Nice! I'm curious about the turbo intake piping that you do. It is very tough to fit the 3" piping and meet all of the recommendations, not to mention if you try to get a cold air intake. Feel free to make more vids on this build don't be shy.🤘🤘
Thank you for sharing your project. Which transmission are you using? Need help with interfacing the engine with vehicle electronics? I can share how my 2007 JKU is interfaced with its Cummins 4BT.
Factory tachometer function: Use Jeep crankshaft position sensor & existing wiring to read tone ring mounted on R2.8 harmonic balancer. Tone ring based on scaled-down pattern of ring ‘gear’ mounted on original flywheel. Factory oil light & temp gauge function: tee original sensors to those on the R2.8 into their respective ports. Momentarily after engine starts, original tachometer will display RPM, oil light will be active & temp will show. Original ECU will activate original cooling fan at ECU-determined temperature or when AC is on. Info based on my Bruiser Conversion 4BT swap into 2007 JKU.
I've had a lot of questions on this. Truck is out getting AC lines built. When it gets back, I'll create a video on what I did and would never do again. tl;dr is just buy bushings in tubes and make your own.

trans is a TR4050. That would be great if you could.

Did you have to make your own motor mounts or were you able to buy them?

I’m contemplating putting a r2.8 in my JK. Were you able to source engine mounts or did you have to make them?
I modified what I got in the 'kit' from Quickdraw. I wish I had saved my money with them and simply used some generic poly-bushing-in-a-tube mounts.
