It never gets old and it will always be a timeless classic. I haven't watched it for about 25 years since the same year. I'm glad to see this music video again. Greetings from Ireland 🇮🇪
I recently discovered this song from Volvo’s XC90 Hybrid commercial. Where has this song been all my life?! It’s everything that I love about Electronic Music. It sounds so Ethereal, other worldly, whimsical, and has a melodic atmosphere, like no other EDM song that I ever listened to! It’s the encapsulation of the beauty of the universe, and its Organisms, whilst also symbolizing triumph at the same time. To put it short, this is one of the best songs I’ve ever heard. It’s terribly underrated for what it is. It needs to be up there with the likes of Timbaland, Sash!, Morris, Dillon Francis, Gigi and some other EDM Musicians. It is the closest thing to my definition of perfection.
1:03-1:27 is an absolutely astonishing part. The buildup with the music and then the creature starts crawling in that tracking shot - it's mesmerizing.

A lot of people saying about the Timeline not being accurate and that this it not how evolution happened. This is a music video not an educational video about evolution.
I have no clue why but this makes me feel such extreme emotions I can't control. Like how someone finds closure in the death of a loved one...it hurts but having closure makes it okay. This song is my closure for everything that could possibly go wrong in my life. Like I could lose everything and listen to this... And have the strength to keep going.

What an elite music connoisseur.
Oh my God same for me 😂🤦🏻♀️
I first heard it on a DBZ music video, and it had changed my life and my aesthetic tastes ever since
When the song and the video can both give you goosebumps.. its something else.
This video still gives me goosebumps everytime i watch it
Ahh man. What a classic banger of a track. This album is one of my all-time favourites.
I’ve genuinely been listening to their song since I was about 4, I’m 24 now, still sounds as fresh as ever
It's one guy. Norman Cook.
I've thought Years ago that this is an artificial song, made from an AI.
A legendary track, still to this day. I remember hearing it for the 1st time at the end of a countdown for a year 2000.... Good God, just shivers! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
A lot of people saying about the Timeline not being accurate and that this it not how evolution happened.
This is a music video not an educational video about evolution.
That's good because it would be inaccurate
I am sure they have made a typo. Change years to days and timeline becomes close to ideal.
Although in all fairness you did say close to ideal
This is one ordinary posthuman era bull shit. Not bull but elephant shit.
People will find any reason to complain these days.
You're right, the music video is metaphorical not educational.
Beautifully said.
This song was so ahead of its time tbh
how?
Baerto Meneguzzi not really 🤷🏻♂️😂
Ahead of its time??
I disagree. Big Fat Liar showcased this song with a rising Muniz and Bynes. Paul Giamatti too.
Not really tho.
Oh mein Gott! Liebe Leute, ich höre im Juli 2024 meinen Lieblings-Fatboy Slim ❤️ das Leben ist schön!❤❤❤alles wird gut 😊

The only song that can motivate you to achieve the dreams you are chasing.
Goosebumps galore.
Right Here, Right Now. Fatboy Slim is a Legend.
An absolute masterpiece. Who is listening in October 2024!?
I am so sorry for all the people who haven't found this video yet. This is probably the most iconic melody we will ever hear
this song is 23 years old....

Can't believe this video is 14 years old and some people still don't believe in evolution
I love this music, this video. It has always motivated me in my tough situations. Hats off to Fatboy Slim. This song is surreal.
this is my "Today is the day I start preparing for exams" theme song, it gets me motivated for exactly 3 minutes 48 seconds and then the idea of studying just evaporates
Well, you can always put the video on loop.
😂😂
Because you're already the no1, so why try harder
Dude. Just play it on loop
I feel you😑
I never realised how good this video is. Come through evolution
I want to say a very big thank you to all of you who have supported my music and accepted my sound.

This is a timeless song
I still get goosebumps when the bass kicks in and the little guy grows legs. Epic song and video even in 2022
Glad it's not just me! I dont know what it is about this music video that makes me feel so emotional
@@riddlemefish6217 I wish I had the skill and know how to make videos man. I think they can be super powerful. I’ve had some music videos stick with me much longer than a lot of movies. Something about music and sound and that kinetic energy it’s really special imo
Only Evolutionary tales can have a fish gasping for breath for millions of years until it grows legs!
Same here! Goosebumps galore!
Great song and makes me feel that warm fuzzy feeling that maybe the future is in our hands.
I can't help, but feel a massive amount of nostalgia from this

Turning the Bass off on my walkman, so I can turn it back on when a badass bassline is coming
Which year bruh
Sony forrrewe 👍
Absolute masterpiece of music.
This song has about 10 words repeated throughout... Only 4 matter. The beat, those strings, and "Right Here, Right Now", is all you need to feel you can win at life... No matter what year you are listening.
2020.
I'm alive.
Another year full of adventures.
I'm here.

An eternal classic. Takes me back to a simpler time of life growing up.
2:51 The slow mo is amazing
The whole video is really outstanding😊
This is probably my fave tune of all time. Always makes my hairs stand on end. I remember listening to it when i was 5 and since then would always search it on youtube every now and again just to replay it several times. Gives me chills
When I was 5 UA-cam wasn't even born yet.
Ei sers miggi
This tune is a must at the gym. When I want to give up cus of the pain, the fatigue or because Im down. This song tells me that right here and right now is what matters.
I can't stop crying & applauding! PERFECTION!
That video is just stunning. Easily one of the best music videos without visible cuts, an ingenius and timeless idea (even though it is about time) and hilarious animation. You know it is a true Fatboy Slim tune, when simple lyrics, chords and a kind of crazyness build a masterpiece! Once in my recommendations - now in my playlist for eternity.
This song makes me want to change my life
Go for it, you've come a long way, and you can go way further

The best song human kind could create ! Thank you Fatboy Slim for the energy you release in your epic music
I listened to this song when I was a child...., and now I am a fresh father. I have passed on my genes to the next generation. “Life” is amazing
I took my 13-year old boy and 4-year old girl to see Fatboy Slim in July 2001, Brighton Beach. Really proud of that. Cannot be such a terrible mum after all.
Hopefully with appropriate hearing protection. Tinnitus is a bitch.
