I don’t have the equipment for bailing it myself, although I plan to in the future A neighbor bails the hay on our land and buys the hay from us. They have already done the last cut of the year Thanks for watching and commenting
@@RockhillfarmYT same here on the equipment. We pay $18 a roll for a neighbor to roll our own grass. Another neighbor spreads litter on it for a second & third cut. I bought a few rolls from another neighbor for $25 a roll. Stay safe!
That is such a funny conversation people want to have. The technical term would be a rotary cutter but I’ve never heard anyone called that. If you live in the south it is a shredder and if you live in Kansas it’s a bush hog no matter who you ask or what brand it is Kind of like how I’ve never heard anyone ask for an adjustable wrench. They’re all called crescent. Wrenches, no matter who makes them.
@@RockhillfarmYT In Minnesota they are called brush mowers no matter what brand you buy. Do you call every pickup a Ford? Do you call every motorcycle a Harley? Do you call every tractor a John Deere?
@AASparkChaser the other day somebody was ready to fight because I didn’t call it a shredder. He was all wound up that shredder was the only proper term. John Deere calls it a rotary cutter My thoughts… who cares

Great video! Editing is spot on!
Thanks. I got some good advice a while back about my shots being shaky
What kind of gear box oil did you use?
I love lock n lube!
Definitely. Tractor time Tim put me onto that one
Thanks for watching
Hey cam you run that 6' without the loader and the front stay down?
Just followed. Great video. What grease do you use in this video? Just bought the same bush hogg.
I don’t recall the grease I use.
Thanks for watching
You didn't show greasing the zerk on the PTO shaft u-joint at the gear box. How do you access that zerk?... I haven't figured it out yet.
You pretty much have to pull the PTO shaft off of the gear box.
I have managed to get the lock and lube on there but it is a pain
Music ruins it
So why not bail it?

@@KingsOutdoorLife They do all the bailing and I get 1/3 of the hay. If I sell it back to them I get $1000-$1200 a year
My PTO shaft takes 5 minutes, bloody knuckles and much swearing to hook up.
I bought a frontier bush hog trying to keep my implements uniform as far as brand and color. Sad to see made in China on the gearbox.
I did not notice that, but I’ve used it a lot and it works well.
Definitely wish they would buy American parts more often
No that is not a Bush Hog! It is a Frontier brush mower.
