This was a lifesaver! However, I was initially stuck since I accidentally downloaded the item on the top of the list rather than 1.02.1 Beta. The "stable" version has no save icon, but the beta worked. After dumping Lemmings 3D it had 24 bin tracks! The first being data and then 23 audio tracks. The problem I've had for a long time was that that most tools I found couldn't combine this many bin tracks together. Even this tool took a while to load them, and even longer to save them, but I was finally able to convert them over so that I could play again on a real console. (My PS2 has a broken disc drive, and POPSTARTER requires a single bin to convert for use)
Does this work on ps1 games on PS3 because I tried playing this game Tekken 3 and it has two bin files and when I played it and finished the arcade it just black screen forever so I had to quit and restart all over again
I love your videos and dedication to the modding scene. I appreciate all your hard work. I have been using your videos for many years. And I pray your channel continues to provide us with the required knowledge to modify our consoles. Thank you.
DUDE! I spent hours trying to get this to work! THANK YOU! everyone listen you NEED to use the beta version! Regular version of CDmage doesn't let you save!
Thanks for the tutorial! Usually only emulated cartridge games and emulating disc games seemed a little daunting but hopefully this gets me on the right track
Thanks so much again! Slow, excellent, clear instructions with no skipped steps. It amazes me the number of tutorial videos where the person skips showing a step assuming you know how to do it or b/c "it's self explanatory". (Most of the time I've followed written steps and something went wrong or I got stuck which is why I searched for a visual guide in the 1st place!) Watching every step helps find where the prompts or file types I'm getting deviate from the video which help troubleshooting. (in this case I was following another vid showing how to convert a Crash Bandicoot .bin file but Rayman on PS1 has 51 (FIFTY-ONE !!) .bin files and I was like, "My screen does NOT look like that guy's.)
When I found this method many years ago it was a game changer. Having a tonne of audio files used to drive me nuts. I just installed the xstation a couple months back so this definitely comes in handy 👍
Oh my god.... You just saved me from hours of torture from people that didn't know what they were talking about! Finally i can play multi track games on my emulators! Thanks!
God I love your videos. Everything I´ve done with my PS3 (CFW, play PS2 games and now this) has been in your channel, straightforward and useful. Thank you very much man! Greetings from Mexico!
Man when I go on long trips with my family (not often) but I bring my psp along with my PlayStation classics on it, I got Gran Turismo 2, for those long endurance races, I have resident evil just for fun, and star ocean one of my personal favorites, amazing storyline and great gameplay, and it's just so plesent having all ps1 games portable, thanks for the work you do Mr Mario, I do very much appreciate it God bless you bro :)
Thanks my brother, I was looking for exactly how I was going to solve this issue of the file having several parts, thanks to your video I was able to... translate your video using artificial intelligence.
Thank you! I backed up my copy of WCW vs. the World and was shocked that there was no music! Re-burned and it works perfectly now. Your tutorials always help!
I think I made the same mistake that you made.......as I was having trouble as well. You have to download the beta version in order to save. He said this in the video but I was a knuckle head and downloaded the other version. lol. but the beta version works. :)
Thanks for the help, I had to google how to create a .cue file because my games didnt seem to have one but otherwise it was very easy to follow and well made. Thanks again.
Maaan!! Thanks a lot! Recently I bought PSP and I was about to become very sad when I faced this problem :( All I needed is just that solution! Thank you for your video :)
Hey Mario question i have on my emulator i have to add cue file too with bin file for music to play and in emulator it shows to files is there anyway to add cue file into the single bin file regards Adam.
This fixed all my missing music issues as I do commonly find ps1 bins as separated file dumps fsr... gta is one off hand that I used it for and Lunar 1
If you're struggling with this get the exact version the beta version also if you have trouble with multi disc's make sure the psxpsp is on the original and not themed this had me stuck for awhile
My "Save as.." is greyed out. Trying to make a new .bin of my original Rayman for PS1, which has 52 tracks in total with the 1st track being the MODE2 track. Any suggestions? Love your videos! Edit: Nevermind, I was using the 1.01.5 and not the 1.02.1 Beta. :]
I going to play Symphony of the night on my 3ds and your video was the best to explain. The "save as" option was not showing then, but i was using the 1.01.5 ver, not the 1.02.1 beta... Anyway, thanks!
What if I'm trying to combine multiple disc games such as the first Metal Gear Solid? It has a separate cue file for each disc, and CDImage seems to not let me select more than one .cue file at the same time.
I have recently followed one of your tutorials on how to mod a PS3 and was happy with everything. I put PS1 games on a thumb drive, they worked great but having 15 "copies" of the same game in the menu is annoying, as it reads all the bin tracks as seperate discs, they run perfectly though. I will be using this hopefully to change all that
I've tried this same method with MGS1, but for some reason retroarch on my rpi4 doesnt even want to boot the file and i get kicked straight back to the recalbox menu. I also already have a ll the necessary BIOS files, so im kinda lost.
Die Hard Trilogy for the PS1 has 21 .bin files which is why I'm here lol. Im trying to get my jailbroken ps3 to run it properly, I think this will do it. Thanks for the help!!!
I actually did this for several games and the music is still missing. I tried it for Jet Moto, Fighting Force, Sled Storm :/ do I need to change any settings?
Hi. I'm trying to get 3D Lemmings to work on my psp. It has 24 Audio tracks. I did the CDmage part correctly, but whenever I try to get it to run it, The Audio/Music Tracks don't seem to play on the main menu like they do on the PS1. is 3D lemmings, just one of the games where audio doesn't work? :(
the "save as" option never shows up .-. i select the cue file in the same folder as the tracks then i click on "file" and the option to save is never available

This comment was a lifesaver!! Use the beta version lol
I'm glad you said that, I got the wrong one too. Why would they do that?
Cheers mate
Ultra based, thank you very much
This is weird, I was literally doing this this week for my PS3 backups. Thank you for an updated video on how to do this, keep up the good work.
Gotta love the timing!

A small and bit gotcha right there, that's why I had to mention it hah
Yep I mistakenly downloaded the other one and was pulling my hair out until I watched again lol
Thanks for the tutorial! Usually only emulated cartridge games and emulating disc games seemed a little daunting but hopefully this gets me on the right track
PlayStation is a disc system which would make it a disc game, correct?
Thank you so much! Air Combat was annoying me to no end with it's 63 tracks. Glad I got it all consolidated now!
Wow, that tool is awesome! Not only can it do that, but also extract raw audio from games. Thanks!
You're welcome!
I couldn't get multi-track games to work on my hacked PS3. Then I found this video and they are working perfectly. Thanks!

Thanks mate, super easy, only struggled with this for about 10 mins until I found your video
When I found this method many years ago it was a game changer. Having a tonne of audio files used to drive me nuts. I just installed the xstation a couple months back so this definitely comes in handy 👍
Very nice!
xstation supports multiple bin files you don't need to do anything to them
Oh my god.... You just saved me from hours of torture from people that didn't know what they were talking about!
Finally i can play multi track games on my emulators!
Thanks!

Thanks. This is helping with my archival and helping me get my games onto my old PS3 for my kids!

Dang Mr. Mario, always saving my butt when things aren't working right. Thanks for the easy to follow vid as always!

I just asked about this, and you already had a solution to this a year ago! Man, you are somethin' else. All hail the Hack-King!
Well thank you!
thanks for saving me from 23 tracks of pink panther , your videos are the best

You're very welcome!
What do you mean with Re-burned like how did you fix the no music
@@yoseftv125 I followed the steps in the video. I'd originally just burned one track by mistake.
@systemmonitor5295 so if i follow this videos guide i will still hear ingame music

Thank you for this information, really helpful. Going to try it on Lunar and Warhammer PS1 games.

There is no "Save as" option like you claim at the 2:25 mark.
You didn't use the exact version I said to use.
Simple and informative! Been having sound issues when converting multitrack bins to chd. Thanks!
Thank you! I’ve been struggling with this!
You are so welcome!
I couldn't find a solution for this anywhere you're great
Another great post. Thank you. Much appreciated.
this is what a was looking for!!!

This also works for Sega CD games which are BIN/CUE. Thanks.
Luckily it's only a couple of images needing convertin'.
This definitely combined the tracks and let me get my back up on the PS3, but my PS1 game only plays the sounds from track 1
thanks a lot bro! finally solved my problem with these bin tracks!
