamfull3181 For sure. And of course I have those connotations when I hear it. But I meant that the tones themselves are less reminiscent of dance music and sound more like the score to a superhero movie.

I recently discovered this song from Volvo’s XC90 Hybrid commercial. Where has this song been all my life?! It’s everything that I love about Electronic Music. It sounds so Ethereal, other worldly, whimsical, and has a melodic atmosphere, like no other EDM song that I ever listened to! It’s the encapsulation of the beauty of the universe, and its Organisms, whilst also symbolizing triumph at the same time. To put it short, this is one of the best songs I’ve ever heard. It’s terribly underrated for what it is. It needs to be up there with the likes of Timbaland, Sash!, Morris, Dillon Francis, Gigi and some other EDM Musicians. It is the closest thing to my definition of perfection.
Standard and a classic
Me too :D
I saw it in a short version of the commercial on shorts and I knew it sounded familiar.

this was my favorite song when I was younger, just came across it again. Every bit as good as I remember.

Very sorry to hear that. Only sending comment because its that time of year for me. I lost 2 sisters, then a nephew. My Father simply because of age...but then I saw how my 2 older brothers were so distraught. I tried to help but after 30 days in rehab.....my brother shot hisself only days after I left to look after my own house/cats, friend....sister.
I friggen called for a Well Check because he wouldn't respond. I was in the Mental Health industry & that's what I was taught.....also talked to him about it.
Nevertheless, 6 years later.......therapy, hours and hours of music......I can stuff it down as far as I can. Everybody says not my fault........but it is. It is.
Maybe he was prepared to do so. Evidence he was. He wanted to die clean of opioids & he was.
Catch 22. I sent police to his house "Well Check" & he was alive they say.
Next day he my other brother arrived......
Sorry for the share, but your share broke me open.

For those who've missed the point, the video is a critique of humanity. All throughout the video we have new species evolving due to new selective pressures. The fish needs swim faster so it becomes more streamlined, then the amfibian needs feet to walk on the land, then the crocodile thingy needs paws to climb trees etc. Only when we get to humans in the video does the trend change. Technological advances have made our lives so easy that we've become fat and lazy. There is no reason to evolve, there are no selective pressures to drive evolution and the t-shirt drives this point home by stating '#1 already so why try harder'.
