Been looking into getting an LX2620 next year for mowing and plowing, and your videos have been the most helpful I've found. Wish you weren't on the other side of the country, else I'd just buy from you guys. Very helpful, and well-done videos!
If you are going to be plowing, I suggest getting a shuttle/ gear tranny as the hydro makes alot of noise and gear puts considerably more power to the ground.
You can tell this kid hasn't ran a bush hog much. Way too delicate. Lol. Would definitely like to see more of Leia! Lol.... But really good video buddy.
Yeah.. I have a bad habit of letting the brush hog scrape the ground, which busts the sheer pins frequently. I’m going to try your suggestion to raise it just a bit and let the rear wheel roll and angle slightly lower.
You have very helpful videos! Thank you! Looking to buy a new Kuboda L47L1 tractor. Making decisions on implements to purchase with it. We have a grassy meadow area in front of our cabin that we want to keep mowed and looking nice. We have a big fire it and playground for grandkids in the meadow. Our land is quite rocky and has torn up our riding mower. Do you think a bush hog implement would be a good choice for mowing our meadow regularly?
If the fire is large enough there will be nothing to mow. It is a good thing you got all of the rocks cleared out so you do not hurt your brush hog. If you want to try mowing rocks I would recommend one thousand RPMs or 1200 and the blades will be damaged and who knows what else.

You're a great communicator and know your stuff, appreciate the video my friend 🤙

New tractor owner here - delivery today 😎. Brush hog will likely be my first attachment to use. 👍 on the video, G.
Great video and very informative. Looking to purchase the RCR12 this Spring to use with my new BX2380.

Yup. A good choice. Assuming remaining rocks are smaller than a baseball.
Going to work as a brush worker right now! Hopefully, I won't wear out too fast as a worker
Hard work is part of life dont be so easy on yourself
@@Dede-dw4oj It's behind me now, but yea hard work makes great men! Didn't wear me out as much as I thought.
Is a 1954 Ferguson tractor capable of driving a brush hog sq 600, have refurbished one, need to see to the blades
Is your driveshaft guard not chained in place? Looks like it’s spinning w/driveshaft? I’m a newbie too, btw. Nice video. 😃
Thanks for the video
Thanks for know how!
Can I use that rotary cutter with a B2401?
Put one on the tlb l47 , 1 year old freshly serviced and thing struggles and hydro gets super hot.. kubota disappoints
I would never have anyone walking around the tractor like that when I’m hogging, this is very dangerous!
The crew had safety gear.
I hit a piece of wood (2x4x4?) with the belly mower. It chucked that wood about 30 yards.
@@CallMeA6 it wont help against a rock or sharp stick
@@Dede-dw4oj Personally I’d rather be filming a brush hog than climbing Mt Everest.
The rear wheel needs to be lowered
A 2-inch oak will be much different than a 2-inch cedar.
That's pine buddy, not cedar.
Not a Bush Hog
I feel like you should really have at least SOME first-hand experience when you are making an instructional video.
