    Using cones is the most reliable approach to firing a kiln and making kiln packs is an important step of the process. In this episode Phil Berneburg shares tips on how to load commercially available cone packs and how to make cone packs from scrap clay you have around the studio. Phil covers how cones are made, the steps in making cone packs, correct angle of the cones, how to avoid pack explosion and common errors making cone packs.
