Esta película trata sobre el golpe militar en Chile de 1973 y fue realizada en locaciones de la ciudad de México en 1982
the daughter and her husband... her parents were good friends of my father and then they were were missed in Argentina. Hopefully those friends had their grandchildren back in France. But their parents never returned and noone knows what happened to them
Soy chileno y pese a que se cumplen 50 años de la dictadura mas sangrienta de America Latina, nuestros politicos de derecha no reconocen la complicidad con el Golpe Militar. Fue una epoca triste y nuestra gente aun esta quebrada.

No concuerdo para nada con la dictadura vivida pero seamos honestos, el drama comenzó años antes con la polarización política extrema que sufrió un país tranquilo como fue siempre el nuestro,. Los resentimientos y los odios dieron rienda suelta a los tontos útiles de siempre, y cuando se produjo golpe todos los políticos y secuaces ya estaban todos asilados mientras el pueblo que los siguió pagaba los platos rotos. Cicatrices de por vida.

A bit too delicate and beautiful to fit with the docu-fiction classic of Costa-Gavras, (closer to docu), but standing alone, it's a bigger pleasure. This story needed to be told and adapt by a great director.
So beautiful song for a magnificent film. But "Missing" is not a political drama, it's a horror film. Saludos a los hermanos, compañeros y camaradas chilenos! Dictadura nunca más!

A film rossz, a zene gyönyörű.
Recuerdo cuando joven que este film me impresiono mucho... digo, eran tiempos que se habla mucho de las dictaduras, y estábamos consientes que el horror de vivirlas debería ser una experiencia terrible.. Esta peli se filmó en México y se comentaba -a ratos en broma y ratos con procupación- del ´sindome Costa Gavras'...que hizo 'Z' que trataba de un golpe en Grecia y la filmó en Chile ...despúes hizo Missing el golpe de Chile que filmó en México... y dadas tales concidencias en las charlas de café las personas mayores nos decían "seguimos nosotros'... Yo respondía "No lo creo lo peor ya pasó en el 68, en Tlatelolco".
