Thanks for the tip mate I have a GT golf and the check engine lights on but the other thing I’m not a mechanic and when you put your foot down it does what your car did so thank you. I’m going to get some new coils
Hoping it's a cylinder issue for me. Got hit with the EPC, then CEL, then turbo does not work. I'm scarred from a faulty turbo from my time with a Cruze.
@MANATWORKlives thanks buddy scanned it got hit by the dreaded P00AF00 and P256300. How VW gets away selling defective turbos is not right, extended warranty expired 1 month ago -_-
Sooo I have a epc light it only comes when I break slowly and then press on the gas it goes away could be my coil packs ? Because I also have a break light switch faulty idk if it could be that
@@MANATWORKlives thanks I got some codes such as - Faulty break light switch Low transmission fluid Abs break control moduel I hage only replaced my PCV valve my right speed sensor
@@Alexis-mk6 I would verify your tranny fluid level per manufacturer specs. You may need an updated ABS pump installed (wasn't my fave to do) and get it programmed to you VW at the dealer (it took them a while to get mine programmed.) Brake light switch should be behind the brake pedal but follow the directions as some switches are a 1-time shot to install. Clear all codes after that and drive it to see what happens after a few trips.
@@MANATWORKlives been driving like this for half a year but this problem came from nothing valve does not open well-known ailment at low revs the car starts to stall, it must be fixed quickly before I go into winter haha
@@MANATWORKlives I have a check engine light on my car that was flashing now it's a steady solid light could this be the problem I'm having coil issues coil pack?
@@busterlouie6176 If your engine is running obviously rough, it is a possibility that you have a bad coil. I have had a check engine light with a code for supercharger/turbocharger underboost, which could be from trying to accelerate in too high a gear - that code would not go out on its own after a week of driving. I would get your code checked at your local parts store if they offer it to get an idea of where to start.

I would fix the known issues first and go from there. Get a code reader or go to a parts store that can pull your codes for you to research.

@@mohamedalshishani3731 the best to start is to find someone with a scanner to get the code that is making the light come on.
