blows my mind how so many people can’t figure out something so simple yet have so much disposable income for such nice trucks and boats.. here i am can barely afford a trip to the beach.
I think you will find that a lot of these people don't actually own anything, they just scrape by with monthly payments.
Although, people get payed insane amounts for doing very very little, these days.
The bank owns the boat and truck.
Most of these people have no business operating a boat.
@@samuelkeystone yeah, quite a few of these guys have gotten visits from the the repo man.
@@anthonyellerbrock932 True, most of them don't take any boating safety classes even though they're offered (free i believe) by the coast guard.
There's so much money and little brians at these boat ramps.
Yeah this ramp needs more brians.
@@kountrygunz2032 You beat me to it dude, well done. 😂😂😂😂
@@kountrygunz2032 But what about us Kyles?
I dont know why I find this so entertaining. but i do.
The clown at 2:52. I had literally that model boat. Seadoo challenger 180. It was ridiculously maneuverable. Easy to operate and spun on a dime It is amazing this guy was able to hit everything. And people like this is why they will mandate boaters courses People don’t realize. Use neutral. Go slow. They throttle right up and pop
so true
i have a sea doo sportster 1800 and they are very easy to maneuver
Years ago before boynton's remodel it was 2 lane and I had my trailer axle drop off the end of the ramp slab twice at low tide, stuck like chuck, impossible to pull forward. I would have to use a rachet strap on the rear eye of the boat and dive down to wrap it around the trailer frame. Rachet like crazy till the back of the boat was riding really low but it lifted the trailer enough to pull forward.
I have had to do this with bass boats before. Luckily, bass boats have transom straps that work well for doing this very thing.
Great recovery!
I know this is a boating channel, (and also the reason i come here) but i can't ignore the rims on the truck @ 6:25. Huge!
It pays to get a trailer tongue extension for PWC trailers.
Real shit
The problem was the trailed was at a really bad angle where the back of the trailer was pointed at the dock. Then trying to get the sky off the trailer sideways.
When I got boating, I use the winch to put boat on trailer and make sure it goes on straight. I also have someone on side to push/pull the back around. We have the boat out with a couple of minutes
Any jet boat can power onto the trailer...and push the tow vehicle up the ramp.
Something to remember if you have a hard time getting traction with your tow vehicle...
restart the jet and power up until the intake sucks air...it may be just enough to "unstick" the tow vehicle....
After watching about 10 of the these. I understand exactly why it's good to film and why people will watch. Good stuff
Side bunks help keeping the boat straight. My boat Straightens itself as I motor onto it.
This is why every boat trailer I ever owned had guide poles.
Guide poles aren't needed if you know how to load a boat onto a trailer! The people who need guide poles are the ones who have no clue how deep to set the trailer, and always set it too deep!
@@charlieodom9107 as this real OJ said, you niggas need to jam the boat in the trailer and then use da winch
@@charlieodom9107 "GuIdE pOlEs ArE fOr IdIoTs" - the type of boating a-holes nobody likes. Let people do what works for them. You're not impacted by their equipment. Don't be smug a-holes.
@@doug6191 awwww...I see we have a guide pole moron amongst us!!!
Holy Bashmobile Robin!
You sound like a sports announcer. Who going in first and he's deep. Funny to watch people.
"What's" going on on second? ;-)
Maybe the Black Range Rover should have went to the mall and done some shopping instead of jet skiing
Sexism and bad grammar - a loser combination.
Don't lower yourself to being like the people that want to be like you. This channel is informative, the guy narrating knows his shit, he's obviously a boater and can con a boat. Love your channel and narration.
I could sit and watch our local boat docks at Lake Cumberland ky. All day...especially on a holiday like labor day or 4th of july...
So entertaining
broncos guru drinking game: every time he says "our guy" , take a drink.
My liver says no thank you
Your commentary is stupendous 👏👏👏👏
I use to love the bumper boats at the park.
The one and only rule people need to remember when docking is that slow and steady wins the race. So many times people panic, then start cranking the wheel one way or the other, shifting between forward/reverse, gunning the throttle. That's what gets them in trouble. For the record, approach the dock at slow speed, not half throttle.
We all gotta learn sometime bronco.
Its amazing how people over rev the motor when trying to dock a boat. Slow and easy!
I now realize that you can literally film anything and people will watch it.
I know. I don’t even own a boat 😆
some people just dont need to have boats!!
I'm pretty sure the very first jet ski unload in the beginning the fella got in the water with sandals on but when he got back on his jet ski he had no sandals. He might miss him when he has to walk on the hot pavement
when the hood comes to the ramp
I rented one of those Yamaha jetboats once. Probably one of the hardest boats I had to dock, about 4x harder than any other boat I've had. The thing had three speeds, stop, go, and go faster. Normally a twin engine is simple to bring in, but one touch in reverse would just spin it around. Yamaha sells a ton of them so I wonder if it's more of a maintenance issue.
I actually enjoy the instagram models getting their boats beat up by incompetent captains.
Pontoon guy’s tires and girlfriend were both smokin’
Had a Shetland 570 many years ago and went from Carrick marina to Bangor for the day, lovely day out, BBQ and a few beers. Back to Carrick marina that night and my other three friends told me a birthed the boat like a pro.
Next day i found out i just birthed in the wrong birth. ; }
The first one with the range rover was a piece of cake. Its a rangie. They could easily have reversed up to the rear near to the numberplate in the water
Salt water and metal always mix well...
@@johnbrink7430 Ever hear of a garden hose or car wash?
Finnaly got a boat slip and I do not miss the public boat ramp at all. F that
Another video that reminds me it pays to get dry stack storage with in and out service...
2:15 Too bad the camera guy didn't notice that the center console next to the tilted boat was launched with the plug out, that might have been a fun one.
This stuff is gold
Great video.
@ 1:29 Golf Cart at top of ramp.
Looks like a Nova Scotia Canada Plate on the front Bumper! Haha
Yeah, I'll just back my Range Rover down into SALT WATER!
i live in Canada were the road are coated in pure salt 7months a year...
Lol. That’s funny.
Gotta love a weekend warrior!
Christ almighty these boat babes.
The person coming out should have the right of way like when you get off a bus or going in a building the people coming out are giving the right of way
That is hard to accomplish at a ramp.
why does no one invest into learning how to pilot their vessels? two amazing things to learn;
1: how reverse can maneuver your bow
2: a bow line and using reverse can put you up against the dock
"𝑾𝒆 𝒔𝒆𝒆 𝒂 𝒍𝒐𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒔𝒎𝒐𝒌𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝒅𝒐𝒘𝒏 𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆" Yep, of several types. I saw one walking behind that van . . . .
Florida: what winch we don’t need no winch…
There's only two good days when you own a boat the day you buy it and the day you sell it and anything in-between that is all downhill
Do the people in Florida not believe is using the winch on the trailer? I see everyone trying to power load every time in these videos.
I don't understand why ppl put reverse instead put on neutral? I'm always on neutral while load off my bass boat at ramp.
weekend warriors
I’ve been trailering boats since the 70’s. Worst case is backing a narrow empty trailer. Impossible to see in the mirrors until it’s at too great an angle. Unless they have tall side guides on. Jet ski trailers are the very worst.
You should go to the boat ramp by peanut island
Unlike the mentioned truck V boat standoff ...... truck wins this , first past the tape .
1 all
Read recently that for 2020, boat sales were over 310K. I expect you have job security for sure this year down there at that ramp! 🤣
I thought my 2-3 minute hookup was slow. These people are taking 20 minutes. Lordy
Epic channel dude 👍
People should practice with a empty trailer, especially a short pwc trailer, lot of my buddies are ok with the rig on it but once they got to load pwc or boat back on they struggle, guide poles are helpful but practice is key, relax and slow down, easier said then done when people are watching
You do understand that pretty much ALL these vehicles have backup cameras, right? The people backing the trailers are too stupid to know how to look at the camera when they can not see the trailer in the side mirrors.
All backup cameras have a center line option, which conveniently lines up perfectly with the tongue on the trailers.
The problem is people don't understand HOW to back up a trailer. Hell, they don't even know how to fucking back up! You look FORWARD, not backwards to back up! People are not taught to use mirrors, which is why they can not back up a trailer.
That croc has a free buffett any time he wants it. I wonder where he is. Probably over in the weeds laughing at some of these goofs.
What happens if there are 6 boats who are circling the ramps waiting for an opening? Do people really pay attention to which boat was there first? Or do they just treat it as a free for all and everybody guns their boat to be the first to the dock?
4:20 I was wondering the same thing. I think that guy was in a video a few days ago for backing down the ramp with a boat already tied up and demanded they leave.
theres so many expensive sensors they just ruined in the bumper of that land rover
Some people are not boaters give it up and watch people boating.
Truck and trailer always have priority at the ramp. I grew up going to this ramp that is how it used to be. That's how it is where I live now in Central Florida
Dude where are you filming from ?
2:00 What's going on with the boat on the right. Is this a missing drain plug? At about 2:18 the bilge kicks in.
Drain Plug Mafia strikes again, they should have subscribed. I saw that too, I'd say either they were launching and forgot the drain plug, or were retrieving and had taken on some water and it just got the point that the bilge pump kicked in. I'd guess launching with no drain plug.
They look to be trying to pull it out but cant. She reaches down just before that an may be turning the pump on. A little before that, she was unloading and the truck tried to pull forward but didnt get far.
does FL not require a boating license?
Anyone born after 1988 is not required to have one, and if anyone on the boat is exempt, then no one is required to have one. Also, the boating safety class is about as effective as the written driver's exam!
It's crazy to me how such a busy boat state has no proper license system. But i guess freedom :)
@@ReinierS do you really think a boating license would solve anything? It CLEARLY works for autos, right? Quit being so ignorant!
@@charlieodom9107 i think you missed the word "proper". As in actually having a physical boat test where you demonstrate your skillset in all areas that your boat setup requires. And I fully agree that a theory test doesn't do jack shit
@@ReinierS How is that "proper" test working out for the idiots driving cars?
I didn't miss shit! You refuse to understand a fucking test does absolutely NOTHING!!!!
Wtf!!! I've never seen such a mess in my life
@3:47 The guy backing down the ramp looks the same as the guy from the other video.
How can the fwc watch these videos and there’s no inforcement on the mandatory safety course that’s required to operate aboat
What mandatory course? Florida only requires one for people born after 1988, and only if there isn't someone who has the course or is exempt from the course on board. That eliminates a LOT of people from the requirement.
@@charlieodom9107 thats the problem just cuz your older dont mean you can operate in a safe manner
I had to take the safety course recently and my dad didn't. Needless to say I'm helping him with all kinds of things now. Even he is like "why would they expect me to know this just because I was born before 88"
@@kainenr you can take your bullshit somewhere else! I took a boating course many years ago for Florida, and there is nothing in it that isn't common knowledge, like channel markers, signage, right of way, etc.
What exactly have you had to teach him about boats since your PHD course in all things boating??
Man I thought Miami was the only place were 85% of the boaters were completely clueless, was I wrong !!!
...you think that first boat had enough fishing rods?
why does everyone back their trailers in so deep to retrieve their boats? that is the reason they have issues picking them up. if the boat can float around on the trailer its too deep.
What puzzles me is, these people surely have well paid employment to afford the boats and vehicles seen, yet they are incapable of simple boat handling ! If their skills here are to be used as a guide to their capabilities to process information, a job screwing tops on bottles seems a bit too taxing !
now you know why america is going down the drain
Boating is hard lol
It's harder if you are stupid...
(applies to life in general)
HOFF alert @ 4:23
Bro I’m literally hook to you Chanel
I hate dropping at this ramp because it's chaotic and always some idiots.
Good part of wannabes who don’t listen end up on bone head boaters or Miami boat ramps for the walk of shame
Sometimes I'm lmfao 🤣 and others im just upset 😡 watching 👀 would you try parking your car while going sideways or pulling in a parking spot while going 15-20mph?
Why is it that so many people with boats seem to be morons? I used to go the lake late and come back after dark to avoid the zoo that was sure to ensue every single time!
nobody ever has these issues where I launch lol this is ridiculous
Dude…… there’s nothing wrong with the exhaust going it the water. Mine does it all the time.
Not experience at all . Only for saying I leave in Miami , I need to have a boat like my neighbors 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Please learn backing first, people!
If you cant load or unload a boat plz dont buy one stay the hell outta the water
Remember when you were new? I bet you were perfect from the beginning.
They should let someone off the boat so they can get their truck and have it ready
Yeah this is pretty standard procedure where I live. Especially with a setup like this. Not sure why more people don’t do it that way. I suppose it does require an extra person that knows how to do stuff. I.e. back a trailer or drive a boat.
Just give the dock to the trailer thats their........ its simple.... dont pull in and lock up a spot, have YOUR TRAILER LOCK UP THE SPOT and load. So simple its sad. Someone explain to me whats so difficult about this simple solution?
all the gear no idea
It's crazy how nobody seems to understand what a courtesy dock is. Drives me nuts when an idiot just rolls up into the lanes in the boat with their trailer across the street and just blocks up the entire ramp while every has to wait for them to retrieve their rig. Then they pull up and jump the entire line. Should be a required a course on ramp etiquette since a lot of folks have been on the sauce all day and tempers are easily set off by inconsiderate A-holes.
Wavy boats said you were gonna go thru haul over inlet is it gonna be live ?
100k Range Rover, $20K PWC and no common sense
Range Rover? Hope they leased it.
Hey when can we take our turn ?
boating isn't for everyone.
Wow this is the easiest way to make money sitting on the dock filming boats at the boat ramp and putting them on UA-cam
And I worry about my skill level
👍👍😎⚓
And the ramp does nothing to keep on winning.
I cannot even watch these all the way thru, I have to skip around because the rampant stupidity is sooo aggravating to watch...Where do these people come from?!?!
Most of these folks have no business with a Tonka let alone a boat 🙄
Our general population is embarrassingly poor skilled in general in just about everything!
NEVER OWN A BOAT ITS TOO MUCH OF A PAIN IN THE AZZ
