I polished an F86 fighter jet yrs. Ago that was owned by Tom Wood who owned car dealerships.(can be seen by a google search) it was brutal!! Much respect to you
I have a 1930 Model A roadster, all hand formed aluminum. I have to polish it every month. There’s no paint on it. A lot of work and I bet that truck is much more work. Looks sharp.
Weak Is not a word to describe your wrists, forearma, shoulders and lowerback. Youre going to need wrists of steel, and alot of snickers bars causr you aint going anywhere for awhile. If you polish you know this is a Gem. Great presentation.
One metal coating for wheels I have used is from Yvan Lacroix DIY Detail metal ceramic coating. They (Nick McGurt and Yvan Lacroix) also did a Tesla step by step video.
@@1stfrompuertorico568Thanks for the information. There are also many different metal coatings out there. Unfortunately the chemical make up is the same and will haze a polished surface.
this might be a stupid question but what color was it originally ? and they had to remove all the paint first and stop at door jambs? . its beautiful but i want to chrome wrap my aluminum f150 and this seems way nicer .
What about all the Ashton Martian that has been polished for over 40 years dozens of them around the UK. Tons of work. Looks good but reminds me of 1999 chopper chrome life. Glass class paint work will always have the top spot. I’ve been painting for 17 years and when we go to sema to have 7 8 colors with no lift line feel that’s time and talent.
Maybe because it’s unsafe to drive a truck on the road when you can’t see directly in front of the vehicle. Depending on the angle of squat it could make the the 30-40 feet, or possibly much more, in front of the bumper invisible!
That F-250 is incredible looking.
It’s even better in person

Dunno how I got here, but damn that man can bring some metal to life.
For sure
Always wondered what it would look like. There It is bad ass.
Wow now this is true craftsmanship from every angle amazing and totally different not a clone. Keep up the hard work.
Glad I had a chance to see it at scrapin in MISSISSIPPI
My favorite paint job is no paint. Love the raw effect it must reflect in person. Awesome truck!
Great conversation and questions here as well, really important to note!
Thank you

Tobins the man hands down!!!
For sure!
It would be neat to see one of these sprayed over with something like Spectra flame like the old hot wheels cars were
Dang, that looks fine👌
I love Renegade products too
It’s killer for sure

Who’s Ashton Martian?
Is he Marvin the Martian’s brother? 👽 😂
Wear a mask when sanding/buffing any metal.. your lungs will thank you
As soon as you polish something aluminum you now have a problem with it forever more😂.
F-250 footage starts at 18:40
It’ll never rust!
Straight up beautiful
It sure is.
Aluminum polishers are the only ones that can do blackface and not get any backlash. 😂😂
That's fricken wild I can't imagine the hours spend on doing that and how absolutely black the polisher was lol that's absolutely WILD
Love how he said it’s not high quality aluminum lol
Yah it's industry standard for body panels. Not leaving the ground like a helicopter.
That truck is nasty
Agreed
Looks nice but on a summers day on the highway doesnt seem like a good idea.
Why are squatted trucks banned?
Maybe because it’s unsafe to drive a truck on the road when you can’t see directly in front of the vehicle. Depending on the angle of squat it could make the the 30-40 feet, or possibly much more, in front of the bumper invisible!
safety glasses !!
Grinding metal with no eye protection, genius!
World’s first polished truck huh? 😂😂
Polishing SUCKS !!!!!!!! But it does look good
Facts
Now sniff youre nose and be amazed what you breathed in
All that polishing and you leave a dent in the back edge of the front passenger door?
Geh as hell
I wonder what the rate of cancer is after inhaling all the aluminum dust.....
That is one gay truck.
The effort it took to polish it certainly isn't though. What a job.
You forgot the other half of your lift kit. More queer than a $2 bill
Polishing metal sucks! Very dirty work
It’s sad . There is 16 year old detailers that can explain more than these goons lol
No wrap would look that good. The reflection is excellent. I have been installing vinyl for 15 years
THATS A SICK FCUKING TRUCK...BRO KNOWS HOW TO POLISH THATS FIR SHURE....HELL YEAH
Big time
That's not very impressive
ALOOOOMINOOM
The polish is cool but the stance is stupid
