My 3038e came new with the rc2060. I wish I would have gotten the rc2072. I’m just curious if the 800 lb mx5 was to much weight when mowing? Was that part of the reason for getting rid of it?
I got it bc I beat the dog out of the rc2060 but after mowing on a hill I was not a fan of the mx5 too much weight so I sold it and went with the rc2072 been happy with it less weight and bigger
The John Deer dealer had both leaning up against a fence he said look under here at the difference the John Deer is a tank 1/2 inch thick blades huge stump jumper I went with the Deer.
@@Drewsadventures00 - can your e-point lift the MX5 up fully, and I’ve heard others say the MX6 is too much for the 3R. It works, but the MX6 really needs more HP.

Luckily my 3038e came with the MX5. I love it. The extra weight seems to add more stability and have less vibration.

It’s funny how dealers vary. My dealer highly advised getting the MX5 and to not waste money on the frontier.
Not mine lol I did ended up going back but to a 6ft I don’t mow as mush brush as I did and I can do it faster
