For the PSP, i used to have this tool called "PSX2PSP" (specifically version 1.4). It allowed you to convert a PSX ISO into a folder containing the converted .PBP file. It also allowed you to customize the PBP file before creation by adding its Icon, background picture, sound, etc. (Or to get technical, add its ICON0.PNG, PIC1.PNG, SND0.AT3, etc).
I don't know if you covered this tool already, but i thought it'd be something you'd be interested in.
Hey man can we convert psone bin/cue or eboot format into iso for psp format ?
Use the eboot (PBP) format, it's faster, this tool will convert bin/cue to PBP
And you can create one Eboot for PSP from multi disc PSX :)

Do you have a method for using cue files with PSX2PSP (you know cuz if you just use the bin on some games there is no soundtrack)
Can you put the bin and cue file into a HDD of a PS2 and it run the PS1 game just fine or do you need to do extra steps?
So I have a question. There are some games that just won't export. Games such as Mortal Kombat Trilogy and Wu Tang Clan Shaolin. Are there work around to get their ISOs? I'm sure there's other games like that but those are 2 I encountered that remain stuck and won't export and they aren't damaged I can play them fine on PS1 but only PS1. Can't play them on PS3.

Hmm ok but how to bin cue to iso, you will probably ask why so because I use frontend hyperspin + epsx and to save disk space I pack them to 7zip but it must be iso because the Rocket launcher only supports iso I don't know why but not bin cue ?

So how would you play the .bin/.cue files on a hacked PSP with LME? Do you simply create a game folder, put both the .bin and .cue files into it, and place that within the GAME folder of your PSP's (memory stick's) root directory? Or do you need additional software such as PSX2PSP to convert the .bin/.cue files into a .PBP file plus other files possibly?
idk if you still are wondering this (prolly not) but there's a program called psx2psp or something like that. You need to save a imagine of the game cover, and game background, then basically do what it tell you in the program

How do we do games that have like 3-4 discs (ie. Final Fantasy 7-8-9)? Separately one by one I assume, but is there a way to link all discs into one bin file?

After you created the BIN file you can rename .BIN to .ISO and it will work perfectly
so is that data still on the cd?

I have the exact same emulator as you, but whenver I try to map the PS4 controller in the options menu, the emulator registers my MLB instead of whatever joystick button I am pressing. Also, I'd like to put those .bin and .cue files into a single .iso file. How can I do that?
i dont know about the iso and cue but for ps4 controller you connect it via usb cable and you go to gamepad> port 1 and choose dualshock, then you map (for example you click the thing connected to the triangle on the screen and you press triangle on controller, do it for all the keys)

yes you just run the emulator from there
You didn't convert the .bin .cue files to an .iso file...
you cant, i tried it and it says you cant do that because the disc has multiple tracks. im pretty sure the .bin is the actual file with all the data and the .cue file helps the emulator read the multiple tracks.
Why would you use the term ISO. A bin file is an exact copy of data from a disc, while an ISO is just a collection of files and folders. ISO's can store garbage on your image.

Know why Bin and Cue files can't be converted to ISO because it can't that's why....never once seen a video that does that so therefore doesn't exist unless someone can prove me wrong.
