Dairyman, father and baby sitter 😊 your daughter is a little cutie. Thanks for sharing Piet, God bless you and your family for feeding us milk, ice-cream etc. Best regards, thank you.
Hi Piet. It's hot down there I see. We are amid a heatwave in Montreal. Last night at 3:30am it was (28c) and we went up to (31c) during the day. It's raining now. So temps dropped a little. It was nice to see the baby. She is lovely. The boys have a dedicated space to ride their bicycles !! Not sure if the Moo Cows were pleased, they seem to run away from the stocks.
It's likely a combination of a bacteria that's in the environment, the stress of moving to freestalls and lower air quality when there's limited air movement in the barn.
Nice ! The future of the farm , future director , manager and the accountant surveying the future work place ! Lol

28 Celsius at night, that's hot!
Piet, do you have a lot of flies in your barn? I believe they can cause pinkeye also.
There are some flies, but we have some pink eye year round, so I don't think flies are the main problem.
Love babys
Do you put spec in there eyes to treat the pink eye ?
What is spec?
@@pietvanbedaf-nddairyfarmer9047 SPECTRAMAST We use this product to treat pink eye also for mastitis cows
♥️🇵🇱🏅
We never had problems with pinkeye outside of fly season. What do you feel the vector is that is bringing this organism to the heifers' eyes?
