I have fast charge using an iPad charger. Stereo speakers are louder than my S7 Edge and sound batter. Battery is better than my S7 Edge. Screen looks just as good as my S7 Edge. I love it.

I strongly agree with you. That's one thing I want to see in a phone: software updates. Samsung doesn't have it and the phone slows down after a few months. I know because I have been using and still currently using different Samsung devices for at least 3-4 years. Their phones are awesome but they still need to work on their software. I wish Samsung made those Google Play Galaxy edition phones like they used to years ago. And when someone says that they want an iPhone because of stock OS and software updates, Android users are oh so quick to 'strongly' recommend a Nexus instead.
Really disappointed about the bottom of the phone. Supposedly, they removed the headphone jack for a symmetrical look and that it's just a microphone. My opinion is that it doesn't really matter and that they shouldn't have removed the jack.
Played around with the 7 and the Plus today and didn't feel the need to upgrade from my 6S. I think upgrading is only worth it if you really want that new camera. The jet black is overrated, looks like an all black phone, the matte black looks better in my opinion.
I'm quite happy with my 6s plus. I will wait for the 7s plus, or eventually the 8. I'm not happy about the headphone jack, but hopefully in two years, wireless headphones and iPhones both will have a further better battery life. Great video Dom! Looking forward to the video and written review! :)

I tried it yesterday, a Jet Black one that already had 2 very visible scratches on it after ONE DAY of usage without a case, I don't really like the new home button and I hate the absence of the headphone jack. Also the design, other than the new colour opions, is almost the same. Since 2014. I have an iPhone SE and I'll be just fine with it for another year. This phone is brilliant, has insane speed, insane battery life and one-handed usage. I need nothing more.

Optical image stabilization is quite a big deal. I've seen the the annotation but one has to point out that combinded with the larger aperture at 1.8 it makes a huge difference when taking pictures in low light. Of course you wouldn't notice anything outdoors at daylight.
I think its very good because of its great camera, great performance, good battery life, not so attractive but it is water resistant. So Yeah! In my opinion it does not suck.

The thing that pisses me off most about removing the headphone jack is that I can't load my phone while using my headphones, something which I do a lot because I travel a lot. And buying wireless headphones is just not worth it for me because i would have to load those on the go too.

Which means your old 🍎 earphones with audiojack would sound exactly same with adapter as your new lightning earphones. To get better sound you need to spend more cash and buy headphones with builtin high quality DAC. Where iPhone builtin DAC in 2016 is still 16bit... that your telephone operator had for years....

I agree headphone jack is a must! I'm all for Bluetooth headphones but when the battery dies I can plug it in a jack and if required charge my phone at the same time! People will start realising this when on long flights. Also at lot of people have good headphone collection which aren't Bluetooth enabled!

It's not a great phone. They removed the ability to use ~95% of commercially available headphones and earphones. That and that alone negates the minor positive upgrades over the 6s and makes it a downgrade.
No matter what all the Samsung fan boys say sales will determine if this is a success, not gimmicks. If Apple is right then this will be its biggest seller of all time so reviews like this are clearly so far from reality you have to question why they are so wrong? One reason is that around 30% of all current iPhone users have a phone older than two years so the demand is latent and if they decide to upgrade that will mean substantial sales. Another reason is a high turnover of Android users returning to the iPhone as it now offers as much as Android does. Performance is also a major draw, most people over 18 appreciate this more than an iris scanner which is just another way to unlock your phone and gimmicky. Quality, having tried a S7 I just hated that it was all glass, I would be scared to take it outside (drop my phone regularly) such a stupid design and users are not idiots, glass phones are daft. This reviewer is appealing to the teen market and the older market is totally different, we don't for one fall for the QHD being better than 1080p hype, so to most potential iPhone buyers his review is totally irrelevant and to the market he is focusing on most would never buy an iPhone as they are more interested in a pretty phone than an optimised one.
If I was getting the jet black I would just get a see-through case so you don't cover it up if you're going to get those other cases that cover it you might as will just go with a different color
In Jerry's teardown video (JerryRigEverything --> go watch that), right where the 3.5mm jack should be, there's a "hugh mungus" taptic engine dedicated to the power button. That thing could've been replaced by at least 300 mAh additional battery. It's as wide as the battery. It's pretty ridiculous.
I'm ok with the removal of the headphone jack. I have been looking forward to wireless EarPods. With they had a jet-black version. Coming from a 6 Plus it definitely is worth the upgrade. If Apple is change to a 3 year refresh cycle then of course major changes where not coming this year. I still feel like what else can phone companies really do to WOW at this point.
Well, we can like it or not, but the fact that apple made this step is almost imposible they come back. If you listen music, you make it outside, you are no charging it and if so, means you're in the house and you provably have other sources to ear music than the phone. Definitely too soon upgrade of iphone in the case that you need both conection. To me i don't mind about having just a lightning conection.
Who the hell care if the new iphone 7 is faster than any other phones out there?! I have never felt my iphone 6s+ is slow either and guess what? It's already had the fastest processor in smart phone right now so it still doesn't justify to pay another $1000 to buy a new one. As far as i have seen, the new headphone issue is still a lot to be desired and other new features are barely new in my opinions. My iphone 6s+ with the new update is working as well as the new iphone 7! Basically there aren't any additional changes added to the new iphone! I would wait for the next iphone for big changes rather than settling for such an incremental change and spend another $1000 to get a new one. It's a waste of money in my opinion.
My wife loves Iphone, personally I had Samsung but more like android. Now I got a Huawei Mediapad x2. Problem is there is only one apple, and many Android. I'm currently using iPhone 5s and an apple fan boy, but not sure if I need to get iphone 7. Same design, no wireless charging is disappointing although I don't mind no 3.5 jack since I use wireless b&o H5 usually. iPhone 7+ camera quality is also less than my expectation.
I love it but the i have noticed that the two speakers in the bottom not both of them work i mean that the sound only comes from the front and only 1 skeaker in the bottom so i dont get whats the point of taken the headphone jet.❤️❤️❤️
It's not two speakers at the bottom, one of them is a microphone + barometric vent. The point of removing the headphone jack is to give more room for a bigger battery and other internals, and because they don't like the headphone jack.

It does give a symmetrical look, but it also contains a microphone and barometric vent to improve the accuracy of its altimeter.
how often does one use a phone's altimeter?

Well, we can like it or not, but the fact that apple made this step is almost imposible they come back.
If you listen music, you make it outside, you are no charging it and if so, means you're in the house and you provably have other sources to ear music than the phone.
Definitely too soon upgrade of iphone in the case that you need both conection. To me i don't mind about having just a lightning conection.

Who the hell care if the new iphone 7 is faster than any other phones out there?! I have never felt my iphone 6s+ is slow either and guess what? It's already had the fastest processor in smart phone right now so it still doesn't justify to pay another $1000 to buy a new one. As far as i have seen, the new headphone issue is still a lot to be desired and other new features are barely new in my opinions. My iphone 6s+ with the new update is working as well as the new iphone 7! Basically there aren't any additional changes added to the new iphone! I would wait for the next iphone for big changes rather than settling for such an incremental change and spend another $1000 to get a new one. It's a waste of money in my opinion.

My wife loves Iphone, personally I had Samsung but more like android. Now I got a Huawei Mediapad x2. Problem is there is only one apple, and many Android. Personally all will have their favorite phone for whatever reason. Some will pick a phone that's more functional for them, some will follow like sheep and pick brand only. The end
I'm currently using iPhone 5s and an apple fan boy, but not sure if I need to get iphone 7. Same design, no wireless charging is disappointing although I don't mind no 3.5 jack since I use wireless b&o H5 usually. iPhone 7+ camera quality is also less than my expectation.
Glad the headphone jack is gone... sorta like when Apple got rid of the floppy drive in the first iMac, people freaked out.

I love it but the i have noticed that the two speakers in the bottom not both of them work i mean that the sound only comes from the front and only 1 skeaker in the bottom so i dont get whats the point of taken the headphone jet.❤️❤️❤️
It's not two speakers at the bottom, one of them is a microphone + barometric vent.
The point of removing the headphone jack is to give more room for a bigger battery and other internals, and because they don't like the headphone jack.
